I'm a musician, singer/songwriter, blogger, writer, poet, bodybuilder, movie lover, music lover, video gamer, history/political buff, conservative/republican, etc. I like to do a lot of things.

Explaining my passions in things…

I like to do so many different hobbies & activities, because I try my best to stay active and I need to be inspired by doing different things in life. A lot of people out there will spend most of their time partying hard and drinking alcohol but not me. I like to do good things.

Here’s a list explaining my passions…

  • Fitness/Bodybuilding – I’ve had an interest in bodybuilding for years, and I finally got into it full time 3 years ago. As everyone knows, Arnold and Sly inspired me to get into it. Fitness and bodybuilding is so mainstream right now, everyone is into it. So I figure, I would get into to it too. Change my lifestyle and try to get the body that everyone wants. I don’t have the look where I could be called an official, “bodybuilder” yet, but that is my goal. I want that look too, but it’ll take some time. I got a lot of work to do in order for people to start calling me an actual, “bodybuilder”.
  • Music/Guitar playing – Music’s been in my blood ever since I was a child, I first started playing guitar at the age of 18. It was Jimmy Page that got me to pick up the guitar. I love music because it helps me get away from everything else in life and gets my mind off of everything. Music makes me feel better. That’s how powerful music really is. I love all kinds of music, but I mostly like rock n’ roll and metal. Anything with kick ass guitar playing, I’m a fan.
  • Reading – Reading books or magazines is something I do, when I want to have some peace and quiet for myself. If I don’t feel like do anything else, I’ll read a book or a magazine. Things I like to read are mostly horror & crime fiction. I also like to read anything about music and guitar instruction. I also like to read celebrity autobiographies as well.
  • Movies – A lot of people know I am a movie buff. I just love movies. I enjoy watching movies a lot because I like storytelling. I also enjoy watching the creative talent of other people through the actors and directors. I like to be entertained like everyone else.
  • Video games – Just like with music, I’ve always been a die hard video gamer. I like video games ’cause they help you think. They’re inspiring. I like the creative art with video games as well. The games I mostly like to play are action/adventure, first person shooters, and sometimes car racing games.
  • Professional wrestling – As a lot of people know, I have a huge passion for the wrestling business. A lot of people wonder why and people find it weird, but I don’t care what other people think. Wrestling is entertaining to me and I respect the performers, because they work their ass off for what they do to entertain people. Wrestling may not be for everyone but you should give these guys the respect they deserve too. It maybe fake, but at least they perform these shows live in person, there’s nothing fake about that, right? Think about it.
That’s it. Hope you enjoy.

Why I’m starting to post here, less and less…

Some you of readers may wonder why I’m starting to post here less and less. Only starting to make 3 or 4 posts a day or sometimes none at all.

It’s because I’m trying to fine better things to do. I’m honestly starting to get bored of blogging and I just come on here only when I feel like it. I’ve been spending time doing other things like working out at the gym, doing my cardio, playing my guitar, catching up with some reading, playing video games, watch movies, etc. I do my usual daily activities, even though I’m currently unemployed, I still try to keep myself busy.

When ever I see an interesting news story that I need to get on here or whenever I need to get something off my chest, that’s when I’ll want to post here.

I don’t take this blog seriously anymore like I used to. I got better things to do outside in the real world off this computer. That’s what I’m trying to do. This blog is a home where I can have a place to rant & rave, that’s all I use this site for.

I love to rant & rave publicly for a lot of reasons. One reason, it makes me feel good about myself and makes me feel better to get things off my chest, instead of holding it in, like a lot of people seem to be doing these days. My blogging has nothing to do with attention whoring and it’s not an ego trip at all. It’s about expressing yourself and not being afraid to do it.

I try to blog more when things get interesting. Nothing much going on today. I’m trying to finsh, the “L.A. Noire” video game so I can move on to “Deus Ex: Human Revolution” which is a new game I picked up the other day.

I plan to pick out a movie to watch on Netflix tonight.

