I'm a musician, singer/songwriter, blogger, writer, poet, bodybuilder, movie lover, music lover, video gamer, history/political buff, conservative/republican, etc. I like to do a lot of things.

Hulk Hogan deserves to get respect back and he deserves another chance with WWE, come on Vince!!!

Like everyone else, Hulk Hogan got me into watching professional wrestling; I grew up watching him when I was a kid. As I got older, I lost a lot of respect for the man ’cause I used to believe that he was this big egomaniac who loved to destroy other wrestlers careers and things like that. As years went along, Hulk has been surrounded by a lot of controversy like with the Linda Hogan divorce, the Nick Hogan car crash and next here comes the Gawker sex tape incident.

I used to believe that Hulk Hogan was a piece of shit, but I don’t hate him anymore. Why? Not sure. Guess, I’ve had a change of heart after realizing he really was innocent over all this Gawker stuff. I know I’ve bashed him a lot on my blog but no more.

Whether you love Hulk or hate him, you can’t deny that he really is the Babe Ruth of professional wrestling. Hulk didn’t start the wrestling business, but he definitely did help make it more well-known and famous. Without Hulk, we all wouldn’t have been wrestling fans to begin with; we’re wrestling fans ’cause of him. It’s just sad that his haters will never admit that. There are other professional wrestlers that hate him too, and they don’t realize that they wrestle in the business ’cause of him. There’s no denying that Hulk is a pioneer in wrestling for sure.

Last night on FOX News, I watched the Hulk Hogan special titled,  Objectified, which is a show hosted by TMZ’s Harvey Levin. I’m not a TMZ fan. Never did like them but I thought Harvey Levin did a great job interviewing Hulk Hogan on that show. It was a great show. I enjoyed it a lot. I have even more respect for Hulk now, and he just won my respect back. Like I said, I used to believe that Hulk was this huge egomaniac, but after watching Objectified last night, I was surprised on how humble the man was. Instead of playing innocent victim of his mistakes, he admitted his mistakes and said he wasn’t perfect and all. To those who hate him ’cause of his problems, you need to get over yourselves. Hulk Hogan is human like the rest of us; he showed that he was human on the show last night. All of us are screwed up and messed up in life in some form of another, right? We all go through ups and downs like him.

I’m inspired by Hulk ’cause he keeps going in life despite all the back surgeries he had. I have scoliosis with a metal rod in my back, and Hulk said he has all kinds of metal all over his back too. Despite Hulk’s back issues, he keeps working out in the gym like me. His show last night with Harvey Levin was inspiring. I’ve realized after all these years that Hulk Hogan is actually a very good man. He loves his fans and he’s good with them so why the hate? To all the other wrestlers and fans who hate on him are just bitter and jealous, nothing more. I think other wrestlers who hate on him just wished they had the kind of legacy Hulk has in wrestling.

So does Hulk Hogan deserve another chance in the WWE after being fired ’cause of the Gawker controversy? Absolutely! He does deserve another chance. Vince and Hulk needs to patch things up so Hulk can return to WWE. Hulk deserves one more match. If not to wrestle then Hulk would make a good GM for RAW or Smackdown Live. I remember when Hulk was GM for Impact Wrestling and thought he did a good job. Love him or hate him, Hulk is a legend. You can fire him from WWE, you can take him out of the Hall of Fame, but the one thing you can’t take away is his legacy in the wrestling business. You can’t change history. Hulk had a lot of great matches and a lot of history in wrestling over the years. Admittedly, I grew up watching Hulk  throughout my life.

I definitely would love to go down to Florida, visit his Beach Shop store and hopefully get my chance to meet the man myself ’cause that would be cool. Hulk deserves another chance and forgiveness by WWE and wrestling fans. I believe in “forgive” and “forget” don’t you? I definitely do! Life is too short to hate.

