Report: Tom Hanks to get on the director’s chair again for “Larry Crowne”, Julia Roberts to star…

Tom Hanks is finally getting on the director’s chair again, ever since the movie, “That Thing You Do”. Hanks will star the lead and direct, “Larry Crowne” which he also wrote the script for the film. He already signed Julia Roberts to star along with him. This isn’t the first time the two starred in a film together, as they starred together in, “Charlie Wilson’s War”.

Look like Tom Hanks and Ron Howard are finally taking a break from Dan Brown movies to move on to different things.

I’m glad Hanks is directing again. ’cause “That Thing You Do” is one of my favorite films of his. He should direct more ’cause he is talented.

Report: Slash keeps turning down GNR reunion offer, no matter the price…

Former GNR man, Slash, revealed that he kept getting offers from Axl Rose to rejoin Guns N’ Roses, ever since Slash quit. Slash said he wants nothing to do with the band anymore. He’s happy with the legacy Slash created with GN’R from the past. He feels that if he rejoins them will ruin that legacy. Axl kept offering Slash loads of cash to try and talk him to rejoin, but Slash kept turning the offers down, no matter the price.

Good on Slash, indeed. A Guns N’ Roses reunion with the original members should never happen ’cause it would ruin the legacy and Axl is ruining it by continuing on. “Chinese Democracy” was a pretty good album, I liked it, but it should have been an Axl Rose solo album, not under the Gn’R name.

Game Review: Demon’s Souls

So after a couple of month’s of playing this fantasy role playing adventure game titled, “Demon’s Souls”, I finally beat the game today. I’m relieved ’cause this game took me a long time to finish. It was long and challenging.

The story is about you playing the hero, who’s mission to save the Nexus from evil demons that has taken over different worlds. The demon’s were started by a villain named King Allant XII. The King has awakened the Old One, which is a beast under the Nexus. You must destroy each demon in each world to help the people in the Nexus. The Nexus is like a home for the hero to choose which level to start in.

This game is absolutely amazing and insane. The graphics were just phenomenal and beautiful. The action and gameplay were a blast. Although, fighting against enemies can be difficult and frustrating at times, some of the bosses on the levels are easy. There were only like two or three bosses I had a tough time beating but with practice and skill, you’ll get it. The great thing about this game is, you don’t have to beat every level in order, you can choose which level you want to start in. There are all kinds of weapons and armor to choose from. You even use magic spells and miracles. All kinds of weird creatures and knights to fight against. You even have to survive from huge monsters and dragons.

You walk through castles, caves, valley’s, etc. Only thing though, you’ll die a lot. When you die, they make you start the level over again. That’s why this game took me a long time to beat. In order for you to beat an enemy successfully, you must get more strength, faith, dexterity, and other things you buy from the Nexus.

This is a Japanese video game made by Sony and they released it in the US for the Playstation 3 only. I think this is one of my top 5 favorite games in my collection. For you video gamers out there and if you own a PS3, I would recommend this. It’s an excellent game. I hope they make a sequel to this game and they probably will.

Now that I finished this game, I can finally move on to “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2” which I will start tomorrow.

Report: Jimi Hendrix to release “Valleys Of Neptune”…

Since there are only 4 Jimi Hendrix studio albums, now there can be a fifth one. The label plans on releasing an unreleased record titled, “Valleys Of Neptune”. A 12 song album featuring the final sessions of the Jimi Hendrix Experience original members. The label wants people to know that this isn’t a lost album found. It was meant to be released before Hendrix’s death. This was supposed to be the follow up to “Electric Ladyland”.

As a massive Jimi Hendrix fan, and inspiration to my own guitar playing, I’m excited for this. I’ll be buying it when it comes out definitely.

Thought: See? Stone Cold really is a tough SOB in real life…

In WWE, he was well known as the “Toughest SOB”. Now that he broke Sylvester Stallone’s neck in real life, well, that makes Steve Austin a “tough SOB” in real life as well. Stallone is a tough dude as well. Do you think anybody can break Stallone’s neck? No. Austin was somehow lucky to do it to Sly.

I’m pretty sure Austin really doesn’t care if Sly broke his neck in a fight scene with Austin. Austin would think that’s what “Stone Cold” is all about in real life, not in wrestling. He would think breaking Stallone’s neck as an honor for him. So for those who would think Austin may be worried about Sly being hurt, don’t be. I’m 100% positive, Austin LOVED every minute of it. People used to think Stallone is a tough dude, but Austin turned the tables and made Stallone look like a wimp.

The fight scene in the Expendables movie was real between Austin and Stallone. Stallone was willing to get hurt for it to make it look real. From the sound of things, this fight scene sounds fuckin’ brutal and can’t wait to see it. Austin would think of this as a historic moment in his career, breaking a legend’s neck who is responsible for bringing us Rocky and Rambo. Austin doesn’t feel sorry for Sly.

BREAKING NEWS: Sam Raimi and Tobey Maguire both NOT doing Spidey 4!!!!!

Spidey 4, was in development ever since the 3rd one came out. Now it’s turning out that Sam Raimi the director and Tobey Maguire the film’s leading star, are both not doing it. Why? Simply because, Sam doesn’t like the script. He’s been battling the studios to re-write the script for a long while since he hated it so much. Since it looks like the studios refused to re-write the script, Raimi says, “To hell with it, you’re on your own”.

No reason why Tobey Maguire wants out, but my guess, is that he doesn’t want to work on a Spidey movie without Raimi. Columbia Pictures and Marvel Studios plan to re-boot the entire franchise, start it all over again.

This is great news actually. I never liked the Spidey movies to begin with. Now, hopefully Sam will finally start work on, “Evil Dead 4”? Here’s hoping. Crosses fingers!

BREAKING NEWS: Sarah Palin joins Fox news as contributor

Sarah Palin has signed a multi-year deal to Fox news as a contributor. It’s no surprise to me that she will be on TV at some point since she resigned from Governor of Alaska. As a Sarah Palin supporter and fan, I am certainly excited for this. She is controversial and she speaks her mind, no matter the consequences. I’ll be watching definitely!

BREAKING NEWS: Conan O’ Brien confirms he’s leaving NBC and he’s pissed…

I’ve been following this Jay Leno vs. Conan O’ Brien craziness. I’m on Team Conan like a lot of people. I don’t like Jay. Even though Jay gets low ratings and have bad shows as well, NBC will never fire Jay ’cause he’s richer and more powerful like I said. As expected, Conan is pissed and upset that Jay is taking over the “Tonight Show” and getting his old show back. Conan has confirmed he’s going to FOX to do a late night talk show over there. I can understand Conan being upset ’cause he moved his entire studio, the crew, his family to California and it’s a waste of trip. He wants to continue to do late night ’cause its’ what he loves to do. He likes being on TV and entertaining his fans. I hope Conan sues NBC and takes that greedy station to court because this is lawsuit worthy, in my opinion.

Conan worked for NBC for many years and they just stab him in the back. Just proves that TV don’t care about you at all. They only care about two things, money and ratings. That’s it.