Film Review: Warrior

Starring: Tom Hardy, Joel Edgerton, Nick Nolte, Kurt Angle

Directed by: Gavin O’ Connor

Today, I decided to go to the mall to check out the movie, “Warrior”. Here is my review…

Plot/Synopsis: Ex-Marine, Tommy Conlon (Hardy) returns home to Pittsburgh, from serving the country, and he enlists his father (Nolte) to help train him for a big MMA tournament where the winner gets $5,000,000. However, Tommy, and his father don’t get along because his father is a recovering alcoholic and their family is about to fall apart.

While Tommy focuses on getting into fighting, his brother, Brendan Conlon (Edgerton), is a school teacher and he’s in a financial ruin with his family. Brendan wants back into fighting so he can have the money to care for his family who is also about to fall apart. The two Conlon brothers must go face to face in the tournament to fight for the prize of a lifetime.

If you like sports films and if you’re a fan of MMA/UFC, then you’re definitely going to love this movie. Also, this movie isn’t just for sports and MMA fans. This movie can be enjoyed by everyone. This movie is more than just about MMA and cage fighting. It can be about family life and things that can happen for real. This film wants to give you insight on what it’s like being an MMA fighter. Some may think the MMA lifestyle is easy and fun, but this film wants to show you it can be difficult. Families can fall apart because of your fighting lifestyle and your life can get ruined very quickly as well, just like that. This film also wants to show you that fighting can bring out the positive things about your life as well.

This is a perfect film over all. It was very intelligently written. The acting of the cast was phenomenal. Especially Nick Nolte who I was most impressed with. I think Nick Nolte deserves the Oscar nod for Best Supporting actor for this role and I have a feeling he might get one. His acting was very powerful in this movie.

This film has so much different emotions. It can be sad at times, there are scenes where it makes you pissed off, and the fighting scenes just make you want to jump up and cheer. The fighting scenes were great. I was even impressed with Kurt Angle, who is an Olympic gold medalist wrestler, and former WWE star/current TNA star. Kurt Angle didn’t talk at all in the movie. Kurt Angle plays one of the fighters who Tom Hardy fights in the movie.

I was completely blown away and in awe about this film. This film is definitely 10x’s better than, “The Fighter”, starring Christian Bale and Mark Wahlberg. “Warrior” is even better than “The Wrestler” starring Mickey Rourke. I’d say “Warrior” is the best sports movie since the Rocky series.

I must warn you though, that “Warrior” didn’t have a lot of fighting in this movie and there’s a good reason for that too. Like I said before, it wanted to show you the life of a fighter outside of a cage. I think that’s the whole point of this movie. Real life MMA fighters like in Strikeforce and UFC, live their lives the similar way it is shown in this movie. All they do is train, fight, and live their lives with their families. Fighters are just normal people like us. It’s what they do for a living because that’s all they have. A lot of fighters can’t get jobs and have a hard time making money to survive, so they fight in a cage to survive.

This movie is very inspiring and I would definitely say this is the best movie of 2011 so far. Whether you’re into MMA or not, you gotta check this movie out. You’ll understand this sport better, when you do.

Score for “Warrior” (**** “4 stars” as in “excellent”)

“24”, the best action show on TV???

On Netflix, I have been watching the TV show, “24′. I’m currently in the middle of “Season 2” right now. I just love this fucking show. Love it too much. I can’t stop watching. I would at least watch 2 – 4 episodes a night.

The writing is so good. I love the twist and turns in the story lines. It can get intense, graphic, and violent at times too. The cast is great.

At the end of Season 1, I loved the team up of Kiefer Sutherland, Lou Diamond Phillips and Dennis Hopper. It was great seeing all of them. I also like the girl who plays Kim Bauer and the guy who plays President Palmer.

Such a great show so far. I hope they make these series into a big screen movie, ’cause it deserves to have a film. I’m glad I got into this show finally. I still have a long way to catch up ’cause this show is a good 8 seasons long.

