BREAKING NEWS: Anthony Hopkins joins “Thor”…

Who knew that Anthony Hopkins is a fan of comic books? Apparently he is, since he just joined the cast of, “Thor”. Anthony will be playing the King of Asgard. Chris Hemsworth is playing Thor and Natalie Portman will be playing Thor’s love interest, Jane Foster.

Anthony Hopkins is one of my favorite actors. He’s been in so many fantastic flicks besides the Silence of the Lambs trilogy.

Some of my other favorite films he’s been in: “The Elephant Man”, “Meet Joe Black”, “Titus”, and Stephen King’s “Hearts In Atlantis”.

He’s a really good actor.

BREAKING NEWS: Hulk Hogan joins TNA wrestling fed, FULL TIME!!!!

Hollywood Hulk Hogan has officially signed a contract to join TNA wrestling as a fulltime wrestling performer. He’s not going back to WWE but looks like he’s going to TNA instead.

Will we see Hulk Hogan vs. Kurt Angle in a TNA ppv match? Definitely. Will we see Hulk Hogan wrestle against Sting? Sting is still in TNA wrestling so we’ll see that match too.

Keep in mind, Kevin Nash, Hulk’s longtime partner and friend is also in TNA currently. Do we see the nWo reforming in TNA? Possibly!!!

Read more on it here:

I watch TNA wrestling sometimes. Not all the time but once in a while, and sometimes it’s good stuff.

I don’t like the idea of Hogie being over there. I think he’ll destroy that compnay just like he did to WCW and almost did to WWE.

Report: Stone Temple Pilots still plan to record new album and then go on a long tour after…

STP has been one of my favorite bands for years, I still like ’em today. Scott Weiland, and the boys still have plans to record a new album which should be released sometime in 2010. The guys also plan to go on a long tour in support of it.

I’m certainly am looking forward to the new record. I hope their new record will be similar to their first one “Core”. It be nice if they go back to their roots, their grungy and heavy sound.

Michael Jackson’s “This is It” to be a big Oscar winner for 2010?

So is this the reason, Michael Jackson’s “This is It” has been very quickly made this soon just in time for the next Oscars in 2010? The 82nd Annual Oscar Awards is not until March of 2010.

This year’s Oscar awards will include 10 nominations instead of the usual 5.

Movie fans would hate “This is It” to be nominated for almost every category in the Oscars and sweep everything, but I have a feeling that this may happen.

A lot of movies came out this year and I can’t think of any other films that would be Oscar worthy for “Best Picture” other than MJ’s “This is It”.

I have a feeling that the Oscars will be MJ’s year. I’m sure “Inglourious Basterds” and Michael Mann’s, “Public Enemies” might get nominated for Best Picture, but they aren’t worthy enough to win, in my opinion, and I’ve seen both of those movies.

It’s too early to name my Oscar predictions still. Most of the movies came out this year has been popcorn action stuff, not a lot of serious drama films this year.

I will be seeing MJ’s “This is It” sometime this weekend. I think this movie will give Michael Jackson the respect he deserves. Can’t wait to see it.

Report: Billy Bob Thornton and Dwayne Johnson to team up for “Faster”…

Billy Bob Thornton has signed on to star the leading role, that will star alongside, Dwayne Johnson. This film will be an action drama film titled, “Faster”, in which Johnson plays an ex-con out to avenge the death of his brother, while Billy Bob plays a veteran police officer who tries to race against Johnson to find the murderer before he does.

An actor for the murderer (or villain of the film) has not been casted yet.

Variety Reports:

It’s great to see Billy Bob finally back in the movies. He hasn’t had a leading role in a film since 2007’s, “Mr. Woodcock”.

He did say he was going to concentrate on music with the Boxmasters more than movies, so this explains why he’s been staying away from movies more.

