It’s not really all that hard to apply scales to chord progressions, it’s very easy!

In the past, I used to struggle with jamming over chord progressions. I love jamming so much. I love playing lead guitar and I love soloing! It’s what I picked up the guitar for to begin with ’cause I wanted to play lead guitar like all the greats! I am finding that playing scales over chord progressions and making it sound good is actually pretty easy. That’s why you gotta learn your music theory, ya know? I’m so glad I learned it ’cause it is helping me a lot.

However, though, I won’t learn a lot of scales. The only scales I’ll use are probably just the major/minor pentatonic scales and the modes. I enjoy modal jamming too!

I just wish I have a good ear in music and that’s improving too. I’m starting to get the hang of what a lot of notes sound like and memorizing sounds. I’m doing all I can to master the art of “improvisation” and become a wiz at music theory but I’m getting there, though!

While I think I’m an okay lead guitarist, I also need to work on the phrasing and try to sound more melodic. When you want to become a great lead guitarist, sounding musical is key. When soloing, you don’t want to sound like you’re running up and down scales in every song. You gotta sound musical and that’s my goal.

I’m not a shredder yet but that is my goal. I would like to play 200 bpm or more but it’ll take a lot of practice to get there.

I’m doing all I can to improve my guitar playing and take it to the next level. It’s fun and I love learning music and love playing guitar.

We don’t know much about Ted Cruz just like we don’t know much about Obama…

Ted Cruz and Barack Obama both have one thing in common. We know nothing about either one of them. Ted Cruz is very secretive and mysterious about his past much like Obama. Ted Cruz sealed a lot of his personal info just like Obama. Are we gonna keep having this shit? Politicians hiding so much about their personal lives… they keep it all hidden hoping to become president? If Obama was successful at getting away with it, other foreigners are gonna give it a try like Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio. We know nothing about Ted’s past. It’s turning out that Ted is a serial cheater and womanizer. There’s even more juicy information about Ted that he has had a past with prostitution as well.

That’s the thing with politicians, ya know? In public, politicians may seem like they’re normal people which is why a lot of people think there is nothing wrong with them. Once you get a reality check of who these politicians are, you’ll find out that they are not normal. Politicians may seem like perfect people who are doing things for America but in reality, these people are humans like us. Yes, they can do stupid and crazy things like us, make no mistake about it. They may seem like they’re friendly people but in reality they aren’t.

Since Barack Obama was successful at getting away with his fake birth certificate, others are gonna give it a try. We’ll keep having this in the 2020 elections too. It’ll get much worse.

We know nothing about Ted Cruz just like we know nothing about Obama. I’m so sick of this. Corrupted politicians thinking they can become president but we know nothing about them at all.

Why is it important that we should know more about a candidate when running for president? It’s because we want someone that we can trust. If someone is running for president and if we don’t know much about him/her then how can we trust them, ya know? If we get a president we don’t know much about then that person will be a bad president. You know how in real life that we shouldn’t trust someone we don’t know well? Well it’s the same with the president/candidate. We shouldn’t trust people we don’t know.

Sad thing is that it seems like each time we get a candidate we don’t know much about, that candidate all of a sudden becomes the most popular. That’s what’s happened with Barack Obama and Ted Cruz. We shouldn’t be supporting someone we don’t know much about but the American people just goes ahead and supports them anyways. That’s messed up, man. Why do we have to keep supporting candidates we don’t know? I blame that on the media for sure. The media doesn’t want to be honest about “transparency” which is the problem. A lot of misinformed voters get brainwashed by the media. As long as the media says that Obama and Ted Cruz are good people, voters will naively buy into that stuff.

I can’t stand Ted Cruz and when Donald Trump wins Wisconsin this Tuesday, it should be over for Ted.

Wrestlemania 32 review…

Well last night on WWE Network, I got to watch “Wrestlemania 32” for FREE ’cause I signed up for their free trial. Over the weekend, I’ve started to watch older Wrestlemanias on it and so far, I’m very impressed with WWE Network. It’s actually a cool streaming service ’cause you can watch old school wrestling on there. WWE Network has everything. It has every episode of RAW and SMACKDOWN. It also has every WWE PPV. It even has all the WCW and ECW ppvs as well. WWE Network is not just a streaming service, it’s also a 24 hr. wrestling channel which is cool.

