I’ll be watching Wrestlemania 30 tonight!!!

I wasn’t gonna get “Wrestlemania 30” but I ended up getting the ppv tonight so I’ll be watching it. The card for this year’s ‘Mania is actually pretty impressive that it pretty much sold me. I haven’t watched a “Wrestlemania” ppv in a long time so hopefully this is a good one. Matches I’m looking forward to are: Brock Lesnar vs. Undertaker, John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt, Randy Orton vs. Batista, Triple H vs. Daniel Bryan and the 30 Man Battle Royal. I’m really looking forward to the whole thing.

I’m sure they’ll air last night’s “Hall of Fame” ceremony before WM-30 so I’ll be looking forward to that as well.

I haven’t watched a ppv in a long time but I couldn’t resist this one so hopefully this one will be worth the money. I’m sure WWE will do a good job.

I look most forward to Brock Lesnar vs. Undertaker, though. That’s gonna be a great match. I don’t think Undertaker is gonna lose the Wrestlemania streak tonight but if he does, that will be shocking and history making. We’ll see.

I’ll write a full review of ‘Mania either later tonight or tomorrow.

Richard Donner the man himself finally confirms, “Goonies” sequel is happening…

I hate TMZ like most people and rarely report anything from them here but I think this one is worth it. For many years, there have been talk of a “Goonies” sequel reuniting the original cast (pictured above). Will we see the return of Mikey, Mouth, Brand, Data, Chunk, Andy and Stef back on the big screen for one more time? Richard Donner says he’s gonna try to bring back everybody from the first movie.

http://www.tmz.com/2014/04/05/richard-donner-goonies-sequel-finally-happening/

The first “Goonies” is one of my favorite films of all time. I’ve seen that film too many times and it’s one of those movies you can watch over and over again. I loved that movie ever since I was a child. I’m sure we’ll get a lot of complainers and doubters about this… they will be like, “Hollywood is running out of ideas” but to be honest with you, I think a sequel is a good idea.

It’ll be interesting to see what the kids lives would be like years after the events of the first film. I think it be cool if they go on another adventure together and make another pirate discovery like they did in the first film.

Mama Fratelli and Sloth won’t be able to come back because the actors who played those characters died in real life. I can see the Fratelli brothers coming back though. It’ll be kind of cool to see Joe Pantoliano and Robert Davi back as Francis and Jake.

While most of the original cast have moved on to different things… a few of the cast are big movie stars now… there might be a big possibility of them returning. The original cast maybe older but as you can see in the photo above, they still look GREAT together. Josh Brolin would obviously be the biggest star of them all by now, though.

Another thing to keep in mind, the actor who plays Chunk is not overweight anymore so we probably won’t see the return of the truffle shuffle. 😦

I’m all for the sequel. Bring it on! \m/

Why I don’t play live too much or hardly at all…

Some may wonder why I don’t gig too much. Ya know, play my songs live on the stage in front of people. I could go out there more and my play my songs in front of people but the reason I don’t is simply because I don’t care to. I don’t look at music like a job like many out there do. I don’t live in rock star fantasy land, ya know? I’m just into music just for the pure fun of it and just in it for the love of it. I never cared to make money off of music ’cause that’s not what I do this for. Too many bands and artists in this day and age are obsessed with making money and being at the center of everyone’s attention. I don’t have to be like that, ya know? So many bands just gig on a weekly basis and waste a lot of money on studio time/CD manufacturing when they don’t really need to do all that.

What ever happened to making music for the pure enjoyment of it as a hobby of some sort? That’s how I look at my music life. I never looked at music as a “professional” career like many do. It’s very rare these days. There are too many bands and artists who are obsessed with “perfection” with their music when music doesn’t always have to be about “perfection” ’cause “perfection” in music to me is overrated. You don’t need to follow trends in music. You don’t need to play music what others want to hear. Just play music to whatever makes you happy. Music is here for you.

I just read an interesting interview by John Frusciante in this month’s Guitar World, and he said, “I just don’t believe in that game of pretending with music in order to make money and get attention”. He also explained that it’s unhealthy for a musician to live their lives by playing live more than just writing/creating. He doesn’t think it’s healthy for a musician to be on stage all the time and seek attention. I agree with him. Frusciante is a guy who doesn’t care for fame and money at all which is why he left the Chilli Peppers ’cause he felt the workload overwhelmed him and he just wanted to make music for himself and enjoy life.

That’s pretty much how I feel.

Bands/artists are obsessed with attention and money ’cause I still blame it on the mainstream music industry. They all wanna be “stars”. I don’t have to be that. I just want to make music for me although I appreciate the support of my listeners/fans who came to believe in me.

You don’t need to be all fancy in music. To record music, all you need is a cheap home recording rig. Maybe ProTools or an Ipad w/ Garage Band. That’s all you pretty much need. You don’t need to spend lots of money in a studio. When you’re an unsigned musician, you can release music however you want to. You don’t always have to force people to pay to listen to your music. I just like sharing it and getting people to hear it. The internet is a good tool to share your art. I miss the old days when original local bands/artists used to throw music online for people to hear and to share it but it isn’t like that anymore. These days, everybody wants you to pay for something in order to hear their music online and to me that’s pretty shady.

There are very few bands around this area who believe in the Free Music Movement and the Lucky Jukebox Brigade is one of them.

Music should be a community. Where musicians share each other songs, get feedback on it and getting non-musicians to listen to your stuff as well. Nope. It isn’t like that anymore. All bands wanna do is promote themselves to death more than making music and obsessed with playing live. All the promotion of your music, playing live and all that silly stuff is just a distraction from making music.

