Report: “Midnight Run” sequel is greenlighted and Robert Deniro agrees to return!!!

The 1988 action comedy “Midnight Run” has been greenlighted to make a sequel, announced Universal Pictures. The film starred Robert Deniro and Charles Grodin. Deniro already agreed to return but it is unclear for now whether or not, Charles Grodin will return.

Lets hope so, ’cause there cannot be a “Midnight Run” sequel without Charles Grodin. Hopefully, Grodin will agree to reprise his role as “The Duke”. Grodin is 74 years old now, but I’m sure he still has the good acting chops to be able to play the role still. If he doesn’t agree the leading role, hopefully a small role for Grodin at least. If Grodin won’t be in it at all, then I’m not interested. I loved “Midnight Run”, it’s a great film.

Report: Tobiaz got mugged in Pittsburgh!!

Check it out…I’ve tried to warn Tobiaz that not everyone is going to be his friend out there in his travelling adventures. I’ve also tried to warn him plenty of times that he will become a victim of a crime whether it’s getting mugged or whatever, but guess what folks? The Iaz, just got mugged. In this blog, he was with someone that claimed was his friend and that so called “friend” snatched money from his wallet. Pretty much most of his cash stolen.

I told him, but he didn’t listen to me.

As you see in that blog, him getting mugged like that is still not making him come back home ’cause he just said that is not enough to make him come back home. If he stays there, the mugging will keep happening. It will get worse for Iaz. It’ll be more than just his wallet being snatched. Maybe even get beaten and get thrown in the alley ways.

I don’t think Tobiaz will ever catch the guy that stole cash from him with the police. Something like that is usually very hard to do. You need a very good description and good look at the thief in order to report it to the police. The police usually don’t do much about that stuff unless you got some kind of proof.

Toby getting his wallet snatched is only the beggining for him and like I said, it will get worse, if he continues to stay out in the street like that with all that cash he has. You stay out in the streets like that with a lot of cash, you’ll attract a lot of thieves and muggers. He didn’t think anything like this would happen, now he’s starting to learn.

Well, I just got done watching the Oscars. It was a very good show. I enjoyed it pretty much, all the way through. Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin were actually very funny. I actually had some giggles and laughs. I’m happy with most of the winners.

I’ve been predicting for a long time that Kathryn Bigelow was going to get Best Director, and the “Hurt Locker” was going to get Best Picture, and I was right. Kathryn was victorious tonight. I’m happy James didn’t get anything this year.

My favorite parts of the Oscars tonight was seeing the tribute to the legendary director, John Hughes. That was very touching and sad. It was great seeing Macaulay Culkin on stage, we haven’t seen Macaulay in public in years. It’s nice to see Macaulay come out of hiding for once. Another thing I loved about the Oscars was that they showed a tribute to “Horror” films which is about time. The “Horror” tribute was very cool and they did a good job with it.

I enjoyed most of tonight’s Oscars except there was a few dissapointments. I didn’t like Sandra Bullock winning Best Actress, I think Gabby Sidibe deserved it more. I never saw “Precious” but that is Gabby’s first Hollywood movie. That’s why she deserved it. Sandra is such an overrated untalented bitch, she doesn’t deserve the Oscar spotlight at all. I don’t like any of Sandra’s movies and I refuse to watch “The Blind Side”. I do want to see “Precious” though even if I haven’t seen it yet.

It was a good Oscar show. The Academy did a better job than last year.

Thought: In defense of Sean Penn about “critics dying of rectal cancer” comment…

Sean Penn recently had an interview on CBS and he said a controversial comment that is buzzing the world wide web. When asked about critics bashing him about helping Haiti, Sean responded back, “You know, I do hope that those people die screaming of rectal cancer”.

What Sean Penn really said, to keep it simple was he basically told the critics to “fuck off”. Sean Penn maybe a big douche, but for this one time, he gets my respect. He’s doing a really good job helping Haiti. Better than most celebs. Other celebs would just send Haiti money, supplies, etc.

Sean Penn is actually camping out there, saving lives. Sean actually saved a few people who almost died as you saw on TMZ. So yeah, I think that’s a good enough reason that he gets the “ok” from me, in my book. Kudos to Sean. Sean is doing something productive and serious, while people are talking trash about him over here. He’s out there doing something for a good cause and critics would trash him.

I don’t find Sean’s comment in the interview offensive at all ’cause if an interviewer asked me what I think about the critics and haters, I probably would have said the same thing. Sean is actually doing something inspiring and those critics are probably jealous of him, nothing more.  Keep doing your thing, Sean! Rock!