Anyway, I got to watch Wrestlemania 32 last night on WWE Network for FREE ’cause I didn’t want to pay $60 or $70 for a ppv, ya know? I think I’m gonna keep WWE Network for sure. I can watch WWE Network on my PS3 ’cause I installed the app on the PS3 and watched it on there. WWE Network is pretty similar to Netflix but a little different. I plan on keeping both Netflix and WWE Network but I’m gonna have to cancel the Netflix DVD rental as a way to help cut down costs. I don’t need Netflix DVD rental anyways but I’ll keep the Netflix streaming, though. If I want to rent movies, I can just rent them through the Itunes store.

On with my Wrestlemania 32 review, it was a pretty good Wrestlemania. Not the best Wrestlemania ever but pretty good. Could have been better but the best matches of the night were the IC Championship ladder match, the Triple Threat Divas Championship match, AJ Styles vs. Chris Jericho, Undertaker vs. Shane “Hell in a Cell” and “Triple H vs. Roman Reigns”.

Here are my thoughts on each match from last night:

Ladder Match for the IC Title: 7 mid-card superstars took part in this match and it was surprisingly very fun and exciting. I liked the match a lot. Glad Zach Ryder got the win ’cause I liked him for a pretty long time.

Chris Jericho vs. AJ Styles: This was definitely one of the best matches of the night. Technical wrestling is finally back! This match was true wrestling right here. Chris and AJ were both really good. I remember watching AJ Styles on TNA wrestling and I always knew one day he would make it in WWE. AJ Styles is a talent you should be looking up to ’cause we have a future main eventer and future WWE Champion. I’m glad Jericho won this match ’cause I’ve been a Jericho fan for a pretty long time. Still am.

The League of Nations vs. The New Day: This wasn’t a very good match but it got a lot better when Stone Cold, Mick Foley and Shawn Michaels HBK made surprising appearances at the end of match. I’m glad to see Mick Foley back in WWE finally and it was great to see Foley back in action. We haven’t seen Foley in action in a long time and I’m glad he used the sock aka the Mandible Claw.

Brock Lesnar vs. Dean Ambrose “Street Fight”: This match was just okay and nothing special. They kept it in the ring the whole time and called it a “Street Fight”? Really? How about taking the fight outside of the ring like fight in the audience, backstage or even outside of the arena like the good old days of wrestling? That’s how “Street Fights” in WWE used to be. Why the change?

The Rock segment: Cena/the Rock vs. The Wyatt Family: This segment was pretty lame and boring at best. The Rock’s speech was pretty long and boring. Why do Rock segments at Wrestlemania have to be so damn long? *yawn* I used to like the Rock but he hasn’t been interesting anymore. I’m not looking forward to John Cena being back either.


Triple Threat Divas Championship w/ Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch: Never thought I would say this for a Divas match but I think this match would have to be another favorite of the night. This match was surprisingly amazing. It was a pretty thrilling and exciting match actually. I thought the three women Charlotte, Sasha and Becky played this match beautifully. Yes, there was actually some good wrestling going on and we haven’t had this in a long time. My eyes were glued to the screen during this match. This was the best Divas match in a long time and I really mean that too. I am now a fan of Charlotte Flair who is the daughter of Ric Flair.

20 Man Andre the Giant Battle Royal: This match was pretty dumb. I believe this match was put on the card as a way to fill up time for the card, nothing more.

The Undertaker vs. Shane “Hell in a Cell”: Not surprised that the Undertaker ended up winning this one and it was a clean win for the Undertaker. Nobody came in to help Shane at all but Shane was doing good. This match was just okay but could have been better. It’s not a “Hell in a Cell” match with no blood and there wasn’t any. Plus they rehashed a lot of stuff from the Mick Foley vs. Undertaker “Hell in a Cell” matches in the past like when Shane jumped off from the top of the Cell and into the announcer table, that was borrowed from Foley, I think. Don’t get me wrong, this was an exciting match but could have been better.

Triple H vs. Roman Reigns for WWE Title: I was expecting Triple H to win this one but Roman Reigns ended up winning it. This was a great match surprisingly. Both men did a good job and they kept it unpredictable too. Only thing I didn’t like about the match is Stephanie ’cause she’s annoying as fuck. Other than that, this was a great match.

Overall a pretty good Wrestlemania. Glad I got to watch it for FREE and don’t have to pay a thing thanks to the WWE Network free trial! I plan to watch RAW tonight to see what happens after.

Is there a difference between Republican & Democrat these days? We really need a third party!

A lot of people want to mistakenly believe that the Republican party is a pretty conservative party but the way things are going these days, Republican is not conservative anymore. The Republican party is so divided these days thanks to Ted Cruz and his big fat mouth. I blame the division on the Republican party on Ted. Donald Trump didn’t destroy the Republican party, all he did was exposed how corrupt the GOP is… I blame Ted Cruz for destroying the GOP. It’s easy to see. Ted has successfully gotten so-called conservatives to go on hating Donald Trump. That’s how divisive the GOP is.