Thoughts on NFL players and other sports refusing to stand to National Anthem…

I’m sure some of you are wondering my thoughts about this whole thing are — NFL stars and other sports refusing to stand for National Anthem. Well, it is definitely something that I abhor for sure, and it is something that nobody should condone. Refusing to stand for the Flag is an affront to those who love America, and it’s an affront to those men & women in uniform who fought for our country over the years. Sports players that do this is a pretty despicable act for sure. They should feel ashamed of themselves, and liberals who defend them should feel ashamed of themselves as well.

Ya know, when liberals defend them, all that is doing is showing their hatred for this country more and more. It’s no surprise to see liberals siding with sports stars who take the knee. Of course, they whine, play innocent victim and scream, “Freedom of Speech” but we also have the “Freedom of Speech” to call you on it. Try to remember that “Freedom of Speech” works both ways, but like usual people keep thinking that “Freedom of Speech” is a one-way street.

Ah well, I stopped watching the NFL a long time ago, so I don’t really need to boycott ’cause I already did. I don’t watch sports on TV at all anymore ’cause I think sports are boring and overrated. I don’t understand the point of getting paid millions to run around with a ball, cars driving around in circles, ice skating around a rink, etc. People find all that fun? That’s not my idea of fun. I got better things to do than watch hours and hours of sports on TV. I would much rather watch pro wrestling, movies and TV shows on TV. Fuck sports. Although, I don’t watch sports, I will always stand up for America and the Flag. I will speak out about it whenever our Flag and our country is being disrespected.

The NFL ratings have gone down, and I’ve noticed the audience at NFL games are getting smaller and smaller too. Interesting how that works, right? If they keep this up, they’ll soon say R.I.P. The NFL will soon come to an end ’cause no one will watch anymore ’cause the NFL is pretty anti-American.

This is sad. The NFL is now equivalent with Hollywood. Just a bunch of liberal anti-American SJW’s just like Hollywood celebrities. Instead of holding sports players accountable they get defended by NFL officials which is sad.

I usually watch the Superbowl every year but I skipped last year’s Superbowl. Didn’t watch it at all… simply because they won’t stay out of politics is the reason. I’ll skip this year’s Superbowl too.

Respect the Flag and the National Anthem… when you don’t, it shows that you hate the country. If you don’t like it here then leave. Nobody’s asking you to stay here.

Correction about my vocal range, it’s actually in the “bass/baritone” range…

vocal-range2-key.jpg

After testing out my vocal range on an actual piano, on C4 after middle C, I can only sing from C – F which is pretty much in the bass/baritone range. Still though, singing from C – F on C4 keys is pretty damn good and it’s getting there to C5 which is my goal. It means I’m almost there to the tenor range which is my goal. My goal in singing is to get to those higher notes. I’m working all I can to get there too and someday I will the more I practice. I don’t think I’ll ever get to “alto” and “soprano”, but I do want to become a “tenor”. At least I got the head voice down pretty well and can sing cleanly which is key to singing good.

I’m not looking to be the best singer in the world, and I probably never will be. I just wanna sing good enough vocals to my original songs… that is all. Maybe I should hire a professional vocal coach but I don’t know any around the area, so I have no choice but to teach myself.

I do love singing, though. It’s one of my favorite things to do. I sing every day. I’ll never give it up.

America’s Got Talent did something right for a change, I’m impressed with Darci Lynne Farmer!!! WOW!!!

I gave up watching, America’s Got Talent, a long time ago. I just lost interest in the show and stopped watching. The 12th season of the show just got over, and the new winner for this season has just been announced. A young 12 year old named, Darci Lynn Farmer, is AGT champion for this year. I didn’t watch this season at all… since the internet have been praising about her a lot, it got me a little curious, so I decided to youtube her and check her out of for myself. She’s a ventriloquist, and she’s also a singer.

I watched a few of her performances in youtube, and I am very impressed. Actually, I was blown away. She gave me goosebumps and makes me want to watch more of her performances. When you watch her perform and you don’t smile at all, I wanna know what’s wrong with you?

