I'm a musician, singer/songwriter, blogger, writer, poet, bodybuilder, movie lover, music lover, video gamer, history/political buff, conservative/republican, etc. I like to do a lot of things.

Learning & Practicing the piano is fun. I’m gonna stick with it for the rest of my life, I think…

So I find myself learning and practicing the piano a lot more all week. It’s a fun instrument to learn once you get into it. I just finally wanted to play something different other than guitar. Playing piano and learning to read music is not that hard. I’ve always loved piano ballads.

Whenever I feel I’m good enough at piano, I’ll start learning some piano covers. There are songs I want to learn like John Lennon’s “Imagine”, Billy Joel’s “Piano Man”, Elton John “Tiny Dancer”, The Commodores “Easy”, The Righteous Brothers “Unchained Melody”, Simon & Garfunkel “Bridge Over Troubled Water”, Ben Folds “Brick”, Evanescence “My Immortal” and many others. Those are some of my favorite piano songs and I want to learn them.

I would love to get an upright piano or a grand piano but there’s no room for either of those so I guess I’m stuck with electric keyboards/pianos.  I just love the sound of the piano and want to play that music myself. I will also write original piano ballads myself which is something I’ve always wanted to do.

Another reason I wanted to get into piano/keyboard playing is so I can have the skills to learn MIDI controllers ’cause a lot of MIDI controllers have keys on them and I need to learn how to do that stuff. When I write original rock songs through DAW software, I would like to add in all kinds of instruments like strings, brass and other kinds of cool sounds.

Piano/keyboards is a pretty cool instrument. As long as you are pretty good at guitar and have been playing for a long time, you should already have plenty of music knowledge to get good at piano fast. That’s what happening with me when I learn piano. I’m already learning things quickly. I could get really good at piano in about a year or so. I just gotta stick with it and I will.

So thankful we get to celebrate 4th Of July with Trump today and not Hillary. Be ready for a lot of patriotism in DC today.

If Hillary was elected, she would have put on a concert with rap and pop stars performing like Katy Perry, Madonna, etc. Under Trump, you’re probably gonna see mostly patriotic things like maybe a marching band, US troops/veterans being a part of something and maybe a choir singing patriotic songs. It’s gonna be interesting to see what Trump is planning on doing. I’m sure he will do fireworks in DC tonight, of course but I think he would do more.

Enjoy your day today.

This tweet by Lori Hendry is so right, media has been attacking us for many years…

https://twitter.com/Lrihendry/status/881828889986781184

I love this tweet by Lori Hendry who is a popular Trump supporter and conservative on twitter. She is so right. We were attacked for hating on Obama throughout the 8 years of his presidency. They called us “racist” each time we disagreed on something. Now the media is attacking Donald Trump’s personality. It’s looking like liberals actually have no problem with Trump’s policies but it’s his personality they’re hating on.

Hmmmm, I’m about to make an observation on something…

Liberals are calling Trump mentally ill, an egomaniac, arrogant, narcissistic and short-tempered. They’re also saying a bunch of shit about Trump not being able to take criticism. Well, it’s interesting how liberals never attacked Obama ’cause Obama was all those things. Obama was mentally ill, an egomaniac, arrogant, narcissistic and yes, he was short-tempered.

Obama was also one to never taking any criticism. How was it that Obama never took criticism? Well lets see… targeting conservatives through the IRS, spying on Americans through the NSA and spying on news journalists such as James Rosen and the Associated Press. When things never went Obama’s way, he cries like a baby and gets all defensive. A perfect example of that is when Obama cried when he didn’t get his gun control through the Senate. Also, forgot to mention that Obama used the media to kiss his ass 24/7. The media never gave Obama one thing to criticize him about when there are tons of things to criticise him about.

Not only that liberals are attacking Trump for his personality, they’re also attacking us for supporting him. They attacked us for hating on Obama and now they’re attacking us for supporting Trump.

The media doesn’t care about the will of the American people at all. All they do is kiss up to liberals ’cause it gives them ratings and money. No doubt that liberals get their political info from the media. If you hate Donald Trump but love Obama then you probably read garbage like the NYTimes, WashPost and you probably watch NBC/MSNBC/CNN. It seems that liberals always have the same opinions and viewpoints as the media. They would only listen to them and never the people like us.