With that being said, I’ve always believed that the GOP and Democrat is pretty much the same. The GOP has become more liberal than ever these days. The GOP in Congress has agreed to too many liberal policies, it’s pretty sickening. The more the GOP goes after Donald Trump, the more it is clear that they never intended to take down Obama. If you want me to back up my points on how the GOP is becoming more liberal these days is that they have been helping Obama on a lot of his liberal policies. The corrupted GOP allowed Obama to pass Obamacare, Obamatrade, The FCC internet rules and many other things. We elected the GOP to take down Obama but they never did a damn thing. Instead, they helped Obama. The GOP also never did anything to stop gay marriage becoming the law of land either so I take it that they all support “gay marriage”? It seems that Democrats and the GOP are on the same side.

To me, the GOP and Democrats are the same party it seems like. They aren’t against each other like they used to be. We are in desperate need of a third party. So if Mr. Trump decides to run as an independent all of a sudden then kudos to him. If Trump goes independent then I will. I will switch my party if he does. It still could be possible that Mr. Trump could go independent the more the GOP continues to plot on him.

This election is so crazy, man. The funny thing is Mr. Trump is a Republican so he’s part of the GOP as well so when a political party goes after someone in their own party then there’s something wrong there.

My feelings are that if you call yourself a conservative and if you hate Donald Trump then you’re not a real conservative. Ted Cruz and all of his whacky supporters are not real conservatives. They’re all liberals pretending to be conservatives. In other words, they’re closet liberals. I know Mr. Trump is a true conservative ’cause I know a lot about “conservatism” better than anybody. Everyone was so hung up on trying to make Mr. Trump look like a fake conservative but it didn’t work for them so now they’re trying to destroy him on “abortion”.

Everybody thinks Mr. Trump is gonna lose this election miserably and I think he’s going to win it all the way. I’ve tried to warn people and they won’t listen. They think Trump is gonna lose this election over a “Contested” or “Brokered” convention but neither of those will happen either. Trump will easily win the 1237 delegates needed to win nomination and he’s just about there.

While all the negativity toward Mr. Trump pisses me off but at the same time, it entertains the hell out of me. Don’t people have better things to do than hate on Trump? The haters are more obsessed with Mr. Trump than they are with their support for Bernie Sanders.

We really need a third party pretty badly and that’s why we need Trump in the White House.

If Trump is blocked of the nomination at the Convention, there will probably be a riot…

Even though there are rules in the election process, politicians never follow them anyways. Politicians are always stealing elections and cheating them. Like I said before what’s stopping politicians from doing the same? If Trump is robbed of the nomination at the Convention, I’m predicting there will probably be a riot by angry Trump supporters. If the Convention is successful at stopping Trump, man, they better be ready in Cleveland ’cause Trump supporters will probably start a riot.

If you think the Black Lives Matter riots in Baltimore was bad, wait until the riots happen at Cleveland during the Convention if Trump is denied of the nomination.

It’ll be very sad and unfair to Trump and his supporters if the GOP is successful at stopping him ’cause after all this hard work that Trump went through. That’s why the Convention is gonna get a riot if Trump gets blocked. So the GOP better do the right thing and give Trump the nomination or things are not gonna be pretty after.

Lets hope Trump does get the nomination fairly though. We’re all praying and hoping for Trump. We want him the next POTUS and it’s a shame that people don’t care what we want.

Just signed up for WWE Network so I can watch Wrestlemania 32 for FREE tomorrow night!

So I just signed up for a free month trial of WWE Network today so I can watch “Wrestlemania 32” for FREE tomorrow night. I signed up for WWE Network ’cause I didn’t want to pay $60 to $70 for a ppv, that’s why I signed up for WWE Network.

To be honest, I’m actually really impressed with WWE Network. It’s actually very good stuff! WWE Network is pretty similar to Netflix in a way, just a wrestling version of it. WWE Network has every episode of RAW and SMACKDOWN. It also has every WWE ppv including all the old Wrestlemania’s and Royal Rumbles. It even has WCW and ECW on there too.

This also means I get to watch old school wrestling ’cause I love old school wrestling. That was back in the days when wrestling was “wrestling” and it used to be good back then. In order to help celebrate Wrestlemania tomorrow, I thought I would watch some old school wrestling later this evening and I will! I plan on watching some of the older Wrestlemania’s and stuff.

Even though I don’t like how WWE is going today, I still love professional wrestling. I’ve always had loved wrestling ever since I was a kid and still do love it. I just want WWE to improve and get better but they never do.

