BREAKING NEWS: Max Weinberg…it’s confirmed, he’s done with Coco…

Max Weinberg, E Street Band drummer and longtime sidekick for Conan O’ Brien, Max announced he won’t be going to TBS with Conan. He’s done. No one knows why Max split with Conan. Steven Van Zandt, an E Street Band guitarist, doesn’t even know why either.

Lets hope that all this drama between Conan and NBC didn’t give Max, a headache. Either that, or Max wants to move on to other music opportunities? Maybe he wants to drum for Springsteen full time? Maybe Max has his own side project that he wants to get out there in the music world.

Honestly, I’m kind of glad he’ll be moving on. He’s too talented for TV and he should be drumming for other bands out there. I’m sure Max got big music plans up ahead of him.

BREAKING NEWS: Jeff Zucker was fired from NBC, he didn’t quit…

There, how does it feel like to be fired now, asshole? Reports going around that Jeff Zucker was fired by Comcast, since Comcast took over NBC studios now.

Read the article here at, deadline.

Keep in mind, that this was the sleazy douchebag who kicked, Conan O’ Brien off of NBC. Jeff was the one who started all this drama with Conan. Good fucking riddance! It’s about time! Conan is probably celebrating, raising a glass of champagne in the air.

This is great news!

Cool Video: Katy Perry too “Hot N Sexy” for Sesame Street…

The internets is angry the fact that Sesame Street pulled this video off ’cause Katy Perry showed too much cleavage. While I’m a huge fan of Katy Perry’s music, I agree with the snub. Why did PBS feel the need to yank it off? I mean look at her. She looks like a porn star in that video. I think the part that got to parents is, if you watch it at 1:13, Katy holds a stuffed Teddy Bear. She holds the Teddy Bear so close to her breasts, causing them to bounce when she runs with it. Kids don’t need to be seeing stuff like this especially little toddlers.

Joaquin Phoenix on Letterman last night, quick thoughts…

So I watched Joaquin Phoenix on Letterman last night. It was quite interesting. He too admitted this whole thing is a fake, and an act for a documentary movie. Joaquin cleared this all up on why him and Casey Affleck are doing this film. Joaqin explained this movie, “I’m Still Here” is supposed to be like a TV reality show, like what you see in most reality shows on TV these days. Joaquin and Casey’s goal with the film, was that they wanted to trick people that this was real when it isn’t. Joaquin came out on the stage, all clean shaven and haircut like in the picture you see above. Joaquin knows that this rap character is going to give him a beat down and he admits the controversy. He apologized to Letterman for the act, but Letterman said he wasn’t offended and said the whole thing was a lot of fun. Letterman joked that he wants to be paid because he was in the movie for 5 minutes ’cause of the first Letterman appearance with Joaquin.

It seems that Casey and Joaquin agreed to give up this rap gimmick ’cause I guess too many people started to see it was fake. In my opinion, they didn’t need to give it up, they should have kept it going. I thought the whole rap gimmick thing was great comedy. The reason for the apology was that it was a good way to end this whole thing. All of this was scripted like a WWE thing. Joaquin Phoenix did a great job promoting himself as an actor this way. He wasn’t that well known in the past, but now because of this rap gimmick, created controversy, the dude’s even bigger than he was before.

Sometimes controversy, negative backlashes and bad publicity can actually be great. I’m never offended when I get a negative backlash from the public, as I actually love it all. This stuff actually helps promotes you and gets you more well known.

“Undercovers” premiere, brief review…

So I just saw, NBC’s new primetime show, “Undercovers” created by JJ Abrams. Just wanted to give it a quick review. The show was pretty cool. I actually liked it. I hope the show does well and hope it will stay on for another season or two, if the first season does well. The show stars, Boris Kodjoe and Gugu Mbatha-Raw. It’s about a married couple who are CIA agents, they both get a job on trying to find a missing man that was kidnapped. The show had action, it was pretty violent to be shown that early in the hour, plus the show was too sexy to be shown in 8 p.m. In my opinion, I think the show should be aired later at night, due to violence and sex. There’s no nudity of course, but it does show a half naked woman in lingerie throughout most of the first episode. The show had a James Bond and Jason Bourne feel, except this show is starring black people. I thought the show was entertaining and I’ll probably watch it every Wednesday night.

Brock’s thoughts on the new American Idol judges…

So I watched the webcast earlier this afternoon on the A.I. website. Went on there and there was no sound through like half of it. Just proves that American Idol fucking sucks. They promote this press conference, heavily. So many people get on there and there is no sound. WTF? Losers!

