BREAKING NEWS: Jean Claude Van Damme suffers minor heart attack on his new film, “Weapon”!!!

Action star, Jean Claude Van Damme, suffers a minor heart attack before filming any of his scenes on his new movie, “Weapon”. He was admitted to New Orleans hospital before returning back home to, Belgium, where he lives. His wife and children joined him in New Orleans. It was just a small heart attack, so he is expected to make a full recovery quickly.

More on the story, here.

Well JCVD, did have a huge addiction with cocaine in the past. Yes, he was very addicted. Cocaine WILL do this to you. This is only the beginning for Jean Claude. The next heart attack might be worse. I know he doesn’t do cocaine anymore, he cleaned up his act a long time ago, but your past with drugs will come back and hit ya, no matter if you’re clean or not.

I wish Jean Claude well.

Cool Video: Bill Murray accepts Scream Award in a Ghostbusters suit!!! HOLY CRAP!

Bill Murray attended the Scream awards to pick up his award for Best Horror Film for the film, “Zombieland”, which he had a cameo in. Guess what folks? Bill Murray showed up on stage wearing a Ghostbusters suit! For a long time now, Bill Murray denied returning for “Ghostbusters 3” because he felt too old to be wearing a Ghostbusters suit again. Well, here is proof that he’s not that old and he still looks GREAT in the suit. Bill got a huge crowd reaction too. Come on, Bill! Please return for “Ghostbusters 3”. I think he would want to now after this.

Cool Photo: Marty McFly and Doc Brown reunion at the Scream Awards!

This pic is so badass, I just had to post it! Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd reunion at the 2010 Scream Awards. Here they are posing for photogs. Ever since these two haven’t been doing the Back to the Future series, their looks haven’t changed one bit. Very weird! I love the Back to the Future trilogy, all three films are great!

Thought: Why do people want Brandon Routh back so bad?

I look through entertainment movie blogs and message board forums talking about the actor choices for the upcoming new, Superman movie. The most popular picks are Brandon Routh and Jon Hamm. Brandon Routh is the most popular choice, of course. Ya know, I thought, “Superman: Returns” was a pretty good movie, but the only thing is, I never cared for Routh as Superman that much.

The reason people want Routh back is because he’s so similar to Christopher Reeve. Plus everyone wants to see Routh in another Superman movie. Honestly, I would prefer Jon Hamm more than Routh. I said before, I don’t want Routh back. I like Jon Hamm, he’s the better choice, I think.

I know I said this quite a bit, but don’t be surprised that it could be neither Brandon Routh or Jon Hamm as Superman. They could go with Leo Dicaprio due to the success of “Inception” like I said before.

So who would I want to play Superman? Honestly, and here is my 2cents. The Superman role should go to an actor who is not a big name star. In other words, the role should really go to an unknown. Christopher Reeve was an unknown when he came in, so was Brandon Routh. All that stuff with Brandon Routh possibly being considered to come back, all that news is from a UK newspaper, “News of the World”, which are tabloids. So I’m not believing that. The role should go to an unknown. I’m sure Chris and Zack would get a guy for Superman, that we’ve never even heard before. So don’t get all excited that they could get a big name superstar for Superman.

Film Review: I’m Still Here

So last night, I finally watched the movie, “I’m Still Here” on one of them ppv Movies On Demand things. Here is just a brief review.

This movie is about the mockumentary of actor, Joaquin Phoenix, retiring from acting to focus on a rap career. While Joaquin maybe looked at as a crazy and whacked out person in the media, I didn’t see that at all in the movie. Joaquin was actually seen pretty normal in this film. Yes, he was crazy in some parts but not that bad. What I saw in this film was a guy who is struggling to have a better life, he had a drug addiction with cocaine and other drugs. He changed his personality so people could be able to understand him as a person more. Joaquin may get angry and swear a lot in the film, but there is an emotional and sad part about him. The film showed his feud with the Spacehog frontman, Antony Langdon and Joaquin forms a friendship with rapper, P. Diddy Sean Combs. Through those scenes with Sean Combs, really showed the personality side of things with Joaquin.

