“American Sniper” box office hit… could it win “Best Picture” at the Oscars???

Well, it doesn’t really surprise me at all that “American Sniper” would become a box office hit. Why? Probably because Chris Kyle is a pretty popular war hero. They don’t call him a “legend” for nothing. Plus I’m sure Eastwood directing it and Brad Cooper starring in the film helped the box office draw as well.

This movie and the Chris Kyle story itself is definitely more “conservative” than liberal. Why? It’s because “right wingers” are more interested in Chris Kyle than liberals. When was the last time you saw liberals paying their respects to a war hero? When you see a liberal talking about Chris Kyle, chances are they’re gonna be talking about all kinds of negative and disrespectful things about him and stuff. I’ve had idiots on here saying Chris Kyle is not deserving of all this recognition and had a dumb liberal writing me hate mail saying that Chris Kyle is a war monger and murderer.

Liberals don’t really have an interest in war heroes.

Plus, what makes this movie more conservative is that Chris Kyle was totally against gun control. He was a pretty big 2nd amendment supporter and stood up for it. That could be another reason why “right-wingers” respect him.

My question is will “American Sniper” movie win “Best Picture”? I’m hoping and praying. I have a feeling it won’t ’cause “Best Picture” is probably gonna end up going to “Selma”. “American Sniper” would be the right choice to win “Best Picture”. Chris Kyle has never been honored ever since his death and this movie winning “Best Picture” would be the perfect way to honor a war hero. If Obama continues to refuse to honor Chris Kyle, then we’ll honor Chris ourselves in someway and he would have been proud if “American Sniper” won “Best Picture”.

We’ll have to wait and see what happens. Chris K. deserves to be honored and more recognition. His story deserves to get told.

Honestly, I still think Obama had Chris K. murdered. That’s probably why Obama refuses to acknowledge his heroism since his death.

I agree with Rudy Giuliani that Romney needs to focus on Benghazi if he wants to be President…

I will never forget that Obama v. Romney debate on Benghazi during the 2012 elections. Guiliani is right that Romney should have kept hammering the Obama administration on Benghazi in order to get elected. During that Obama vs. Romney debate, Romney was on the right track to call out Obama’s bullshit that it took 14 days for Obama to call Benghazi terrorism but that fat bitch, Candy Crowley, of course protected Obama and cut off the Benghazi debate. Anyway, if we don’t get the truth of Benghazi before the 2016 elections, I definitely think Benghazi will be the main focus by the Republican candidates.

Would I vote for Mitt again? Not sure. I’ll wait to see how he does. I’m probably gonna go for Rand Paul or Ben Carson.

Oscars nominations are out already… thoughts and predictions…

Well the Oscar nominations for 2015 have been revealed this morning so I thought I would give my thoughts and predictions. As usual there are all kinds of snubs like Clint Eastwood for Best Director for example. Isn’t it strange that Eastwood didn’t get Best Director and “American Sniper” gets a Best Picture nomination????

Anyway, here are my brief predictions:

FOREIGN LANGUAGE FILM: This one will definitely go to “Ida”. I did see “Ida” on Netflix streaming and it is a pretty amazing flick. You should check it out yourself.

DIRECTING: Definitely Richard Linklater for “Boyhood”.

ANIMATED FEATURE FILM: I haven’t seen any of those films but I say this award is gonna to, “Big Hero 6” ’cause it’s Disney.

ACTRESS IN A SUPPORTING ROLE: This one will definitely go to Patricia Arquette in “Boyhood”. That was a really good performance.

ACTOR IN A SUPPORTING ROLE: I don’t think Ethan Hawke is gonna win this one but my guess is the award for this category is gonna go to Robby Duvall in “The Judge” even though I haven’t seen the film myself.

ACTRESS IN A LEADING ROLE: I think Rosemund Pike is definitely gonna get this one for her role in “Gone Girl”. If not her then Felicity Jones for “Theory of Everything” (another movie I haven’t seen yet).

ACTOR IN A LEADING ROLE: This award is definitely going to Michael Keaton. I haven’t seen “Birdman” yet but it does looks like that is Michael’s best role. The film does look really good though and I wanna see it myself.

BEST PICTURE: Tough one. Everyone would like to believe that “Boyhood” is probably gonna get a win for this but “Selma” and “American Sniper” also have a very good chance! I wouldn’t be surprised that the Best Picture award will go to “Selma” ’cause that film is about the MLK march and that film has Oprah Winfrey in it. I remember last year’s Oscars, Gary Oldman revealed some pretty big behind the scenes secrets that if the Academy didn’t vote for “12 Years a Slave”, they’re a racist. Same could happen this year with “Selma”. If “Selma” didn’t win then the team behind the Academy would be racists. “Boyhood” maybe in danger of “Selma” winning instead ’cause of all this civil unrest stuff going on in America today.

I haven’t seen “American Sniper” yet but it’s coming out in theaters everywhere tomorrow and I’m gonna see it tomorrow too. Can’t wait to see the movie! Even though I’m sure “American Sniper” is really good, I don’t think it’s gonna win BEST PICTURE ’cause of it’s “conservative” beliefs on a war hero, ya know? The Academy will give the Best Picture winner to something liberal like “Boyhood” or “Selma”.

Song Of The Day: “The Memory Remains” by Metallica…

I don’t get all the “Load” and “Re-load” hate, I thought both were really good albums! The band kept away from thrash metal in these two albums. So what? Big freakin’ deal! That’s what bands do. Go different directions in their music. Get over it and stop the hate! “The Memory Remains” maybe one of their well known hits but I think it’s a pretty amazing song. One of their best radio singles, in my opinion. It’s tight, heavy and catchy.