AGT haven’t been choosing that many good winners lately over the years at all; maybe the last winner I liked was Jackie Evancho. I haven’t been impressed with many winners over the years. Finally,  here comes Darci Lynne who I’ve just became a new fan of. She’s very enjoyable and likeable.

If she keeps doing what she’s doing, she could be a huge star. After this, she’s probably gonna perform ventriloquist shows on a regular basis; if she goes on tour and performs a show around here, I would totally go. She’s very entertaining to watch for sure.

Congrats Darci! I can see her doing this for a living… performing shows for children and people of all ages.

Linda Hamilton is reprising her role as Sarah Connor…

Linda Hamilton, who played Sarah Connor in the first Terminator and Terminator 2: Judgement Day, is officially returning to the Terminator franchise… the role that made her famous. Linda hasn’t played the character again for about 25 years. T-2: Judgement Day was released in 1991.

James Cameron and Arnold Schwarzenegger are involved in the new Terminator film. The new film is gonna be directed by Tim Miller. How is Cameron being involved? Well he is producing, of course. Cameron will also be involved in writing duties. While the plot and synopsis of the movie are being kept secret, Cameron hints that he wants a young 18 year old female to be the big star of the film. Hamilton and Schwarzenegger would be the co-stars, it looks like.

Looks like the next Terminator film is not gonna have anything to do with Terminator: Genysis. I bet the next film is gonna be some kind of continuation of T-2: Judgement Day. The next film could be a nice third installment of the original trilogy, ya know? It’ll be cool if they could get Ed Furlong back as John Connor if they can and I’m sure they’re gonna try to get him. I’m sure John Connor will still be the vital part of the story.

I’m a huge Terminator fan. Loved all the movies. Yes, I even thought T: Salvation and T: Genisys were great films. I thought Emilia Clarke made a great Sarah Connor; it’s kind of a shame that she doesn’t want to come back to the role.

I’m glad Linda is finally coming back, though. Linda is 60 years old now and that’s how you can tell it might be a continuation after T2: Judgement Day. I’m sure Linda as Sarah Connor will still be the badass tough woman kicking the bad guys asses like she was in Judgement Day. I’m sure Linda can still play the Sarah Connor character well after all these years; I’m sure she still got it!

Trump’s first UN speech as president, we finally have an American loving president who doesn’t take any shit from our enemies!!!

I’ve watched Trump’s first speech at the UN as president yesterday evening, and I was totally blown away. It was indeed, his best speech he ever had. His speeches get better and better each time I watch one. He makes you feel like a proud American, and I definitely feel like one each time I watch one. Libtards and other types of NeverTrumpers wanna keep denying his love for America, but after they watch this speech, I know they’ll have a tough time denying his love for America. So far, haven’t seen them admit Trump’s love for America. Trump really showed it. This is why we elected him as president ’cause we finally have an American loving president for once, and we haven’t had that in decades.

We also finally have a president who doesn’t take any shit from our enemies. Trump threatening Fat Boy Kim was the right thing to do. When Rocket Man Kim wants to do missile tests, that should be taken very seriously, ya know? When will libs and Trump haters understand that Kim Jong-Un is a very bad man? Assad of Syria is also a very bad man and I loved how Trump called  him out in this speech too. Liberals think there is nothing wrong with Fat Boy Kim and Assad but these are coming from the same people who support Iran. Remember now, Iran chants “Death to America”.

When Obama did UN speeches as president, he did nothing but kiss Islam’s ass most  of the time instead of siding with Americans. Obama did nothing but quote from the Quran most of the time during UN speeches. During one of his UN speeches, Obama blamed Benghazi on a video, I’ll never forget that.

It’s so refreshing to go from an Islam loving US president to an American loving president. That’s why we elected Trump to begin with. Trump also cares for other countries, and he showed that at the speech yesterday. Keep  in mind that America first doesn’t necessarily mean, “American alone”… the NeverTrump crowd and Fake Trumpers needs to realize that.

I don’t regret my Trump vote at all. I’m proud we finally have a great president for a change. I’ll proudly vote for him again in 2020.

