Report: Joe Francis proven innocent in underage girl case…

Joe Francis, the “Girl’s Gone Wild” honcho, was found innocent in court, after 4 young women accused him of ruining their lives while filming them topless in videos.

Read more here at, TMZ.

I know some people will still call Francis a sick pervert and all, but I’m going to side with him. When will the women ever be trouble and not Joe? I’m willing to bet these 4 women set him up, just to make him look bad. Those women were hoping to get a payday out of Joe for this, like he said. Could Joe sue them in return for a little payback? I wouldn’t be surprised….

BREAKING NEWS: Arnold finally announces his first big screen movie role since leaving governor’s office, he will star in action film titled, “The Last Stand”…

See? Arnold knows what his fans want. Arnold first announced a TV show which will be a cartoon character, “The Governator”, now Arnold has announced his first live action movie for the big screen since he left the Governor’s office. Arnold will star the leading role in an action thriller, titled, “The Last Stand”. Yes, Arnold will STAR the leading role. Not a cameo. He will be throughout the entire movie this time! 🙂

“The Last Stand”, will be directed by Jee Woon Kim. The film will be about a cartel leader who breaks out of a courthouse, and speeds to the Mexican border. The only thing standing in his way is a bordertown Sheriff and his inexperience staff.

The Hollywood Reporter, reports.

So Arnold’s playing the cartel leader and he’s being hunted down by the Sheriff and his gang? Sounds like Rambo to me. I’m glad Arnie starring in an action film first though. That’s what his fans have been wanting him to do from the very beginning, come back with an action film with him starring in the leading role.

I’m sure Arnold will come back with huge machine guns, his cigar, and making up some memorable catchphrases in that film. Congratulations to Jee-Woon for getting Arnold first before any other director. I’m pretty sure a lot of big name directors tried to get Arnie first.

Hopefully, “The Last Stand” will be a hard R rating with a lot of violence. Go back to old school, Arnie, again, yeah!

Edit to add: This is also a very good chance Arnold will have a leading role for “The Expendables” sequel too.

The entertainment industry, keeping Johnny Cash’s legacy alive…

These days you hear Johnny Cash’s music everywhere. You heard “God’s Gonna Cut You Down” on the “True Grit” movie trailer and you heard the Undertaker use, “Ain’t No Grave” for his new theme song. You also heard Johnny Cash’s music in many TV commercials too. I love how they are keeping Johnny’s legacy alive.

Johnny maybe gone, but it certainly feels like he is still alive, when you keep hearing his music everywhere. People still deserve to know who Johnny Cash is. People of today’s generation wouldn’t know who he is (especially the young generation), but of course, the only people who would know who Johnny is are the longtime country fans. Continuing to play Johnny’s music in the media will help him get a new generation of fans.

Johnny deserves this and this is what he would have wanted.

Wrestling topics getting more popular in this blog…

For the past couple of weeks, all my wrestling posts in this blog have been getting the most views lately. It’s usually like that around Wrestlemania time, people will start looking at blogs and google for Wrestlemania information.

Why do I enjoy talking wrestling so much? It’s just my way of trying to get new people into it. My way of trying to get people to respect the wrestling business. That’s why in Facebook, twitter, and this site, you see me talk about wrestling so much. People have criticized the wrestling business so much. There are still people out there that don’t watch wrestling yet they still talk negative about the business. You know the usual attacks people make about the wrestling business: “they are a bunch phonies fake wrestling”, “they’re just guys in undies in the ring”, “wrestling is gay porn”, “wrestlers are a bunch of steroid monkeys”, etc. You know the deal. When people make those attacks, I’ll have no problem telling them that what they say is wrong and you can betcha I will defend the wrestling industry.