BREAKING NEWS: Dream Theater and Iron Maiden to tour together this summer in the US!!!

This is a dream come true for metal and prog rock fans. Two legendary bands, Dream Theater and Iron Maiden are about to hit the road together for the first time this summer! Better than that, Dream Theater never performed at Madison Square Garden before and they finally get the opportunity. These are two bands that I have loved for a long time! It’s too bad these two bands aren’t stopping by in Albany but NYC is the closest we get to see the show. This is amazing news. I’d certainly would love to see the MSG show in NYC. This is a history making tour!

I’m probably gonna buy Iron Maiden’s new album, “The Final Frontier” too.

Report: See? What I tell ya? James Cameron is all cool with Sacha!

Well, well, well, look at what we have here! It didn’t take long for James Cameron to respond to the Academy on banning Sacha Baron Cohen for making fun of Avatar. Guess what? James is all cool with it! You see, James has a sense of humor.

Lets hope the Academy does the smart thing and change their mind about banning Sacha now that James spoke out! That’s great for James to stick up for the guy, wow! 🙂

Report: Sacha Baron Cohen is no longer presenting at the Oscars, the Academy bans Borat star too…

“The Hurt Locker’s” producer, Nicolas Chartier, is not the only person banned from the Oscars, Sacha Baron Cohen is too. He was robbed from hosting, now he’s robbed from presenting. Why? Because Sacha was going to come out dressed up as the blue Na’vi creatures from the “Avatar”film and the Academy thinks he will offend James Cameron. They’re worried that it might upset James Cameron and might leave the show.

Oh come on, I think James Cameron will find it funny and would laugh. This goes to show that the Academy is afraid of Sacha’s controversial humor. Bunch of cowards. If the Academy knew James well enough, I don’t think he’ll get offended over something small and silly as this. He would know it’s just for humor.

The former star of “Doogie Howser” and the current star of the TV show, “How I Met Your Mother” has just landed the leading role of the upcoming, “Smurfs” live action movie. He will be providing voice overs as a smurf character.

UFC drama in twitter: It’s Jenna Jameson vs. Chuck Liddell…

A little feud heated up in twitter between UFC’s Chuck Liddell and former porn star, Jenna Jameson. How did this drama start out? Well Dana White made a post in his official twitter responding to an MMA article claiming Chuck Liddell got fat again. Dana posted a recent pic of Chuck showing off his six pack abs to prove that Chuck didn’t get fat.

Being dishonest about your musical talent…

If there is one thing that turns me off about musicians, here is one of them. I don’t like how musicians are dishonest with their musical talent. In local unsigned music, you get professionals bashing the amateurs/beginner musicians all the time. It gets old and tiresome to me. It just shows how delusional and egotistical these so called professionals really are. You see, the professionals shouldn’t be putting down the amateurs when they are really the amateurs themselves.

You know, those type of pro wannabe musicians that will go around, thinking they’re the shit, and thinking they’re better than everybody. When the reality is, they don’t know a lot about music that they claim. The ones that think they are the rock stars around the area when the truth is, they are fakes. Don’t get me wrong. I respect all musicians in all level of talent. I support all musicians whether beginner or professional, doesn’t matter to me. What I don’t respect is musicians going around thinking they’re “the best”.

A lot of musicians are afraid to admit “they suck”. They don’t want to admit that truth.

I want to see musicians around here being honest with their talent. If you think you suck, you shouldn’t have to be afraid to be upfront about it. I’m not the best musician in the world, so I’ll be upfront about that. I know there are musicians that are way better than me out there. I don’t think I will ever be. There are even nationally famed musicians out there that admit they suck. I’ve read plenty of times in interviews that Dave Mustaine says he isn’t the greatest guitarist in the world, Neil Young even admitted he sucked. John Mayer admitted he’s a crappy singer in his latest interview with Guitar World magazine.

Why don’t “you” try being upfront about your talent that you’re not really the best you make yourself out to be? It’s not that hard. It’s not like the whole world is going to care. It’s no big deal. Musicians will always think they are the “greatest” no matter the situation. Even if they play out of key or hit the wrong note or if they sing badly, they get all defensive over honest criticism.

You’re not god’s gift to music when so many musicians think they are, it’s crazy. I play music ’cause it’s my passion and my love. Anybody’s welcome to play. If you think your music sounds good and if it sounds good to you, and you’re proud of it, that shouldn’t matter to everyone else. Just enjoy what you do. Don’t lie about your skills. I know a professional when I see one.