Once again, all the things that liberals are calling Trump: mentally ill, egomaniac, narcissist, arrogant, etc. Obama was all that! That’s why you got Trump ’cause we were fed up with Obama. How was Obama egomaniacal and arrogant? Well I can go on all day about this but to keep it short, he thought he was the president of the world and not the US. He never cared about the American people and was more about himself.

Obama was the biggest fraud in American political history. Snaked his way into the White House by faking his birth certificate and sealing his records. There’s another example of an egomaniacal and narcissistic jackass.

Obama was the one who was the madman, not Trump. Liberals are totally brainwashed by the media and they still don’t realize that’s what the media does. It’s what they get ratings and money for.

We’re real tired of liberals attacking us all the time and it’s finally time to fight back! No more liberals trying to silence us.

Is Sly teasing that Ivan Drago could make comeback for “Creed 2”???

Sly just posted that photo up and he seems to be teasing that Ivan Drago might appear in “Creed 2” in some way. Could Ivan Drago come out of retirement and fight Apollo’s son in “Creed 2”? Either that or Ivan Drago ends up having a son himself and his son fights Apollo’s son for the next “Creed” film.

I would think Ivan Drago would be a retired boxer himself by now but if the idea for “Creed 2” is that Ivan has a boxer son now, that would be kind of cool. It would make total sense to bring Ivan Drago back too, that way Adonis can get revenge at the guy who killed his father.

I hope Ivan comes back ’cause it would be cool to see Ivan and Rocky reunited. Question is though, would Rocky and Ivan be friends or are they enemies still? I think it’ll be cool if Dolph Lundgren reprises his role as Ivan Drago for “Creed 2”. It’ll probably end up happening.

Dolph is not that old, he’s just 59. I think the idea would be that Ivan could be his sons manager to fight against Adonis (Apollo’s son).

I really loved the first “Creed” movie a lot. I actually thought it was a very good movie and no doubt, it was Sly Stallone’s best performance in his career. I’m definitely gonna go see “Creed 2” for sure.

No matter what your thoughts are on the Trump beating up CNN wrestling gif, it’s good publicity for WWE and I’m sure Vince is happy.

Yesterday, Trump posted a WWE gif that got the internet going crazy. As the title of this topic says, no matter what your thoughts on the WWE gif that Trump posted on twitter, it’s good publicity for WWE on both sides of the spectrum. Trump got the right and the left talking about WWE. In other words, Trump  just gave WWE a pretty big shout out yesterday.

To those of you that don’t know, Trump and Vince McMahon has a long history together. They go way back so they’ve been friends for a long time. Back in the 80’s, Trump had a few Wrestlemania events at Trump Plaza a long time ago in Atlantic City. Trump has always been supportive of WWE and the wrestling business. That’s why Donald Trump got inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame and it’s why Trump got the opportunity to perform at Wrestlemania 23 for the “Battle of the Billionaires” storylines and take part in the “Hair vs. Hair” match.

No matter what peoples thoughts of Trump’s WWE gif are, I’m sure Vince is happy that the political world is talking about WWE. So could the American people start tuning into WWE shows like RAW/SD/NXT/PPV’s? We’ll see how WWE ratings do now that Trump gave WWE a shoutout. It could get more people interested in wrestling.

I’m pretty positive Vince would have no problem of Trump posting that wrestling gif so don’t get your hopes up if Vince is planning on suing Trump ’cause it won’t happen. Vince and Trump has been friends for years. They’ve always been business partners too. Trump has always been pretty close to the McMahon family and the proof is in the pic above. Vince’s wife who is Linda McMahon is part of the Trump admin. as she works for the SBA.

Could ratings for RAW and Smackdown go up a little this week after Trump posting that gif? We’ll wait and find out what happens.

I understand where Trump is coming from ’cause I go through the same thing he’s going through…

Once again, I find it interesting how when people decide to attack someone and when that someone attacks back, that someone is a bad person all of a sudden. I go through the same thing. What Donald Trump is going through, reminds me of how the local music scene treated me over the years.

You see, local musicians and people involved in the music scene, thought it was okay to criticize me and bash me whenever they wanted. They had no problem to make fun of me all they wanted like through social networking, message boards, youtube, even blogs, etc. I decide to call the local music scene out for this stuff and sure enough they’ll be like, “Oh no, Brock is a douche and a troll. He’s so unprofessional and hurting the music scene”.

Same thing going on with Trump and the media. Media attacks him, Trump calls them out and now they think he’s a bad guy for it.

