Kennedy Center honorees show to be aired on CBS, Dec. 26th…

President Obama will host the Kennedy Center honors show at the White House, which happened today, but will be aired on TV, Dec. 26th. Be sure to mark your calendars for that one. See the full article, here.

One thing that got me scratching my head, is what Robert said here,

Plant told The Associated Press he plans to continue traveling the world and wants to make new music along the way.

“If anybody wants to write some new songs, I’m game to write songs,” he said.

Did Robert just hint that he may write new songs with Led Zep?

Maybe he wasn’t referring to that, but it certainly seems like it. I’m sure that got other fans scratching their heads too. They may not go on a full tour, but that’s still not stopping them for making a new record. We’ll wait to see what they say on Letterman tomorrow night.

Led Zeppelin to appear on David Letterman this Monday night… but will they talk or just perform??? Or both…

The reason Led Zeppelin is appearing on Letterman this Monday night, is not only to help plug in the “Celebration Day” BluRay/DVD/CD release, it is also because Letterman is being honored at the Kennedy Center today too, along with Zeppelin.

We ALL know Letterman is going to ask them about an upcoming tour, and maybe Led Zeppelin will finally squash the tour speculation. Still though, the band could confirm a tour by saying, “Yes, we’re doing it”, out of the blue, just to put out an unexpected surprise. They could be keeping that confirmed tour top secret from us, all along, but I doubt it, though. So don’t get your hopes up. They’re probably gonna deny a tour, again for the 100th time. They’re probably just gonna talk about the Cebebration Day release, the Kennedy Center honors, and the career of Led Zeppelin.

Of course, there’s a possibility, they might perform on television too, so keep our fingers crossed on that.

Report: Stephen King’s “Under The Dome” will get aired on CBS as a 13 episode TV series…

The Stephen King and Steven Spielberg collaborated TV show, “Under the Dome”, which will be adapted from King’s novel, was going to get aired on Showtime, but the crew behind this project, felt that cable wasn’t right for this and they made an official deal with CBS to get it aired on there instead. It will be a TV series, not a mini-series. The 1st season will be 13 episodes and there will be more seasons. “Under the Dome” is a science fiction novel that is over a thousand pages long, and yes, I’ve read the whole thing. It’s a really great book, and I would suggest you all to read it if you’re a King fan.

The article says, that this isn’t going to be a re-telling of the same story, it’s going to be a TV friendly version. So you can expect them to leave so much out and change things around a lot. Only thing though, Stephen King on TV is usually garbage. I’ll admit that “Bag of Bones” with Pierce Brosnan, was absolutely horrible.

Hopefully, they redeem themselves this time and make this show a good one. I’ll watch the first episode of “Dome”, to see how it is. If I don’t like, next please. “Dome” is a really amazing book, I couldn’t put this down and I hope they don’t ruin the story.

I wonder whose going to be playing Barbie Barbara (yes, a male character) and “Big Jim” Rennie? The two main characters of the story.

I wish them luck on this project. If they can last a full season and get a lot of ratings, I’d be surprised. I’m kind of skeptical Spielberg producing “Dome”, because his dinosaur show, “Terra Nova” only lasted one season.

See the story, here.

Walking Dead last night ****SPOILERS****

Well, I was kind of disappointed in last night’s “Walking Dead”. Remember, how I keep teasing that the Governor was going to do something horrible to Michonne but I wasn’t gonna say what it is? It was taken from the books and I wasn’t sure if they were going to use it for the TV show or not.

Let me explain below with Spoiler warnings!!! Do not read if you haven’t seen the episode yet.

If you haven’t seen it and curious on what it is, anyway, don’t yell at me, ’cause you’re the one that read it.

**********************SPOILER WARNING*************************
*******************************************************************************
*******************************************************************************
*******************************************************************************
**********************DO NOT READ HERE************************

In the books, there was a point where Michonne sliced one of the Governor’s ears off with her sword. So in retaliation, the Governor held Michonne captive in one of his garage’s similar to the one you saw on the show last night. He had both of her arms chained up. The Governor raped, and tortured Michonne, while Glen listened to her next door. Then he used her for one of his zombie fight arena shows that he has. Later on, Michonne was able to escape.

