Cool Video: Casey Desmond puts up unique video with a song titled “Tilt Me Back”…

I once said I was going to start promoting unsigned and indie musicians who post videos in youtube into the blog, and here is the first one.

Casey Desmond a musician from Boston, Mass. just uploaded a video titled “Tilt Me Back”, a music video that looks to be high budget production. The video has people wearing strange costumes and lots of weird things going on in this video. The song itself is very nice and good work itself. I dig the melody of the tune and the way the vocals are sung.

I predict this video will get a lot of hits very quickly. This immediately became one of my favorite music videos by an indie musician in youtube. Enjoy this. It’s a way cool music video, I enjoy the unique style in this.

Report: Big and Rich vs. Danzig match at a hotel…

Lead singer of the country/rock band Big and Rich, John Rich got into a fight with former Danzig/Hell Yeah bassist Jerry Montano at a hotel in West Hollywood, California.

See the reports at TMZ here:

And here:

And another one here:

Here’s how I think the fight went down:

Jerry Montano is just hanging around the Hotel and he saw John Rich walking by.

Jerry: “Dude, are you that singer from that country band, Big & Rich?”

Rich: “Yep, and who are you?”

Jerry: “Why I’m Jerry Montano, I used to play for Danzig years back. Remember the song ‘Mother’?”

Rich: “No, my band wasn’t around back in those days to even know what kind of music that is. I’m a country musician, now if you excuse me, I gotta go.”

Jerry: “Wait wait wait, I just wanted to tell you how much I love your band and wondering if you would like to jam with me sometime.”

Rich: “Sorry, but country and metal doesn’t fit”.

Jerry: “I may be a metal musician but I like country, some of it…”

Rich: “I don’t jam with tattoo’ed long haired punks like yourself. I only jam with cowboys who play tunes for country line dancers”.

Jerry: “I ain’t letting you go until I get my opportunity to jam on my bass with you…”

Rich: “Get the hell outta my way, asshole…”

Report: Mick Foley explains why he jumped to TNA and hints he may wrestle again full time

Hardcore wrestling legend, Mick Foley, explains why he made the jump to TNA instead of WWE. Foley explains there wasn’t much more to do in WWE since he quit wrestling in 2000 and just performed in storylines every once in a while. He goes on saying that he’s been watching TNA wrestling for a while, he’s been liking the TNA shows and thinks he can make a difference by helping that wrestling company instead of WWE.

Foley also hints that he may get into the ring again, says there are 10 wrestlers that he would like to work with.

More on it here:

The 10 TNA wrestlers I can see Foley working with: Kurt Angle, Booker T, Samoa Joe, Sting, Kevin Nash, Team 3D (formerly known as the Dudley Boyz from WWE), Scott Steiner, Rhino, Jay Lethal and Christian Cage.

I do watch TNA wrestling sometimes when there is nothing else on TV at night. I don’t watch it on a regular basis, but sometimes. TNA is just like the next WCW Nitro.

Report: Facebook plans on going music digital but it maybe different than myspace music…

With myspace music launching not too long ago, the other popular networking site Facebook is planning a similar thing but it will be different. The announcement was made by the founder of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg himself. They plan to team up with other song streaming music websites such as imeem.com, rhapsody, ilike, and Lala.

Although this plan is not “definite”, they could also turn down the plan if this doesn’t work out.

This sounds much better than myspace music, I hope it happens.

Report: Jimmy Page does not want a star on the Hollywood “Walk of Fame”…

A die hard Led Zeppelin fan Rocky Dickerson started a campaign where rock guitar legend Jimmy Page could get nominated in getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Rocky Dickerson started the campaign when coming back home in California after attending the Led Zeppelin reunion concert at the O2 last year. When Jimmy Page finally heard this guy is doing a campaign to get a star, Jimmy Page responded and said he does not want his own star, and says Dickerson shouldn’t bother with it.

Good for Pagey. The man is serious about guitar playing and music, he only wants to concentrate on that.

This makes it pretty clear that Jimmy Page just wants to play music, not worrying about fame.

Report: Warner Bros. just shot down “He-Man” live action reboot…

Warner Bros. does not feel the power of the Grayskull. While there were talks in the past of Warner Bros. in negotiations to get the film greenlighted, it failed. There is a few reasons for this. There were plenty of directors in line that were in talks of directing this film, many of the directors loved the script so much that they badily wanted to make but Warner Bros. didn’t like the script that much. Bryan Singer and Doug Liman were two of those directors who were asked to do it, but both of them turned it down.

Another reason that an executive left Silver Pictures, the man who was responsible for bringing “The Grayskull” script to the company.

More on it here:

In my opinion, they should forget Warner Bros. The only reason I think that Warner Bros. is being strict on the He-man reboot is because of the 1987 “Masters of the Universe” film that starred Dolph Lundgren being a box office flop. They are worried that this new He-man reboot that Justin Marks is writing is going to be a flop too.

Yes, someone else will pick up “The Grayskull” movie. Maybe Paramount will pick it up, Dreamworks maybe, Nu/Image Millenium, MGM, Lionsgate, Universal, etc. There are other opportunities.

I’ve said it once before, that even though 1987’s “Masters of the Universe” flopped, I really liked the film very much. The story and script was kinda corny and silly, but other than that, you have to admit that “Masters of the Universe” had some very cool action scenes. And Dolph Lundgren made a perfect He-Man. Frank Langella was so badass as Skeletor.

He-Man deserves another try in Hollywood, Warner Bros. should give the character another chance.

Cool Video: McCain sticking out his tongue at Obama at the end of Third debate…

I never noticed this on the debate last night. SNL this Saturday will not only make fun of the “Joe the Plumber” stuff they will also make fun of McCain picking on Obama toward the end. Forward to 4:23 in the video and you can see McCain doing a little dance and sticking his tongue out at Obama. Obama saw him do that as he walked over to grab his glass of water and he turned around and laughed at him. I can’t wait to see Saturday Night Live’s version of this!!!