Looking forward to WM-32 tomorrow night and hope it doesn’t suck!

If I really want to improve my lead guitar playing… I really need to jam with other musicians…

If I really want to improve my lead guitar playing and take it to the next level… I need to do more than just studying music theory, practicing ear training and figuring out songs by ear. One way that WILL really help your lead guitar skills is just by simply jamming with other musicians. Jamming with other guitarists, bass players and even jam with other bands which I plan to do all that really soon. Jamming with other musicians will really help your playing overall, though.

I jammed on guitar with other musicians in the past before but I really need to do that a lot more. Jam at open mic nights and things like that. Jam with other musicians just for fun and nothing more.

Before I decide to form a band of my own, I need to jam with other musicians to test out my improvisation skills. I’ve heard that jamming with real musicians will really help your playing and I need to start doing that soon.

Can you be best friends with the opposite sex? Yes absolutely!

It is absolutely possible to be best friends with the opposite sex for sure. There’s nothing wrong with guys having female friends and there’s nothing wrong with women having guy friends at all. As a matter of fact, I prefer to have female friends than guy friends. Why? Probably because women are more nicer. They’re easier to talk to and easier to get along with for sure. There’s no drama with women. So because you’re best friends with the opposite sex doesn’t mean you’re dating each other or anything, just really good friends and that’s it.

I like having female friends and yes, I have quite a few of them. It is also definitely possible for a guy to be best friends with a girl who is already in a relationship or married… as long as her boyfriend/husband is cool with it then it should be all good!

I enjoy having female friends. They make you feel loved for sure and they help me become a better man too.

The Washington Post really sucks, how could you read this garbage??? They’re making lies about Trump now…

The Washington Post is declaring that nobody likes Trump and not even white men. It’s just another lie and you know it too. If you actually believe the Post then you really are dumb and naive. If it was true that nobody likes Trump then he wouldn’t have gotten 739 delegates in the primaries/caucus’s. His polls wouldn’t be in the lead. The Washington Post is trying to brainwash you into thinking he isn’t popular. I love how the article says that not even white men like Trump. Really? There are plenty of white men who LOVE Trump and that includes me. I’m a white guy. Also, using “white men” in the headline is kind of racist.

Media’s making terrible lies that Trump’s polls are tanking which is not true. Trump’s polls are STILL doing fine ’cause Donald Trump himself keeps re-sharing the real poll results just to prove that the media is lying about him.

Can’t you guys see how dishonest the media is? You should have seen that by now.

The way the media is treating Trump is horrible and they’re getting a lot worse on him for sure. Mr. Trump doesn’t care though. He just keeps going. Can you play rock & metal on acoustic guitar? Yes, you can, absolutely!

A lot of people make the mistake that you can’t play rock n’ roll and metal on the acoustic guitar. You can. As a matter of fact, most of my original acoustic songs were metal inspired as you can probably tell. Actually most of my songs are kind of metal a little bit ’cause that’s how I originally heard those songs in my head especially songs like Mr. Tough Guy, Suicide Or Murder, Time Bomb, Backstabbers, etc.

When I write a new batch of songs, I plan to make a lot more music like that. Songs with aggressive guitar playing and making some rockin’ riffs.

Why is my acoustic playing always pretty tight? It’s how I always played. I can’t help myself. It’s just the way I play. I just play whatever comes out and let the fingers do the talking. That’s what I get from listening to too much rock & metal over the years of my life. I don’t play the acoustic like a country or folk guitarist. I try to play that way but each time I pick up the acoustic guitar, I always want to rock on it. I’m not the type of acoustic guitar player that will be looked at as a folk singer if you know what I mean. I want to be a rock n’ roller. I wrote dark lyrics to my songs ’cause they were metal inspired… most of ’em.

I may listen to all kinds of music but rock, metal and prog would always be my main genres. Although I’m trying to get into jazz and blues more too and I have.

I’m a big fan of ballads and slow songs yes but mostly I just wanna rock most of the time. That’s how I am. I just don’t really want to sit there and write sad songs and love songs. Not me. I still do love writing ballads but mostly I want to rock out.

You can play rock & metal riffs on the acoustic guitar just like you can with the electric. On the acoustic, you may never be able to get distortion through it but you can still rock on the acoustic for sure. Like I said before most people look at the acoustic guitar as a country and folk instrument. I look at it as a rock instrument. The reason I play a lot of rock on the acoustic is ’cause I don’t have a band really. That’s why I write rock songs on acoustic first.

I am having plans in forming a band of my own someday ’cause I want to rock with an electric guitar.