Instead, on the TV show last night, The Governor ends up keeping Glen and Maggie captive. Glen was in one room and Maggie in the other. The Governor, came pretty close to raping Maggie but he stopped, as if it was a warning kind of thing.

I’m not sure if this season is planning to use the big Michonne vs. the Governor feud that was in the books for the TV show. Keep in mind, we still have the 2nd half of Season 3. So maybe the almost rape on Maggie was just a little preview of what’s coming up. Setting up for the big Governor vs. Michonne feud.

All of this season was not just adapted from book 3, they’ve been taking a lot of stuff from book 3, 4, 5, and 6. So much they left out, and changing the story around some.

I’m not quite sure if the rest of season 3 will use the Michonne rape and torture storyline or not. I’m hoping they will ’cause it will be a bit too controversial for TV. It will help the show get higher ratings, and it will sure as hell get everyone talking.

Remember I keep saying on this blog, that the Governor is not gonna be a nice guy? TOLD YA SO!!!!!!! 🙂

1st half of this season may be good, but if they use the Michonne rape stuff, the 2nd half will be even better.

The media will always shove Justin Bieber in our faces as long as he’s alive… or even dead…

I know how much everyone is getting sick of Justin Bieber in the media and seeing him everywhere, I am too, but the media will always hype Justin Bieber until he’s dead. Or worse, they’ll keep hyping him after his death just like they constantly do with Elvis Presley or Michael Jackson. Justin Bieber is never going away no matter what happens. I used to have no problem with Bieber, but like everyone else, the media hype over him is starting to drive me crazy too. Justin will keep doing the music thing until the day he dies. Of course, as he gets older, I’m sure he will switch genres ’cause I can’t see him doing pop music when he’s 50.

I didn’t watch the AMA’s last night. I got better things to watch on Sundays like “Dexter” and “Walking Dead”. I’m all fed up with music award shows. They are garbage, all of them. Like most people, I hate how today’s industry is. It’s hard to find good music lately. Pop music is still taking over the mainstream, and it’s sad really. I don’t like it. Although, I’ll admit that I am a fan of Lady Gaga, Adelle and Katy Perry, that’s about it but most pop music today is garbage.

The only good mainstream and commercial band who plays real instruments are, Mumford & Sons. They are very talented and phenomenal songwriters. I love their album, “Babel”. That’s probably the best thing going in today’s industry.

Today’s industry continues to get worse and worse as you can see. I hate it myself. I don’t post about Bieber here anymore for a reason ’cause it’s just giving him more attention, I just had to rant about it just once. Bieber isn’t going away anytime soon folks. We’ll have to put up with him, whether we like it or not. He’s just like Britney Spears or Lindsay Lohan. Everything he does, it have to be huge news. Pathetic. I’m sure you guys will finally agree with me on a post for once. So enjoy.

Walking Dead – Season 3 thoughts so far…

I’m really liking “Walking Dead – Season 3” so far. It’s an impressive season. Last Sunday’s episode was pretty amazing and it’s going to be interesting to see what’s going to happen this Sunday. I like the whole story with Michonne, The Governor, Andrea, and Merle. I love how they’re giving Merle more screen time. Awesome.

I’m not trying to give any spoilers, but just a tiny hint, while Michonne is a bad ass character, what’s about happen to her is not gonna be so good. I’m not saying she’s gonna get killed off but in the books, the Governor is not gonna treat her so kindly. I’m not sure if they will use that stuff for the TV show, but I’m hoping. Not gonna say what they do to her, but something bad is gonna happen to Michonne.

As for last Sunday’s ending, when Rick answered the phone call in the prison, some may say it was hallucination, but it could be an actual call too. I think we may see a Morgan Jones return ’cause I believe that’s who that was in that phone call, just my prediction, not a spoiler. “Season 3” started off as a let down, but got better as it went along.

Daryl’s a badass like usual. I can’t wait to see what’s gonna happen when Daryl reunites with Merle and go face to face with each other for the first time. Will Daryl rejoin Merle and turn on Rick? Or will Daryl stick with Rick and fight against his own brother? It’ll be interesting to see what’s going to happen.

