I won’t be doing much today. Will take some time jamming on some guitar, do some songwriting, have turkey dinner with the family this afternoon, watch some NFL Football (Saints vs. Cowboys game) and do whatever.

Rumors hit the internet, that Anne Hathaway could be the top contender to play Lois Lane in Christopher Nolan/Zack Snyder “Superman” for Warner Bros. My thoughts? I think that’s a bad choice. I like Anne Hathaway. She’s a good actress, but she won’t be good for Lois Lane.
I think the new Lois Lane should be similar to Margot Kidder’s Lois Lane from the earlier “Superman” movies. Margot Kidder obviously played the best Lois Lane, no other actress could top her. Lois Lane is a lady that is always aggressive and she’s one tough lady. She’ll do anything to get an article or photos for the Daily Planet newspaper no matter how dangerous things are. Anne Hathaway doesn’t fit. She’s not aggressive and mean enough. Lois Lane is supposed to be like that. Plus, Lois Lane isn’t supposed to be all that sexy and beautiful.
I’d go for actresses such as Michelle Williams, Scarlett Johannson or Hillary Swank. Lois needs to be played by an actress with talent.
I think it would be cool if Margot Kidder herself, made a cameo appearance in the new “Superman” movie Zack Snyder is doing. Maybe not her as Lois Lane, but a small role for Margot. Yes, Margot is still alive and well.
I also hope that new rumored Superman plot, where Clark goes to West Africa is a complete lie. If the West Africa plot is true, then the plot will suck. It should be taken place in Metropolis. No Smallville stuff ’cause we’ve seen enough of that already. I’m sure Zack and Chris won’t disappoint us with the plot. It’s interesting to me how they are keeping quiet on everything. I’m patiently waiting to hear more about Superman. Who’s going to play Superman and other cast members. I need to know the plot, who the villains will be. We’ll know all that stuff soon. Hope they don’t make us wait long.

Do you agree with it or not? The way I look it, I agree with some of it and don’t agree with some of it, both at the same time.
I do agree with CNN, that posting wedding pics on facebook right after you get married is a totally bad idea. Wedding pics are supposed to be for your own private use. When facebook came around, wedding memories are no longer private because people’s been posting their weddings on facebook lately. I do agree with CNN, that people posting default pics of their pets, baby pictures or an object is a bad idea. Lately a lot of people have been posting pics of their dogs, cats, etc. It’s not only stupid, it can be very dangerous. How can posting a pic of your pet be dangerous? It can lead to crime, simple as that. People close to you or neighbors can go to your house and steal your pet if they like it. Something to think about animal lovers.
As far as baby pics, go, same thing. Pregnant women would post pics of their x-rays with their baby inside their bellies. I think women posting those pics is wrong because things like that are supposed to be for your own private use. I mean, shouldn’t women be sharing baby images with their boyfriends/husbands alone? When the baby is born, mothers would post new born pics of babies as their profile pics. Knowing how facebook child predators is on the rise, that’s how it can be dangerous.
People posting up party pictures. I see it all the time. Plenty of facebook users would post up pics of themselves with a beer in their hand or worse a joint or smoking a bong. Not cool. You could lose your jobs or won’t get hired for one, and lots of consequences will happen because of it.
What do I think about guys putting up shirtless pics of themselves and women posting sexy looking pics (lots of make-up and cleavage, etc.) of themselves on facebook? Well that’s one thing I completely disagree with. I think this is completely normal. If people want to show off, go for it. I find nothing wrong with sexy women pictures because personally, I enjoy my eye candy. It’s one thing I like to do is look at cute pictures of women in facebook. It’s the same thing as looking at sexy women through men’s magazines such as Maxim, FHM, Playboy, etc.
This is the reason why I only talk about entertainment news online: music, movies, fitness, etc. It’s just my way of keeping my personal life off the internet. I try to be careful not to put my life online, but I talk about entertainment news online for a reason. Many people put their lives online for the world to see, but with me, I try not to do that. It’s the best way to keep yourself safe.

Another reason, why the Miz was made, WWE Champion is because he used to be associated with MTV in the past. He was a former “Real World” star. Then he went on WWE’s Tough Enough, another wrestling reality show where wrestler hopefuls train to get a contract in WWE. Miz was sent to OVW to further his wrestling skills in hopes of getting signed to WWE. Miz becoming Champion in WWE just recently is a ploy to help market WWE in a huge way since he was a former Real World star. WWE knew Miz becoming Champion would be all over mainstream news. Hoping to get more ratings and more merchandise sales.
All the internet has been talking about lately is the Miz becoming WWE Champion, and I’m not just talking about wrestling community websites. The Miz is even being talked about everywhere, even on TMZ. I know a lot of people like him and a lot of people hope he may become the next Stone Cold/Rock, but I can think of plenty of other younger wrestlers that can easily fill in Stone Cold’s/Rock’s spotlight. Like I said in the previous post, the Miz is not my favorite wrestler. As I said, I don’t think Miz will have a long title reign.
I think there are other young wrestlers that are better than the Miz. Who? I like Ezekiel Jackson, Evan Bourne, Jack Swagger, and that redhead wrestler, Sheamus.
While I don’t agree with Miz being the Champ, I still give WWE props for finally giving the belt to someone different other than Randy Orton and John Cena all the time. I’m sure Cena will get it back, it’s only a matter of time. Just wait.

