I'm a musician, singer/songwriter, blogger, writer, poet, bodybuilder, movie lover, music lover, video gamer, history/political buff, conservative/republican, etc. I like to do a lot of things.

I think “The Dark Tower” trailer looks pretty sick, in my opinion, I’ll give it a chance…

So “The Dark Tower” trailer is finally out. I’m a huge fan of the Dark Tower books. I’m not a big fan of Stephen King’s politics and don’t like how he’s a Trump hater but despite all that, I’m still a fan of his work and his movie adaptations too.

This trailer is getting mostly negative reviews from what I’ve seen… actually the reviews are pretty much mixed but in my opinion, I think the trailer is fucking awesome.

A lot of people are like, “To those who read the book, will be upset”… I’ve read the book. In fact, I’ve read the book several times over the years of my life as “The Gunslinger” is one of Stephen King’s best books, in my opinion. From what I’ve seen in the trailer, it is pretty faithful to “The Gunslinger”, don’t listen to the critics.

Some of you ask, why doesn’t Roland Deschain (played by Idris Elba) have the hat which is depicted in the artwork of the books? Well in “The Gunslinger” novel, I think Roland lost the hat and doesn’t get a new one ’til in the later books. I don’t want to reveal any major spoilers, of course but I’ll leave it at that. Some are already asking where are Eddie and Susan, a married couple who are part of the second ka-tet? Well you won’t see them two until “The Drawing of Three” which is the second Dark Tower book so you probably won’t see them until the second movie. The first movie is an adaptation of “The Gunslinger” novel.

In the beginning of this trailer, you see Roland shooting at some creatures which are called the “slow mutants” just like “The Gunslinger” novel. The story is about Roland Deschain who is in search for the Man in Black whose name is Walter (a character who Matt McConaughey plays).

Once again from what I’ve seen of the “Dark Tower” trailer is pretty faithful to “The Gunslinger” novel. I’m gonna have to re-read the novel again before the movie comes out.

I’m definitely willing to give this one a chance and will see this one. I’m looking forward to seeing the “It” remake too. They both look real good! I’m so glad that “The Dark Tower” movie is finally here after all these years. I’ve been waiting for it for a pretty long time!

The Wall is being constructed at the Mexican border right now, take that doubters! Another middle finger to you!

RelaxIveGotThisTrump1

Well, the wall is officially happening. So-called Trump supporters are complaining about this bill and I don’t even know why. There is a claim going around out there that the bill doesn’t fund the wall but instead it funds Planned Parenthood, Obamacare and other liberal things which to me is a load of crap. If you heard that ridiculous claim then chances are you’ve heard it from Democrats who are trying to make Trump and the Republicans look like who can’t govern.

Contrary to popular beliefs, the whole point of the bill is to  help fund the border wall which is happening now and contruction of the wall has officially began as you see in the pics above released by Sean Spicer. Mick Mulvaney in the video below also revealed the news that the wall has begun its construction finally!

The wall is looking good so far and it’s looking beautiful!

Before you slam the bill, listen to what John Kelly and Mick Mulvaney says about it in the video below. I think the bill is great so there’s nothing to worry about. I definitely trust Trump, Paul Ryan and the GOP about this bill so I hope  Trump signs it. I think he will.

https://www.c-span.org/video/?427916-1/white-house-defends-spending-bill-saying-delivers-promises&live=

Some so-called Trump supporters are angry at this bill ’cause Dems were happy and declared victorious when they didn’t even know what the bill was about. Chances are, the so-called Trump supporters listened to the Dems and fake news media and fell for it.

The Trump wall has official begun its construction just like we all voted him in office for, we all wanted Trump for the WALL and some Trump supporters are still whining? You’re either on the Trump train or you’re out? Make up your fucking mind!

I totally believe in this bill, there’s nothing to worry about. It’s just the Dems trying to make themselves look good over it. Trust Trump, y’all. He’s got this. The Wall is finally happening so why complaining still? The Wall is what we all voted him in office for.  Stop listening to the Dems and the MSM.

About that Mitchell HD400 electric guitar I just ordered yesterday, it’s perfect for playing metal and shredding!