The movie was not dark, it had some humorous moments of course, but the film was very serious in a way. The movie is definitely fictional, but I think the film exposed the real Joaquin Phoenix, that he might have a real drug problem like his brother River, had back in the day. Joaquin’s acting in this film was really good as usual, but he might get another Oscar nomination for Best Actor in this film, possibly.

I was pretty impressed with the film, liked it a lot.

Score for “I’m Still Here” (**** = 4 stars as in “excellent”)

Thought: I wouldn’t really call Superman a crimefighter, MTV!!!

I just wanted to respond to this article, here.

MTV News said:

“Instead, the DC Comics icon will return to his early days as a crimefighter in a wholly original story.”

Can MTV get anything right? I’ve been a Superman fanatic for many years, ever since I was a child. So I know for a fact, that Superman was never really a crimefighter. The crimefighter is none other than, Batman. Not Superman.

Superman has always been known to save people’s lives. If a plane is about to crash, or if a school bus is about to fall off a bridge, Superman would come to the rescue. If someone falls off a building or if an Earthquake is about to happen, Superman would come to the rescue. Sure, Superman fights some crime, like he would catch burglars and terrorists, but he never went as far as capturing murderers, kidnappers or bank robbers, that’s all Batman.

Why would MTV call Superman, a crimefighter? So stupid, if you ask me. Any Superman fan would know he’s not a crimefighter.

Report: Zack Snyder reveals that the new Superman movie will be original and will focus on earlier days of Superman…

Zack Snyder recently did a French interview on a French film website to promote, “Legends of the Guardians”, over seas, and of course, he was asked about the Superman movie he is directing soon. While Zack still refuses to discuss the plot, he did reveal a little. He says the next Superman movie won’t be a remake of the earlier films and it won’t be adapted from the comics. The next Superman movie will stay focused on Superman’s earlier days.

More on it, here.

What does he mean, by the earlier days of Superman? Will the whole movie be taken place in Sueprman’s home planet, Krypton? If so, that would be really cool. “Superman: The Movie” had scenes on planet Krypton but very little, only in the beginning of the film. If we had a Superman flick that was taken place on planet Krypton a lot more, that would be sweet. That would mean Jor-El would get more screen time.

Either that, or are we going to get the other plot where most of the movie will be taken place at the Daily Planet in Metropolis.

Zack is keeping quiet on the plot ’cause I’m sure that is what he is paid to do. Christopher Nolan and WB’s don’t want the plot revealed until the time is right. Hopefully they’ll reveal the plot soon ’cause I’m dying to know what the story will be about too.

Report: Tom Cruise will reprise his role as Maverick for “Top Gun” sequel but for a small role…

At first, Tom Cruise, denied talks that he will be returning as Maverick, for the upcoming, “Top Gun” sequel, but looks like he changed his mind. He actually agreed to return to the sequel, but the only thing is, it will be a cameo.

See the article, here.

Good on Tom! Glad he realized that a Top Gun sequel wouldn’t be right without him at all, a small role is good enough.

Report: Tom Hardy casted for Christopher Nolan’s, “Dark Knight 3” but keeping his role a secret for now…

Wow! Christopher Nolan is on a roll with both “Superman” and “Batman”, working on both at the same time, it seems! First Chris hires Zack Snyder to direct, “Superman” and now Chris hires Tom Hardy for a top secret character in, the “Dark Knight 3”. They won’t reveal Tom’s character yet, but everyone is quickly assuming that it could be a villain character.

See the article at, Deadline.

Now, now, people. Settle down. The article never said, that Tom could possibly be playing a villain. I mean, he could, but Tom could still be playing a major good guy character, too. Don’t you think that Tom Hardy could play a good guy character who tries to help, Batman? I’m not saying he could be playing, Robin, but a different Batman character who’s a good guy.

Maybe Tom could be playing, Harold Allnut, who helps Batman with his crazy gadgets and maybe Hush could be the main villain for, “Batman 3”? Something like that could be a possibility. All this talk on Tom playing a lead villain, is just speculation, ’cause I guess that’s what the Deadline article wanted people to do. To play all these silly guessing games for the villain he will be playing.

If Tom is indeed playing a villain, I’d like to see him not playing one of those crazy costumed villains. Maybe Tom could play the role of Joe Chill? Joe Chill is the guy that killed Bruce Wayne’s parents and this could be a nice revenge story.