Would J-Lo and Steven Tyler help the American Idol ratings for next season? No. The show would simply flop, simply because of no Simon Cowell. The show can’t be successful without him. They’ll tank, trust me. I once had so much respect for Aerosmith, back in the 70’s and early 80’s. Aerosmith became a joke when they became too mainstream in the 90’s…but they came back and I started respecting the band again when they released, “Honkin’ On Bobo”, (an album full of blues covers) ’cause that was a good album that I actually enjoyed. I think the only reason Steven agreed to do Idol, is because he has a solo album coming out soon and he figure the show will help plug him the album. Look at J-Lo in the picture, she doesn’t look good. I can’t stand J-Lo, she’s not hot and just an annoying woman.

Even if I hate American Idol, I’ll watch the next season for a little bit, just to see how Steven Tyler does. I tell you right now that this will mess up Aerosmith’s career. Steven went on the press conference and accused the rest of the band being jealous of him when Joe Perry slammed him for doing the show. Um, no Steven, no one is jealous of anyone here. The reason Joe Perry slammed you because he wants you to concentrate on Aerosmith where you truly belong, not being involved with some stupid karaoke contest.

Like I said, no matter who takes over Simon, the show can’t be done without him. Simon created a legacy with the show. No one wants to see the show without him, no matter who’s the new judge. Hopefully Steven’s job on American Idol won’t last long. I’m sure he’ll end up drinking and doing pills again that will force him to get off the show at some point, just give it time.

Report: Elvira coming back to TV? Well sort of…

Elvira is returning to her roots. The halloween queen is set to go back to her Movie Macbare series back in the day but…this won’t be shown on national TV. It’s going to be aired on KDOC-TV, a local independent TV station based in the Los Angeles area in Cali.

I used to think Elvira was smoking hot back in those days. Not sure, how she’s going to look now because Cassandra Peterson (the same woman who’s played the character for years) is now 59 years old. I’m sure she can still play the character well, but not sure how good she is going to look now?

Thought: See what “Friday Night Lights” is doing to it’s cast?

“Friday Night Lights” is such a popular TV show that it’s giving the show’s cast members bigger opportunities for bigger film roles. Want some examples?

Taylor Kitsch landed a role as Bandit for “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” and now he’s filming the leading role in “Battleship”. Connie Britton got herself a big role as Dr. Holbrook in the “Nightmare On Elm St.” remake. Kyle Chandler recently just got a leading role for JJ Abrams sci-fi flick, “Super 8”.

I’m sure big movie roles will happen to other FNL cast members too. I’m sure big movie role opportunities will come for Minka Kelly, Aimee Teegarden, Zach Gilford, Scott Porter, and Adrianne Palicki as well. The whole FNL cast are talented actors, they’ll all get big movie careers up ahead. They already shot, FNL Season 5, that’s why some of them are already working on films.

Thought: Brock doesn’t think Steven Tyler is judge for American Idol…

So two new American Idol judges will be announced this coming Wednesday. We all know Jennifer Lopez is going to be one of them. Even though Steven Tyler kept reportedly saying he’s confirmed, there hasn’t been anything official on Steven yet. I don’t know if Steven is going to be the judge, because I think Joe Perry and the guys in Aerosmith are trying to talk him out of it. Why? Because if Steven joins American Idol, that would take his time away from, Aerosmith. I’m pretty sure Steven’s not going to be judge, 100% sure of it. It will be someone else instead of Steven. If Steven was signed as American Idol judge, it would have already been announced earlier this week. Steven needs to concentrate on Aerosmith, that’s where he belongs. A.I. is not for Steven, that’s not where he needs to be.

If I’m wrong that Steven is going to be announced as judge Wednesday, then my bad, but I’m pretty sure I’m right on this too. If it is Steven, I would never support him and Aerosmith again. Seriously.

Cool Video: Dolph Lundgren sings and dances to Elvis live on stage! Yes this is for real!

Dolph Lundgren, the action hero, recently hosted a Swedish yearly TV event called, “Melodifestivalen”. It’s a music competition similar to “America’s Got Talent/Idol” but different. Read more on, “Melodifestivalen”, here.

Many movie fans don’t know this, but other than being an expert martial artist and movie star, Dolph’s other passion is music. He was a musician before he became famous for movies. Dolph always loved to sing and play the drums. He’s got to show off his musical talent in his directed action movie, “Command Performance”, but never live on the performing stage. Dolph finally gets his opportunity to perform live.

Here he is, singing and dancing to Elvis’s “A Little Less Conversation”. He’s a badass in this video and does a good job. Just shows he would make a good host for the Oscars this coming year although I know he would never make it but it would be cool if he did host the, Oscars. Enjoy this video and have a laugh! Dolph sings good, I’m surprised!