I just watched a video review of this guy talking about the Mitchell HD400 guitar. The guitar is perfect for playing metal and shredding which is what I wanted the guitar for. I’m planning on playing more metal and hard rock music so I needed a certain guitar that would have that sound. Looks like I picked a great guitar. The guitar sounds good from what I hear in this video so I can’t wait to get it. I didn’t get the guitar today but definitely tomorrow!

This is the kind of music that I want to play… metal and shred. Play similar music like all of my guitar heroes. The Mitchell HD400 looks like a badass guitar to me. I’ve been looking up instructional videos on whammy techniques and using the whammy seems pretty simple really.

Can’t wait to get the guitar tomorrow and I got the color red by the way.

Last night’s “WWE Payback” ppv was probably the worst ppv of this year… there were only two good matches on it…

Is WWE starting to go downhill again? It looks like it. I watched “WWE Payback” on the Network  last night and it was a horrible ppv. The WWE isn’t always good, though. Sometimes they do get really good and sometimes they get really lame. Last night was really lame.

There were only two great matches last night on “Payback”… I thought Jericho vs. Owens was a really entertaining as hell match. That was the best match of the night and I’m glad Jericho won the USA Title from Owens. I don’t like how the WWE has been using Jericho as of late ’cause he’s a great performer, one of my favorites. I’m glad the WWE finally made Jericho look like a star again ’cause they have been making Jericho look weak for a while now.

I thought the Hardy’s vs. Cesaro & Sheamus was a great tag team match as well. Cesaro & Sheamus turning heel didn’t surprise me, though ’cause I had a feeling it was coming.

Most of last night’s ppv wasn’t that good at all. Bray Wyatt vs. Randy Orton “House of Horrors” was the stupidest match I’ve seen in a long time. I’m like what was that? This Wyatt vs. Orton storyline is turning out to be some horror film or something. The feud is too gimmicky. I mean, why not focus on the wrestling? This feud is getting stupid. Probably the dumbest storyline since the Triple H & Kane necrophilia bullshit.

The main event with Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman, uuuggghhhh… that was a boring as hell match too. It didn’t end very well.

I don’t know, it wasn’t a very good ppv at all. WWE better step its game up if they want people to watch it again. I’m also getting kind of fed up of how WWE keeps ramming NXT and the Cruiserweight division down our throats. That’s another reason WWE is going downhill. I understand WWE wants to give the new stars the spotlight but there are talented guys who deserve the spotlight too and maybe I’ll have another post on that soon.

I love wrestling and all but like everyone else, I don’t like how Vince McMahon wants to ignore the “wrestling” part of it. He’s so hung up on making wrestling “family entertainment” and I don’t like it either. I miss the old days of wrestling in the 90’s and 2000’s years when it used to be dark & edgy. I miss all the blood and hardcore wrestling, we don’t get that anymore. Sad.

Just ordered a different guitar instead of the Jackson today…

Today I just put a guitar on order and it isn’t the Jackson JS32 Dinky that I was talking about. I ordered a different guitar instead which looks even better. Today,  I just ordered the Mitchell HD400:

http://www.musiciansfriend.com/guitars/mitchell-hd400-hard-rock-double-cutaway-electric-guitar#productDetail

The reason I ordered the Mitchell HD400 instead is that the Jackson JS32 looks like it ran out and more of those guitars won’t be available until May 12th. I didn’t want to wait that long so I ended up looking for a different guitar online and the Mitchell HD400 caught my eye.

The Mitchell guitar was priced at $399.99 but it was on sale for $279.99 so I ended up saying “yes” to that guitar and ended up getting that one instead. I should be able to get this guitar in a few days… probably either Wed. or Thursday, I would think. I might even get it tomorrow if I’m lucky enough ’cause sometimes guitar orders are pretty fast when you order them online.

Can’t wait to get this new guitar. I want an electric guitar with a whammy bar so I can learn how to do whammy tricks & stuff. Pretty soon,  I could play like Eddie Van Halen or Joe Satriani, haha.

When this guitar arrives here, I’ll post pics asap and maybe a video of me playing it some.