Remember to always be yourself even if it bothers people…

21740214_10154856724537371_5459098371790521706_n.jpg

For many years, people always had mixed feelings toward me as a person. I’m one of those who you either love or hate, but I’m completely fine with that. There are some out there who are intimidated by the way I am on the internet. Some see me as very “outspoken” and “controversial”. I’ve dealt with that shit for many years online. It’s like, “Oh no, The Brock  is such a trouble maker!”… I’m sure many still feel that way about me but you know what? I don’t care! It’s actually pretty flattering that some think of me this way, though.

No matter what people think of me, good or bad, life is good.

Admittedly, I can be a bit of a loudmouth and “outspoken” person, but I’ve always been like that. I’m a realist. I’m just a guy who tells the truth no matter the consequences, ya know? I never cared if the truth bothered people. I prefer to a be a real person instead of being fake.

A lot people have also criticized me of the hobbies that I have and the things that I like. Yes, I listen to a lot of metal music. I may not look like a metalhead but I am. People would think of me as a fan of country music or pop but I’m not at all. Usually people look at me with astonishment once they find that I like metal and hard rock music.

People criticize me that I like to watch professional wrestling on TV but I don’t care. I like wrestling…. is that such a crime?  I still like to play video games at 40 years old, and a lot of people think it’s childish for a full-grown adult to play video games. Not really. I’ve never grown out of video games and still LOVE them. I also still like to wear rock band t-shirts, and I like to wear shirts with wrestlers on them too. I don’t feel guilty of that. I wear what I want at 40 years old.

As far as my political views go, people criticized me for that too, of course.  Yes, I’m a proud die-hard conservative and a proud die-hard Trump supporter. I don’t feel ashamed for it either, and I don’t feel ashamed for loving my country so much!

This post ins’t just about me. It’s also about you too. I’m just telling you my experiences that you don’t have to change yourself to appease people at all. The thing is, be who you wanna be. I never told people how they should and shouldn’t be at all, but it’s interesting how people think it’s okay for them to do that to me.

Being yourself is the best attitude to have. People may not like you for it but that’s okay, just let them think what they want about you and keep  being you. Some people may not like you, but that’s not the end of the world.

There will be those that will like you for being yourself and respect you for ignoring everyone’s shit. If you’re being criticized by someone all the time then that’s actually a good thing. It means they’re jealous about you of something. You have something they will not have. Some people just want to bring you down to their level and that’s it. If you’re being criticized by someone and if you’re being called an “asshole”, well, you’re not the “asshole”… they are. Chances are, they aren’t happy in life. Those that are criticizing and want you to change are usually people who have lots of problems.

You just gotta stay above negativity and drama. Keep being you is all that matters. Be who you wanna be even if it pisses someone off. That’s the key to enjoying life and being happy. Not everyone is going to like you and that’s okay. You can’t please every damn person on this planet.

RIP: Bobby “The Brain Heenan 1944 – 2017

BobbyHeenan

If you’re a fan of old-school wrestling like myself then chances are, you’ve probably heard the name, Bobby “The Brain” Heenan. He was a wrestling manager and color commentator in the WWE back in the 80’s and early 90’s. He also worked for WCW for a little while.

Bobby Heenan was mostly known as a “heel” aka a bad guy in wrestling. I can’t remember him being, “babyface”? Maybe he was a babyface for a little bit but he mostly played a bad guy performer for most of his career. In the WWE, he mostly managed heel wrestlers such as Andre, Ric Flair and Mr. Perfect most notably. When Heenan was color commentators during matches, he always sided with heel wrestlers and talk trashed to babyface wrestlers.

“The Brain” was a genius performer. He was one of those heel performers who was really good at getting people to boo him, and that’s a heel’s job. Fans hated, “The Brain”, back in those days. It was crazy. “The Brain”, had it all. He had the great mic work, the good looks and the man knew how to dress too.