These wrestling guys NEED TO BE RESPECTED! I look at wrestling as theatre, that’s what they are. Theatre performers like in Broadway. These guys work very hard, traveling on the road 280 days a year, with no seasons off. These guys don’t have much time for themselves and they’re willing to be away from their families for a long time to perform in front of thousands of fans. That’s why they need to be respected. If people will continue to talk shit about wrestling, then they must watch MTV reality shows or soap operas or something.

I love the wrestling business. I may not like certain storylines or wrestlers but I will always support the wrestling industry 100%. They’re good at what they do, better than anybody. If people hate wrestling, then they have to look at some of the fake stuff they enjoy watching like, “American Idol”, “The Biggest Loser” or “Survivor”, I can’t stand those shows and I know they are very popular. Wrestling is where all the true talent is, in my opinion. The wrestling industry has a lot of guts to do what they do, and I respect them for that.

Band in a Box software…

So a couple of weeks ago, I ordered, “Band in a Box” software. Finally got it. Been waiting for 3 or 4 weeks to get it. I’ve been looking for a good MIDI software program and I think this is the one. The one I’m looking for. I installed it today and messed around with it, for a bit. It’s a pretty nice program. I like it so far.

What did I get this for? For a variety of reasons. I got it so I can add band backup to my songs. I also got it so I can use it for good practice soloing lead guitar with. I also got it for “ear training” which is also good for. Plus, I plan to use this software to make instrumental music for my videoblogs.

I know I purchased, “Music Creator 5”, a long while back, but I thought that was a shit program, didn’t like it too much and wanted something even better. I think “Band in a Box” is better.

I just got “Band in a Box”, so this software will take a lot of learning to do. I’ll get good at it as time goes along. I’m excited to have this program and hopefully it won’t be a disappointment. This was pretty pricey software, $99, it was. I’ll be messing around with it tonight. Probably all weekend too.

I’ve been interested in “Band in a Box” for a long time. Finally got it.

BREAKING NEWS: Javier Bardem closing deal to star as Roland “The Gunslinger” Deschain for Ron Howard’s “Dark Tower”…

Not too long ago, Ron Howard and Universal Pictures offered Oscar winner, Javier Bardem, the leading role to star as Roland “The Gunslinger” Deschain for Stephen King’s “Dark Tower” film that Ron Howard is directing. It seems that Javier is accepting the role because he is closing the deal. Brian Grazer’s, Image Entertainment, will be producing the film along with Akiva Goldsman and Stephen King himself.

The film will have 7 movies and TV series in between each film. Will Javier stay committed to doing all that? That’s a lot of acting.

Deadline, reports.

I know many people will give this casting choice mixed opinions, but I like it. I think Javier will nail the role with no problem.

Now they’ll have to cast someone for Suzanne and Eddie Dean, and the little boy, Jake.

Steve Carell question…

I like Steve Carell and all, huge fan of the guy but one thing that always confused me about him is the way he dresses in film and on TV. Is there ever a time where he don’t look like this smart professional looking rich guy? Does he always wear a suit and neck tie everywhere he goes? In almost every film he did, he looks like this too. It seems he has the same look everywhere you see him. I guess this is what makes him famous for.

Report: Walter Hill in negotations to direct Stallone’s next action movie, “Headshot”…

Walter Hill, the director of such movies as, “48 Hours/Another 48 Hours”, “Trespass”, “Undisputed”, etc. is in talks to direct Sylvester Stallone’s next action movie, “Headshot”. Director, Wayne Kramer, stepped out last week.

Stallone’s next action flick, “Headshot” will be about a New Orleans Hitman (which Sly will play), which he will team up with a young NYPD police officer in a high stakes investigation that leads in the dingy back alleys of New Orleans all the way to the powerful corridors of Washington, D.C.

Deadline, reports.

Yep, so this is Sly’s next film after, “The Expendables”. I wonder who’ll play the young police officer? They should get Mark Wahlberg or Ethan Hawke. If they get Shia Labeouf or Justin Timberlake, it’ll be a wait to DVD film for me.