Thought: Not everyone is going to be your friend in music…

In the past, I used to think that music was going to be friendly, almost all the time and thinking I was going to make friends with everybody. I am noticing that some musicians out there today even think that still. Many musicians are in it to become part of the community and to make friends with other musicians. If that’s what you’re doing music for, then I think you’re doing music for all the wrong reasons.

Yes, you’re going to meet some musicians that have huge ego problems. Yes, you’re going to run into some musicians with huge temper tantrums, you know, musicians that are real dicks and almost negative, all the time. Yes, you’re going to run into musicians, club owners/promoters that will stab you in the back and deal with a lot of drama bullshit. Yes, you’re going to get people that will hate you and think your musical talent is crap. Blah blah blah, you get the deal.

I’ve dealt with these things over the years in music. Hey, all musicians go through it , they all go through ups and downs, all the time.

I learned that if you want to keep doing what you’re doing, making music and playing live, is to ignore all the bullshit completely. You only care about “you”, and your “music”. Not caring what anybody else thinks. This is the best way to go, if you want to keep going in music.

Don’t be into music to make friends with people in the scene. That’s not what music is all about in my opinion, when a lot of people think it is. I know it sounds harsh and you may think I’m crazy, but you need to think about this. The no. 1 rule is only care about the music that you do, if you want to keep going. Nothing else.

If bullshit gets in your way, let it slide right by immediately and keep going with your music. You don’t have to give up what you do  just because all kinds of negativity gets in the way with it.

You have to be strong and have guts.

Making “friends” with other musicians in the music scene is not the right way to go, in my opinion. To be honest, these musicians don’t even care about you, anyway. They only care about their own playing and the music they do in their band. I clearly think musicians are “using” musicians just to promote their own music by networking with the music community.

Don’t trust anybody and don’t listen to anybody, only believe in yourself. Don’t let the negativity stop doing what you love doing. I’m learning.

“Batman: Arkham Asylum” is the 2nd best game that I own in my collection…

While I still say that “Bioshock” is the best game ever made, I would like to add that “Batman: Arkham Asylum” is the second best, close behind it. I’ve been playing a lot of, “Arkham Asylum”. The game is absolutely incredible. I’m so blown away and speechless by this game. Such a perfect Batman game.

The graphics are amazing, the sound is great, the voice work is also really good, especially Mark Hamill doing the voice over of the Joker which is awesome.

This is the most addicting game I’ve ever played as I’ve been playing it A LOT. When you see that this blog has slowed down a bit, it’s probably because switching back and forth to video games to fitness. Video games is something I do when I take a break and rest from working out.

In “Arkham Asylum”, is actually a very challenging and difficult game, I like it that way. I always play games in the hard/difficulty modes. I’m still getting pretty far in the game already though.

In my opinion, I think “Arkham Asylum” is definitely the best superhero game ever made. There are a lot of superhero games out there, but most of them suck. “Arkham Asylum”  tops them all. It takes a lot of practice to get the hang of the game and know what you’re doing.

I wish the video game industry would make a decent Superman game that is just as good as this, but most Superman video games suck too.

I’ve always been a huge fan of Batman my entire life and still am. In this game you would see a lot of familiar faces. All the popular Batman villains besides the Joker is in this. That includes, Scarecrow, Harley Quinn, etc. Btw, Harley Quinn is voiced by Arleen Sorkin as well. The Riddler does not appear in the game, however, he does leave riddles and stuff leading Batman to some clues.

This game is a must have for all Batman fanatics. If you love Batman and if you don’t have this game yet, what are you waiting for? Get it SOON! You won’t be dissapointed at all. The action and the gameplay is so amazing.

After I beat the game, hopefully soon, I will write more about it.

Amy Winehouse shows off her new implanted breasts…

Is Amy Winehouse one crazy chick or what? Yes, she definitely is and loves to party hard but in a good way though. Amy recently got new breast implants and she’s been showing them off to the paps at the Q Awards show in the UK. I think, she’s definitely drunk and having fun.

Perez Hilton has the pics and they are uncensored:

Even though her boobs are now implanted, she is still hot!