Without “The Brain”, the wrestling industry wouldn’t have gotten to where it is today. He is a crucial performer in wrestling. The wrestling business and the fans looked up to him over the years. We’ve never forgotten how great of a performer he really was. “The Brain”, really knew how to put on a show, and he knew how to get people excited for matches which was a part of his job.

He was the best in the business. Without “The Brain”, there would have been no Hulk Hogan, Andre the Giant, Macho Man, Mr. Perfect, Ric Flair, etc. “The Brain” got them all over and they got famous ’cause of him.

“The Brain” was a genius, and I loved watching him. Thank you, Bobby.

I’m sure Monday Night RAW tonight will do a little tribute for him.

Trying to sing like a rock & metal singer… it has always been my goal…

I’ve talked about working with, Metal Method’s “Vocal Power”, DVD instruction in the past before. That’s pretty much the only vocal instruction course that I work with but I should get into other instructional DVDs. For a long time now, I’ve been looking at an instructional DVD called, The Zen of Screaming.

Vocal Power is pretty good… I like it a lot, but I could use more.

My goal is to sing like a rock and metal singer. Always has been. Yeah, my goal is to try to get to those high pitch notes. I also want to learn how to scream and do some growling. I also want to sing with some rasp and a little grit. I want to sing in different styles and working all I can to get there.

The thing is, you can sit there and work with all these instructional stuff, doing all these exercises but one vital way in improving your singing is just by singing your favorite songs. Singing a lot of cover songs has helped me a lot over the years in my life.

I sing ’cause I love it. I just love the feeling of the head voice and feeling that buzzing sensation. It just feels real good.

When I first started out years ago, I was shit and never knew what I was doing. Back then, I’ll admit that I never had much of a range. I was singing like I was talking. People kept comparing my voice to Bob Dylan back in those days. To be honest, I didn’t like that comparison so I wanted to step-up and improve my singing voice so people would stop comparing me to Bob Dylan. For a long while now, I haven’t seen much comparisons of my voice to Bob Dylan lately which feels good which lets me know I’m on my way to becoming a pretty good singer. People comparing me to Bob Dylan, that’s when I realized I needed more range so I decided to practice my singing more. Take my singing to the next level.

Still got a long way to go but I’m happy what I have now vocally. I’m honestly starting to love singing more than playing the guitar. Singing is awesome. I teach myself to sing ’cause there aren’t any professional vocal coaches around here. I also learn to sing better by listening to my favorite singers: Robert Plant, David Bowie, Billy Joel, James Hetfield and others. I mainly want to be a rock and metal singer now; I’m tired of acoustic folk music. It’s finally time that I want to rock out and have a blast.

Jamie Lee Curtis will reprise her role as Laurie Strode for the fifth and final time in new “Halloween” movie…

There have been a new Halloween movie in the works for a long while now. It has been announced last year by Miramax and Blumhouse studios with John Carpenter executive producing the film. The new Halloween film will not be a reboot, and it will not have anything to do with the Rob Zombie films at all. In fact, the new Halloween film will be a continuation of the original series. This will be the 9th Halloween film that will continue after Halloween: Resurrection (released in 2002). The new film will be directed by David Gordon Green. Jamie Lee Curtis is also set to reprise her role as Laurie Strode for the fifth and last time as this will be the final film of the original series.

Read more here:

http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/heat-vision/jamie-lee-curtis-returning-halloween-franchise-1039687

Interesting. Wondering how this is all gonna end? Will Michael Myers finally be dead once and for all or will Laurie Strode get killed off? This is horror so anything is possible. Maybe neither one will happen, and they could come up with a different ending that will shock people.

Will the new Halloween movie use the main theme for the opening title? They probably will. I really do hope John Carpenter will score the music for the film as well ’cause that would be awesome.

I have seen all the Halloween movies, even the two Rob Zombie films he did. They can make as many Halloween films as they please but nothing will top the first one. The first one is a classic. That film I’ll never get tired of watching over and over again; although, I do think Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers would have to be the best one of the sequels.