The local music scene thought it was okay to criticize my music, my singing, myself as a person and all kinds of stuff but when I decide to attack back even more aggressively, they don’t like that. I’m not gonna name names but they know who they are and many of them probably still follow my blog… ya know, the haters in this area. People publicly trash me, I call try to call them out for it and some people say I shouldn’t be doing that. Just ignore them and play my music. Kind of messed up, ya know?

In my opinion, I think it’s a good thing to attack those back when you’re attacked first. Trump has been inspiring me to do that more. It’s called standing up for yourself and there’s nothing wrong with that. I think Trump has been inspiring his supporters to do that ’cause I’m noticing that Trump supporters attack those back who attacks them first.

We should have every right to stand up to things of what we believe in and that means fighting back at the haters & bullies that come after you. When people attack you first, don’t let them think it’s okay. Just don’t sit there and let ’em win. Sitting there ignoring them is not gonna do anything. Usually when you call out people for attacking you, they usually play innocent victim every fucking time. Happens with me each time I call someone out for attacking me. They’re like, “Oh no, I have freedom of speech” and blah blah blah. Just like what’s going on in the media against Trump.

This is all fucked up. I still get haters to this day and I try to ignore them most of the time but Trump is inspiring me that I shouldn’t ignore them. Don’t let people think it’s okay to get away with their bullshit.

Stand up for yourself. Whether you get attacked by liberals. If you’re a musician and if you get haters, fight back at them as well. No matter what you do as a hobby or a profession you’re gonna get your share of haters. If you hit Donald Trump, he’s gonna hit you back harder. He’s inspiring me to have that same attitude and you should too. Fighting back at your haters used to be wrong but Trump is making it normal. Be tough and rise above!

Kev

And that’s the bottom line ’cause Trump 3:16 says so…

Looks like Trump 3:16 just opened a can of whoop ass on CNN.

NeverTrumpers and liberals are in meltdown mode again after Trump just posted that… lmao.

Gotta love Trump’s sense of humor. He does have a sense of humor, why don’t you haters grow up and have one too?

Gov. Andrew Cuomo should be arrested for voter fraud…

During last year’s President 2016 election, Hillary couldn’t have won NY State. No doubt at all Trump really won that state ’cause the NY map showed mostly “red”. When it was announced that Hillary won that state, I was pretty shocked. The news tried to spin it that it was NYC that helped Hillary win but I don’t believe it at all.

http://buffalonews.com/2017/06/30/cuomo-rejects-federal-panel-bid-voter-information/

With that being said, I think Cuomo got elected Gov. of New York due to voter fraud and he’ll probably do it again in 2018.

Hey NY State, it’s finally time to vote this corrupted asshole out. I know I will.

Thinking of becoming an instrumental artist, doesn’t mean I’ll give up singing for good… I’ll do both…

Listening to instrumental electric guitar music has always been my favorite thing. I’ve always loved listening to instrumental guitar music like Al Di Meola, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Jason Becker, Marty Friedman, Alan Holdsworth, Eric Johnson and others. I haven’t gotten into Yngwie Malmsteen much but I should get into his music more too. I’ve been listening to instrumental shred guitar for many years and I’m thinking of becoming that kind of artist. It’s why I’m trying to improve my guitar playing chops. Learning music theory, ear training skills, improving my technique and all that stuff. I want to play guitar like those guys I listed and working my way up there.

In the past, I used to make my own instrumental music using MIDI software and want to get back into that stuff again. I would like to make my own instrumental backing tracks to jam killer leads over it. Yeah, I want to make instrumental music ’cause I love that stuff. Doesn’t mean I’ll give up singing for good, though. I’ll make both instrumentals and songs with vocals. I’ll make songs with vocals only if the song calls for it.

It is also why I’m trying to get good with piano/keyboards so I can have the skills to use MIDI controllers and learn how to use the”Piano Roll’ on DAW’s. It is why I’m trying to study and practice virtual drums & timing so I can have the skills to program my own drum tracks.

To be an instrumental artist, having a good ear, knowing music theory and having good rhythm chops is pretty important. I’m trying to get good with all those. It has always been my dream to make an instrumental shred album and one day I will. In guitar playing, I’m not a speed demon and technical god yet but I do want to get there, though. Just taking my time. A lot of guitarists like to rush but I don’t. I just want to be patient and not get too ahead of myself.

Instrumental music is awesome and I would like to start making that kind of music myself.