The Grammy’s finally starting to give rock music more respect? Ac/Dc set to perform award show on TV…

The Grammy Awards have always been dominated by pop, rap and country for many years. Last year’s Grammy’s they had Metallica & Lang Lang, Queens of the Stone Age, NIN perform on TV.

This year they are having Ac/Dc.

I hate the Grammy’s like most but it’s actually kind of cool that they are giving rock n’ roll more respect. Hopefully they don’t put Ac/Dc as the last performer where the Grammy’s would cut their performance at the end of the show like they did with NIN last year. I don’t think the Grammy’s would do that to Ac/Dc though… those guys are iconic rock legends and they don’t wanna disrespect them.

Congrats to Ac/Dc. Yeah, I love the band. Always did and I’ll be watching the Grammy’s just for their performance alone.

“Macho Man” Randy Savage to finally be included in the WWE Hall of Fame…

Took them long enough. The WWE Hall of Fame is just as bad as the Rock N’ Roll Hall of Fame. Too many wrestlers not inducted yet who are deserving.

Yeah, I said Chris Jericho. You may not agree with it but Jericho aka Y2J accomplished a lot in the WWE. He was the first to win the Undisputed Champion and he had too many great feuds & matches over the years. He will definitely make his way in there someday, though. If you think that Jericho doesn’t deserve it, then you are insane. He spent many years in wrestling so he’s definitely considered a legend by now, in my opinion.

Obama White House refusing to call France massacre “terrorism”… no surprise there…

They refused to call Benghazi and the Ft. Hood shootings terrorism… now they are refusing to call this “terrorism”. No surprise there. I know this is Josh Earnest talking but that guy is Obama’s press secretary. It seems like that these the days the Press Secretary’s job is to lie for the president and to pass along whatever the president wants to be said to the press.

America should be very scared of this president but nope. No matter what Obama says or does, there’s nothing wrong with him. They’ll think Obama has every right to be doing what he’s doing no matter the situation. The delusional left will never see the “evil” in this man.

Anything that involves Islam, he refuses to call it “terrorism”. Yet, he’s more worried about the police in America and the Sony hack attacks. Wake up, America, he’s a Muslim sympathizer and terrorist supporter.

Netflix streaming titles coming for month of January: “Friends” sitcom coming New Years Day!!!

I know how popular that show, “Friends” is… admittedly I used to watch it all the time myself. I’m not into sitcoms too much at all. There were only very few sitcoms that I actually liked and “Friends” was one of them. I also liked “Seinfeld”, “Frasier”, “Home Improvement” and “Coach” w/ Craig T. Nelson. Other than that, I’m not a big fan of sitcoms, those were just the few that I liked over the years.

January looks like a pretty good month for streaming movies too.

Movies and TV Shows Coming to Netflix in January 2015

I wish Netflix would update “Sons of Anarchy – Season 7” now that the show is all over with on TV. That’s why I haven’t started watching “Season 6” of Sons of Anarchy so I can watch “6 & 7” back to back. “Sons of Anarchy” is a great show and one of the best. I’ll catch up with the rest of that show as soon as Netflix updates Season 7, I’ll start watching it. I don’t read anything about SOA online ’cause I wanna avoid spoilers and I know “spoilers” are a huge problem for the internet these days.

Robert Orci, dropped from Star Trek 3…

Breaking: Bob Orci Removed from Star Trek 3!

Robert Orci have been suddenly dropped from directing “Star Trek 3”. Nobody’s saying as to why he’s been dropped but since no one is talking yet, I’m thinking he might of gotten fired. That’s what it’s looking like.

Honestly, I don’t care who directs the next Star Trek film. They just need to drop this fucking reboot. I’m tired of it. I don’t like the reboot films at all. It’s not true, “Star Trek”. Many Star Trek fans don’t want this reboot either and for some reason Paramount/Bad Robot are committed to making the sequels of the younger cast. Even though JJ moved on to direct Star Wars, he’s still helping out with “Star Trek 3” ’cause his company Bad Robot is still producing.

Why don’t they just throw this re-boot in the trash and create a whole new Star Trek series? With new characters and new stories and all that stuff. This is science fiction so I’m sure Paramount can come up with something new. Either that or they can give “Deep Space Nine” their first big screen film. Or even better if Paramount can somehow reunite the “The Next Generation” cast, we could have one final TNG movie.

I’m the biggest Star Trek fan and I still think this is a dying franchise. “Star Trek Into Darkness” was complete garbage and I’m sure the next one will be too.

Hollywood really needs to save Star Trek. Pretty badly. Hopefully, “Star Trek 3” will be the last of the reboot with the young cast.

I’m a huge fan of the original Star Trek films and the TNG films. Yeah, I’m a Trekkie and feel proud of it. I grew up my life on Star Trek. Loved this franchise ever since I was a child. I’m one of those few that believes that JJ ruined Trek so hopefully he won’t do the same with Star Wars.

I didn’t watch “Peter Pan” Live last night but I DVR’d it though…

I’ve been wanting to watch “Peter Pan” Live with Allison Williams and Chris Walken last night but I wasn’t home so I DVR’d it. I’m planning to watch it tonight or sometime this weekend. I’ll review it after I watch it. I’m sure it’s good, though. I’ve always loved the Peter Pan story.

I’m sure it got a lot of ratings on TV, though.