I don’t really need to get a fuzz pedal after all…

I just found out that I don’t really need to get a fuzz pedal ’cause I already have fuzz sound in one of my pedals that I have now. I already have fuzz on my Boss Distortion DS-1. The pedal came with a small instruction booklet and you can get various distortion sounds on this pedal whether from Hard Rock to British Punk to American Rock to Fuzz. I turned the knobs on the pedal to the fuzz sound and it sounded pretty cool. You can still get a good enough fuzz sound on this thing where you can sound like Nirvana or Hendrix. The fuzz sound on the DS-1 pedal sounds pretty badass.

I like the sound of fuzz when it comes to electric guitar ’cause it sounds really cool when you play lead guitar. Play lead guitar with fuzz gives you that 60’s and 70’s vibe which is the sound I’m looking for. I’ll still get the Fuzz Face pedal but I’ll get it sometime in the future. It’s cool that I just learned that I have fuzz ’cause it’s a cool sound.

So I’m gonna place that Jackson guitar and Delay pedal on order tomorrow and should get that stuff this week.

Last night’s Trump rally in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania should prove that the Trump Train is still good!

TrumpcrowdPA1

If you still believe that the Trump Train is getting smaller & smaller, don’t believe the hype. The Trump Train is still good, y’all. Trump is still extremely popular and the pic above is proof of that. No, Russia didn’t help Trump win the election. We, the American people voted him and helped him win. The pic above is something that the media will never show.

I watched Trump’s Harrisburg, P.A. speech live last night online and Trump still kills it. Trump never flipped on Obama ’cause last night Trump said, “The last administration gave us a lot of mess”… Trump was careful not to mention Obama’s name but we knew exactly who he was talking about.

I look at the crowd last night in Harrisburg and there are people of all different kinds. There were women in the audience, blacks, hispanics, asians, etc. Liberals want diversity? Well they got it!

When I watch Trump speech last night, the look on his face, man… he seems very happy and very excited. Smiling almost all the way through the speech. I can see why ’cause he did so much winning ever since he got elected. Don’t listen to the haters when they claim he hasn’t accomplished much, they’re just brainwashed people who probably believes what fake news media says. I think Trump did a great job in his first 100 days so I’ll give him an A+. While he did a good job, there is still more work to do, though. We’re just getting started.

The wall still needs go up, Obamacare still needs to go, we still got to get rid of Common Core too, taxes needs to go down, drain the swamp in Washington, destroy Isis for good, etc. I believe all that stuff will happen soon. The next 100 days will be even better.

It’s so refreshing to hear Trump talk about the American people instead of talking about himself. We had to deal with Obama talking about himself during his speeches for 8 years, when Trump does speeches he doesn’t refer to himself that much. The haters think Trump is a self-referential guy but I don’t think so at all. It’s Obama who is pretty self-referential but liberals applaud him for that.

Last night’s speech was great, loved how he gave the middle finger to Hollywood’s nerd prom at the White House and gave us a speech to celebrate 100 days instead.

All those so-called Trump supporters who bailed and now criticizing him are making a huge mistake. They’ll regret that later. I’m sure they already are regretting it.

I stand with President Trump. I don’t give a fuck what people says or thinks.

Roseanne is the latest TV sitcom to get reboot…

https://twitter.com/therealroseanne/status/858399052622315520

https://twitter.com/therealroseanne/status/858399541686542336

It has just been announced that a Roseanne reboot is in the works. This is the latest TV sitcom reboot which seem to be a trending thing in the entertainment industry lately. The show is set to bring back the original cast. Of course, Roseanne Barr is coming back and yes, John Goodman is coming back too.

A premiere date hasn’t been set yet, though and they’re still trying to find a place to air the new show whether it’ll be for cable TV or streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, etc.

http://variety.com/2017/tv/news/roseanne-revival-roseanne-barr-john-goodman-sara-gilbert-1202402990/

The show “Roseanne” is the show where John Goodman was best known for. Back then, Goodman wasn’t a well known actor but when the show got over with, Goodman went on to become a huge movie star. We know John Goodman in such movies like “Raising Arizona”, “Barton Fink”, “The Big Lebowski”, “Arachnophobia”, “The Flintstones”, “O Brother, Where Art Thou” and many more.

This show should do pretty well in the ratings ’cause Roseanne Barr is a Trump supporter and I’m sure many Trump supporters will watch the show.

I used to watch “Roseanne” when I was young. It was a good show.