Ever since WWE went PG, they never had a heel champion. It was mostly John Cena and Randy Orton that held the belt. I think the Miz was made WWE Champion because it was a test to see how sales goes with the Merchandise. Could WWE lose Merchandise and TV ratings because of the Miz being Champion? Possibly, we’ll have to see how it goes. If the WWE lose merchandise sales, if they start to go down on everything, they’ll probably have to make a babyface champion again. Triple H should be coming back soon, I think that’s another reason the Miz was made Champion so Triple H can feud with him for the belt. That’s the tough thing about the PG switch with WWE, it’s gonna be tough on them having a heel Champion ’cause they know a lot of children are not going to like it.
If the Miz was Champion if WWE was still TV-14 now, all the adult WWE fans would find it cool, but with children that are fans, is a different thing. See what I’m saying? I don’t think Miz will be Champion for long. He got it so another babyface wrestler can take it from him whether it will be Cena or Randy Orton or Triple H.
What do I like about the Miz? Do I like the character? I know the Miz is a very popular heel, which is another reason he was made Champion, but to be honest, I don’t think he’s a good performer. I really don’t like his voice when he does promos in the ring. He messes up a lot of speeches and can’t say things right, plus, his, “I am the Miz, and I am awesome” quote is a bit annoying, and too simple. I’d prefer Wade Barrett of the Nexus being WWE Champion then the Miz, but who knows, maybe Wade Barrett will take it from the Miz and there will be a heel vs. heel Championship match.
WWE can’t overdo the heel thing anymore due to the PG switch, that’s why almost every RAW show ends with a babyface wrestler being the hero, but WWE did something different this week, at least, I’ll give them that. RAW last Monday night was a decent show. They are slightly improving.

With me being a huge Star Trek fan, I just had to post this one for myself. Here is Leonard Nimoy still dressed up as Spock, behind the scenes of “Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home” which Leonard directed himself. Remember, the Starfleet team goes back to our current time to visit San Francisco. The mission is, they had to go back in time to save two humpback whales and actually communicate with them. They had to do it to save Earth from a destructive space probe.
Seriously, as some of you may or may not know, I’m a huge Star Trek fan. I’m a die hard Trekkie. I love anything Star Trek and the “Voyage Home” was one of my favorite Star Trek films.

As you all know, soon I hope to have a new demo CD out. A full band disc next time. Like I said before a long time ago, I’m not going to put the next demo CD under my name. I will come up with a band name for it. It won’t have my name in the band name at all, like, it’s not going to be, “The Kev Brock Band” or it won’t be called, “K’Brocking’ & Friends”, none of that shit. I will come up with a creative band name, and when I do, I will have the name trademarked before I put it out there publicly.
The reason I want to make a full band demo CD so badly is not only to have some full band songs, but to prove that I know how to do the rock n’ roll band thing that not many people think I can do. I’ve been accused of not knowing shit about being a musician, and I got something to prove. Yeah, I do know chords. I have an idea of how chords work and what notes are in them. I know every note on the fretboard of the guitar. I know a few other scales then just the basic minor pentatonic scale. I’m familiar with chord progressions and the chromatic scale. I also know alternate tunings and have an okay ear when soloing over rhythym and what keys to play songs in. I know all that techniques like hammer ons, pull offs, slides, vibratos, string bending, harmonics, I’m familiar with augmented chords, intervals, tones, and that theory stuff. So yeah, I do know some shit as you can tell.
I’ll admit that I’m not the best singer in the world. I don’t sing like those kids on American Idol and don’t sing like Clay Aiken or Barry Manilow, but I learned that you don’t need to sing good if that’s what you want to do is sing your own songs that you write. Many famous musicians today aren’t professionally trained with their singing voices and they admit it. They sing anyway because they can. Singers like Neil Young, Billy Corgan and Ozzy Osbourne are perfect examples. You can tell Neil, Billy and Ozzy weren’t professionally trained with their singing. Yet, they are still able to write amazing songs even if they don’t sing as good. Bob Dylan is another one. Kurt Cobain from Nirvana and also Jimi Hendrix. If that’s what you want to do is sing, just do it. You don’t need to go through all them strict, instructional voice lessons. You could if you want to if you want to improve your vocals, but sometimes that’s the way your voice is, and you can’t get any better. I sing anyway ’cause it’s a way to express myself. I would like to sing like Robert Plant or Chris Cornell, you know, sing with a strong voice and powerful range, but I’ll never get there because this is how my throat is. I’m always practicing singing and try to get a little better, I just sing ’cause I enjoy it.
I want to get the full band thing going ’cause it’s something I’ve always dreamed of. I hope to get the full band demo CD out in 2011 and maybe do some shows with a band in the summer, if the band thing goes well and if they want to play shows with me. I’ll work something out. I’ve got other musicians in the Albany area that are fans of my music, so I’m pretty sure they’ll be willing to play with me. Count on it.