I’m sticking with Netflix, I don’t care about the price raise, it’s not a big deal for me.

Thought: More on Scarlett Johansson nude pics controversy…

Well, ScarJo’s on the fight for getting her nude pics off the internet completely. Why? If she didn’t want her nude pics online, then she shouldn’t have done it in the first place. This was her own fault that this happened. I’m sure this wasn’t the first time she took nude pics of herself, I’m sure she has plenty more. It’s just that she did a stupid move by doing it on a cell phone.

In reality, there’s nothing wrong with taking nude pics of yourself, people do this stuff all the time, but do it responsibly and carefully.

She is smoking hot though, I’d date her myself if I could!

Why Metallica needs the respect they deserve…

Seems like Metallica is America’s most hated band. They have a lot of haters, especially on the internet. There are many reasons why people hate Metallica. Basically, all the hate toward Metallica began when Lars Ulrich, threatened to sue Napster back in the day. Also the Metallica hate never stopped when they changed their style of music for the albums, “Load”, “Re-load”, and, “St. Anger”.

When they released their latest album, “Death Magnetic”, a few years ago, Metallica tried their best to give what the fans wanted all along. Thrash metal. That’s exactly what the band did, they gave us the return of thrash/speed metal for “Death Magnetic”. Most people are happy with the album, but of course, some aren’t. A lot of people complain, “Death Magnetic”, for a few reasons. They all say they can’t hear Rob Trujillo’s bass playing and they accused the album of being, “clipped”, in Pro Tools.

Metallica, then did the Big 4 shows with Anthrax, Slayer, and Megadeth, to help keep the metal fanbase going. Of course, I’m sure Metallica is being hated on for that as well. I’m sure they’re being accused of being ego’s, attention whores or they’re just doing Big 4 shows for the money alone, but I disagree with all those.

Next here comes the Lou Reed & Metallica project which they will release an album together called, “LuLu”. A lot of people say this is the worst collaboration in the history of music. Why? Because it’s Metallica. Like I said before, people call them bad guys at almost everything they want to do.

Metallica needs to be respected. Love ’em or hate ’em, they are the kings of metal, period. You may like your other metal bands (like Megadeth, Slayer, Anthrax, Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, Ac/Dc, etc.), but they are not in Metallica’s league. Metallica is pretty much the only metal band who is capable enough of writing memorable songs that are catchy and they can’t leave your head. Metallica is this generation of the Beatles, if you know what I mean by that. They had too many singles that you still hear on the radio today. How many other metal bands get their songs played on the radio? Not too many. Yes, I’m sure other metal bands have got their songs played on the radio many times before, Metallica are the kings of radio.

There are Metallica fans that would only support them for their earlier music in the 80’s they did with Cliff Burton and not like their new music. There are also Metallica fans who would like everything they do (like myself).

Here is a short list of why Metallica needs to be respected.