I think the Governor is a great character, and David Morrissey, the guy who plays him, is a phenomenal actor.

Yeah, I’ve been reading the “Walking Dead” books, but I only read the first 6 of them. I need to read the rest of them, and will get back into collecting the “Walking Dead” books soon. They are using a lot of stuff from the books this season.

The first 9 minutes of JJ Abrams “Star Trek Into Darkness” will debut in Imax 3D – Dec. 14th…

If you have an IMAX movie theater nearby, you may get the chance to see the trailer of the next Star Trek movie directed by JJ Abrams, “Star Trek Into Darkness” in Imax 3D. They will also show the first 9 minutes of the film. If they are willing to show the first 9 minutes of the film, there’s gotta be something serious, they want to show off. Maybe this will be the confirmation, whether or not Khan will be the main villain? Anyhow, I’m sure somebody will bootleg the footage with an Iphone or something, so it’ll land on youtube the day after.

More on the story, here.

I’m a huge Star Trek fan, a Trekkie as some of you know. The Trek shows I mostly liked was the original, TNG, and Voyager. I didn’t really care for “Deep Space 9” or “Enterprise” but maybe I’ll re-watch them on Netflix soon. I want to re-watch all Star Trek series on Netflix soon anyway. I already re-watched the original Star Trek on there. I’ll start re-watching the Next Generation after I catch up with “Sons of Anarchy”.

Back to Star Trek, I wish they would reunite the Next Generation cast and do another film but I don’t see that happening anytime soon, sadly. The TNG cast deserve to go out with one last great film. Something better than, “Star Trek: Nemesis” which was alright but nothing special.

Report: Macgyver movie is finally on it’s way to the big screen with James Wan in talks to direct, will Richard Dean Anderson return?

“Macgyver” was one of my favorite TV shows of all time. I was pretty obsessed with the show when I was a kid. It was pretty addicting and loved it too much. I plan on re-watching this show on Netflix soon ’cause the show is streamable, I believe. Well, New Line, is moving forward on the “Macgyver”, big screen movie, and horror film director, James Wan, is in talks to direct. James Wan, is mostly known for doing horror films but looks like he wants to do something different for a change. It’s not yet know if Richard Dean Anderson, the star of the TV, will return as Macgyver for the movie version, but there are hopes. I hope Richard will say yes, to reprising his role. That would be great if he came back.

Although, it wouldn’t surprise me if the movie version will have a different actor playing the Macgyver character, much like, “The A-Team” movie having different actors. I hope they don’t go down that direction, but all we can do is cross our fingers and pray if, Richard Dean Anderson, will return. That will be amazing if he did. I’m all for him coming back as this character.

Variety, reports.

About last Sunday’s “The Walking Dead” ****MAJOR SPOILERS****

I was going to talk about last Sunday’s “Walking Dead” shocker, but I didn’t want to talk about spoilers right away, so I waited a few days. I’ll talk about the topic with a Spoiler warning.

*******************************************SPOILERS BELOW********************************

I’m not surprised they killed off Lori. I’ve always hated that character ever since she first appeared on the show. I’m not the one to talk like this to women, but she was a real bitch and a cunt. She treated Rick and Carl both like crap ever since they reunited with Rick in Season 1. Lying to them about her affair with Shane and all kinds of stuff. Plus, Lori was a loudmouth drama queen. Almost complaining and whining about everything, if things don’t go her way. She even treated Shane like garbage too. Not only this character was annoying, her speaking voice was horrible and she’s not that good looking, anyway. Good riddance. They should have killed her off a long time ago.

Although, I disagree with them killing off, T-Dog. They should have kept his story going. I wanted T-Dog to live and cross path with Merle again. T-Dog left the key to Merle’s cuffs on the roof of that building, and I wanted Merle to be able to confront T-Dog about it. Would have been a cool storyline, but that’s not gonna happen now.

Anyway, I’m liking Season 3 so far. I’m glad they’re using Merle more. Glad Merle is getting more screen time. Michael Rooker is a talented actor, I’ve always admired him. I can’t wait for Merle and Daryl to go face to face for the first time. Plus, the Governor is a great character. I like what they’re doing with Andrea and Michonne too.

This Season is getting pretty interesting.