Well, Cookie Monster himself is dying to get on Saturday Night Live. Betty White may have gotten the opportunity over a facebook campaign, and now Cookie Monster is following that bandwagon. I was never into Sesame Street as a kid, but I always thought Cookie Monster was the best character out of the whole Sesame Street gang.
If Cookie Monster gets booked to host SNL, does this mean a Katy Perry appearance? Wouldn’t surprise me.

Disney’s Pixar, the people who brought us films such as “Toy Story”, “Monsters Inc.”, “Cars”, “Wall-E”, “Up”, etc. joins the “It Gets Better” campaign by posting a video of their own in youtube. “It Gets Better” is a campaign to help fight bullying against the gay & lesbian community. In reality, “It Gets Better” can be for everybody, not just homosexuals.
I’m not gay but I respect the hell out of them. I’ve known some people that were gay in the past. I’ve also shared gigs with other solo musicians around the area that were gay, so I have nothing against gay people at all.
Speaking of bullying, yes, I was bullied when I was in high school. I’ve never gotten into any fights, but I’ve had other kids in school hit me before. I didn’t have what it took to defend myself and never fought back. As I got older and was out of high school, I still got bullied by other people here and there, but I learned to stay strong and I learned to never let it get to me. All of this bullying stuff is what got me interested in bodybuilding and fitness. I thought to myself, “Hmmmm, if I get ripped one day, maybe people will never be mean to me again?” I never got into fitness when I was a kid because of my past major surgeries that kept me away from it. So now that I’m good and healthy, I am able to get into fitness and do anything I want now. So here I am, trying to make my dreams of becoming a tough guy of my own.
My advice to those out there who are an easy target of being bullied by other people, get into fitness and bulk up. You don’t need to challenge a fight with them because of your ripped body like I said, violence is never the answer, but you being ripped will help bullies think twice before they say something mean to you. They’ll leave you alone, when they notice your physique. Never use physical violence, unless they hit you first. It is okay to fight back for self defense. Yep, this is the big part of why I’m getting into fitness ’cause of the way I was treated by other students in high school.
This method seems to be working in fact. Ever since I started putting up my fitness progress publicly, I haven’t even seen one thing that is said about me in a negative way. If you had a tough life, growing up, it does get better. I got good things going. I became a musician, a bodybuilder, an entertainment blogger, I work day jobs and just enjoying life. I hope to get married and raise a family one day, but I’m in no rush for that, just taking my time for the relationship, and wait for the right woman to come along. People may think I can’t get a woman, but no matter what you think or say, there is someone for everyone out there. Other than that, I’m just happy, playing music, working out in the gym, and just posting in the blog. These things keep me happy.

Storyline wise, John Cena has been fired from the WWE because he is under Wade Barrett’s control. Not anymore. John Cena called the Survivor Series match right down the middle as he promised, so he helped Randy Orton retained. So that makes Cena fired from WWE if he didn’t follow Wade Barrett’s orders while being member of the Nexus.
How would it make more sense to bring Cena back to TV storyline wise? Could Vince McMahon bring Cena back? Pretty unlikely since Vince McMahon haven’t been on TV in a long while plus Vince hates Cena storyline wise. The RAW Anonymous GM wouldn’t bring Cena back ’cause the GM was the one who kept that rule that if Cena doesn’t follow Wade’s orders, he’d be fired.
So why would Cena sacrifice his career storywise? He’ll take a little break from TV for a few weeks just to go with this storyline, and then he’ll get revealed as the RAW Anonymous GM. How would it make sense that Cena would be the GM? Well think about it. The last time Vince McMahon was on TV, he got his ass kicked by the Nexus. Vince knows how much Cena hates the Nexus and knows how much Cena wants to destroy them. Notice, how the GM has been busting on the Nexus a lot, a Cena hint? YES! Cena being revealed as the GM would explain him coming back from the firing.
For those hoping the GM would be Warrior, Bret Hart, or Triple H. Don’t get your hopes up. Don’t be surprised that the GM could be none other than Cena. After reading about Survivor Series and seeing tonight’s RAW, and how this storyline is going, I’m beginning to see that the GM could be Cena. Sorry to disappoint you Cena haters out there.