  • They had a legendary career – They toured with just about every metal band you can think of. They’ve been on the top of the Billboard charts for a lot of their stuff. Their career is so historic and they are special in a lot of ways. Did any other band had a legendary career like they did? Well the only bands that can almost top them are Anthrax, Slayer, and Megadeth, which is the whole point of the Big 4 shows. 4 Bands who had a similar legacy get together on a tour, but Metallica are still the kings.
  • They are passionate about music – It’s not about the money and fame for them at all. They continue at it, because they enjoy it. You can tell too by the way they play on stage. They show that music is in their blood and they love what they do.
  • They are not afraid to go different directions – If people are upset about their different styles of music they do every album. If people are pissed off that they stayed away from thrash/speed, tough shit. They are a band. No band wants to play the same type of music all the time. They need to switch it up every once in a while like all bands do.
  • They tour constantly with no days off – They tour around the world and the United States pretty heavily. Being away from their families for long periods of time, that’s a lot of guts. Can you do that?
  • They’re nice guys – I don’t see any ego problems at all. To me they seem nice and professional. They don’t do interviews that much, but I enjoy how they give interviews in the press. Plus, the boys in Metallica are very good with their fans. They are willing to do meet & greets, do autographs and take photos with them. Not many bands do that.
  • They’re talented songwriters – No matter the genre of music they decide to do, they’re always capable of writing catchy songs that never leave your head. Even if you don’t like, “Load”, “Re-load” and, “St. Anger”, you still gotta hand it to ’em. There are still good songs on those three albums. Again, they are great at making anthems better than any other band that you can sing along to them at their concerts.
  • They respect other talent – No, the boys in Metallica do not think they are better than other bands. If you read their interviews, they like other music and they support other bands, greatly. They are willing to tour and collaborate with other bands. They have been doing that stuff for years. They are friends with other bands too like all the bands on the Big 4 lineup for example.
I have seen Metallica live in concert for their, “Death Magnetic” tour, and it was a huge honor for me to see a band that I always wanted to see. I’ll never forget that night. They are the best live performers too.
I will always support Metallica. No matter what they do, they got my back. I look forward to the Lou Reed album, “LuLu”, hope they release a song soon.

Cool Photos: Scarlett Johansson nude photos leaked to the web…

Actress, Scarlett Johansson is the latest celebrity victim of hacked nude photos leaked to the web…

See them here at Perez Hilton’s unrated website.

Yep, that’s definitely her. I’m surprised her boobs are pretty natural looking. There’s no evidence of breast implants at all. She has a great body, and nice ass, as I expected.

If Sean Penn really banged her, then he’s one lucky guy.

Thought: Steven Seagal for “The Expendables” sequel???

When the “Expendables” film franchise is being discussed in movie forums and blogs, Steven Seagal’s name is always brought up. A lot of fans of these movies, want Seagal to join the cast.

I might of posted about this before a long time ago but I think I’ll post it again. I agree it would be cool as hell if Seagal would join the Expendables cast, but it’s NEVER going to happen anytime soon. Why?

Because Avi Lerner and Seagal don’t get along. They hate each other, I think. They had a fallen out over some movie deal a few years back. Do your research and google it yourself. Seagal vowed to never work with Lerner again. “The Expendables” franchise is being produced by Millennium studios which is owned/founded by, Lerner. If the “Expendables” was being made through a different movie company, then yes, I’m sure Seagal would be on board then, but as long as Avi Lerner is working with them, no chance.

Sly even tried to get Seagal for the first movie but he failed. Seagal must patch things up and bury the hatchet with Lerner, if they ever want to work together again, but I don’t see it happening anytime soon. Their feud is pretty heated and not very nice.

It is interesting how Seagal’s name keeps coming up when it comes to, “The Expendables”. I’m sure he respects Sly as an actor, Seagal has no bad blood against Sly at all, it’s Avi Lerner he doesn’t like. I’m sure Seagal wants to be a part of these movies, but he can’t.

I like Steven Seagal movies, the earlier ones. He was a good action hero back in the day.

Report: JJ Abrams officially on board to direct, “Star Trek” sequel…

JJ Abrams has finally signed on to direct, the sequel to 2009’s, “Star Trek”. The main cast are all set to reprise their roles. The plot have not been revealed yet, but Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci, are returning to write the script as well.

More on the story, here.

Hopefully, a young Khan will be the villain for the next one. I’m also hoping William Shatner will return as Captain Kirk for this one, if possible.

I’m looking forward to the sequel. Hope it will be better than the first.

Not A Cool Video: Good god, “Twilight: Breaking Dawn” looks horrible!!!

Well, it’s official, I now hate the Twilight franchise. I’m not jumping the Twilight hate bandwagon, but the new “Breaking Dawn” trailer hit the web today and it doesn’t look good. I can now understand why a lot of people hate the Twilight franchise.

I used to enjoy the series, but not anymore. I think I’m getting a bit too old to be enjoying stuff like this, anyway.

See the trailer, here.