When are we ever going to get that “Married With Children” reboot/reunion show? I would like a “Home Improvement” comeback as well.

Local musicians who are “conservative” & Trump supporters in Albany, stop hiding and speak out…

I know it seems like that we have a pretty liberal music scene in the Capital District but I’m pretty sure there are many conservative musicians around this local area. Most musicians who are around here that are pretty liberal seems to not be afraid to voice their political views through social networking but there are many who seem to be pretty quiet about their political views. If some musicians around here are pretty quiet about their political views then chances are then this person is a conservative and hiding it.

Why would musicians around here hide their conservative political views? Is it so they can avoid liberal backlash? They don’t want to lose their liberal supporters and fans is probably why. I’m a conservative and proud of it. I’m not afraid to speak out my political views publicly and don’t feel any regrets for it either. You shouldn’t be afraid either.

Yeah, people who are die-hard liberals who were once fans & supporters of mine got turned off once they saw me voicing out my views so they stopped supporting me. I’ve had many other musicians who are pretty liberal refusing to support me or my music ’cause of my conservative views but that’s okay. That’s what you pretty much wanna do. If you want to fight liberalism, you can’t hide your conservative feelings. You have to speak out.

I know if you speak out that if you’re a conservative or a Trump supporter it might be pretty risky for your music life but to tell you the truth, it won’t hurt a damn thing to your music life. Over the years I’ve gotten more fans & more supporters of my music since I’ve been talking about conservatism and Trump. Upstate NY has many Trump supporters, no doubt about that and if you come out as a Trump supporter, you would be surprised of how many Trump fans would support your music.

I know there are many local musicians around here who are big time Trump supporters, it’s just that they are afraid and too cowardly to speak out about it. Afraid to lose their liberal fanbase? Afraid to lose gigs?

I know I had a post before that musicians should keep quiet about their political views but now that I think about it, I disagree. You should speak loud and proud. I’m not afraid to speak out about politics and you shouldn’t be either.

There are many liberal musicians around the Capital District area who ram their political views down our throats everyday and I’m  pretty much fed up with it all. I can’t fight liberalism on my own. Come on, y’all. I need help. LOL!

Why I want to move on to electric guitar full time…

I think the simple answer to the title of this topic is that I’ve played acoustic guitar for most of my life. I want to switch to electric and I have been focusing on electric guitar mostly. I just simply want to rock, ya know? That’s pretty much the only reason. I want to try to write rock songs on electric guitar and I want to perform covers on electric guitar too.

Lately I’ve been messing around with riffs by Ac/Dc, Sabbath, Led Zep, Metallica and bands such as those. I’m going to try to learn the solos note for note for some of those songs too. I want to learn cover songs by my favorite bands & artists. Electric guitar covers… I also want to learn songs by Eric Clapton, KISS, Joe Satriani, Van Halen and possibly Dream Theater songs as well. I want to learn as much covers on electric guitar as much as possible.

I just find that electric guitar is way more fun than acoustic. I’ve played acoustic for most of my life and pretty much tired of it. Want to move on to something new. I’ll never give up acoustic, of course. I’ll always play that but I want to keep my most focus on electric guitar. Play both rhythm and lead guitar. I really love playing lead guitar so much and I want to do a lot of that. I’ve been studying and practicing on how to become a better lead guitarist as well learning theory, ear training and things like that.

I’m planning to put that new Jackson guitar on order next week which I can’t wait. For a long while I’ve stuck with Ibanez guitars but I want to try something different and always wanted to hear what Jackson guitars are like. If I want to be a rock and metal kind of guy, Jackson guitars are pretty much the way to go.

I would get myself a Gibson Les Paul someday and I’ve always wanted one but I gotta somehow come up with a couple of thousand. For now, I can’t afford guitars that much. I can only afford guitars around the $300 – $500 price range but one day I will get a Gibson Les Paul and that’s my dream guitar right there. I love buying new musicians gear when I can, though. I’m always looking for something new and different.

When I first started out playing guitar 20 years ago, I started off on electric but then I switched to acoustic for most of my life. Now I want to return to electric full time.

As far as guitar instruction and practicing goes, the music theory and ear training is going well. Getting good with both of those. I just want to become a better musician and trying all I can to get there.