I don’t care to play live. Playing live is like meaning-less to me. There’s nothing special about playing music in some small place to play for a few people.

Don’t get me wrong, though, I do like playing “live”… I’m just not that obsessed with it. If I got the opportunity to play live, I look at it as something fun. I’ll never look at playing live on stage as a job. I’ll look at playing live on stage as a way to share my songs to people. That’s why I never cared to get paid playing shows. I’m always willing to do free shows. I don’t even care to get paid a few bucks off of playing a gig. I never cared about money playing live. Just wanna share my art for the people who like my music and hopefully attract new listeners.

When I do play live, though, it’ll be only when the time is right and when I’m ready. I’m not that obsessed with playing shows daily or weekly. I don’t need that kind of stress. Playing a show once in a while is a cool thing to do.

As a musician, you don’t need to play live with your music. It’s a choice whether you want to or not.  Just make music for the internet, that’s what I prefer to do more.

As far as playing a show again at a venue, will I? It all depends if it’s the right thing, ya know? If it’s the right venue, the right promoters/bookers, if the bands/musicians on the bill are right, etc. I’ll think about considering it. Only when the opportunity comes up. I don’t really mind playing a few shows a year or none at all. When I get enough new originals written, we’ll see. I might book a show in support of my planned, “internet album”, I wanna get in the works.

Seattle Police facing lawsuit after Kurt Cobain death photos have been publicly released…

With today being the 20th Anniversary of the death of Kurt Cobain, The Seattle police are being sued by an investigative journalist named Richard Lee, who strongly believes that Kurt was murdered. He was unfairly labeled as a “conspiracy theorist”.

http://loudwire.com/seattle-police-lawsuit-kurt-cobain-photos/

My thoughts on this is that I think it is wrong and unfair for Richard Lee to get labeled as a “conspiracy theorist”. I also think it’s wrong for people to accuse him of trying to make money off of Kurt’s death which is total bullshit. He’s not the only one who think Kurt was murdered. Most Nirvana fans and most of Kurt’s supporters think he was murdered as well. When it was announced that the 4 rolls of film was found and the Seattle police was going to release them publicly, fans immediately responded thinking Kurt was murdered. Richard Lee is like the rest of us. He just wants answers out of Kurt’s “suicide”. This is just his way of fighting back and trying to get them to re-open the case.

It’s really the Seattle police trying to make money off of Kurt’s death, not Richard Lee. That’s why they found the photos and released the photos hoping to make more money off of them. They also did it hoping to shut people up about their thoughts that he was “murdered”. Well, it’s not working. There are still a lot of people who believe Kurt was murdered so are you gonna call them “conspiracy theorists” too? They aren’t conspiracy theorists, that is what they believe in.

Whether you agree it was murder or not, Kurt’s death STILL should be investigated. It sounds pretty suspicious and fishy. Richard Lee was just trying to let the police know that Kurt shouldn’t be ignored. The Seattle Police deserved the lawsuit. They released the photos publicly and they claimed nothing came out of them? How come the police aren’t the bad guys in this?

“Expendables 3” trailer with footage from film is finally here…is this really the last film???

The trailer for “EX3” with Stallone, Statham, Schwarzenegger and a bunch of other iconic action stars is finally here. This film adds a mix of a new team with older stars and younger stars. Older stars such as Snipes, Ford, Gibson, and Grammer. The younger stars are Rhonda Rousey and others. Even though they are promoting this as the final Expendables movie… I don’t think this is the last one for good. It definitely looks like it’s setting up for a re-boot of some sort. I’m sure Hollywood will continue these movies even though Sly wants to move on. Look like Sly only wanted this franchise to be a trilogy and not a long-series of sequels.

Sly can’t star in every Expendables sequel, ya know? The man is getting old.

I remember Sly said in the past that he is on the verge of retirement from acting and he says he still has some acting left in him before he hangs it up. That’s why he’s been coming out with movies like crazy. When he retires from acting, he said he won’t be done with Hollywood for good. He said he wants to focus on screenwriting for other movies (he wrote the “Homefront” movie that stars Jason Statham but Sly didn’t star in) and he said he wants to do more directing. He also said he wants to get one more Rambo film off the ground too so hopefully that happens.

Enjoy the trailer. I’m looking forward to this one.

Is James Franco a sexual predator of underage girls? Something tells me this wasn’t the first time he’s done it…

These are the kind of things that goes on in Hollywood. This girl is only responding to James Franco because she is probably thrilled that a big Hollywood movie star is talking to her in a back and forth chat. James’s “celebrity” status is making him think he can get any girl he pleases… it’s his huge ego. The guy maybe a talented actor but in real life, he can be a bit of a whack-job. Just look at his “selfie” obsession for proof on that.

I think this guy should get arrested and get questioned. Maybe there should be a new TV show, “To catch a ‘celebrity’ predator”, hosted by Chris Hansen again. James is only 35 years old and he’s talking to her like a teenage boy as you can clearly see, that’s some good acting, James.

http://www.cinemablend.com/pop/James-Franco-Accused-Trying-Bed-17-Year-Girl-63185.html

I hate that instagram site anyway. You would never see me on it ’cause I don’t take a lot of photos. I’m not that obsessed with it.

When musicians become successful in music, just my two cents of advice which I know you will never take…

I am happy and proud that any band or solo artist want to achieve their dreams and go forward in their careers. I am not jealous of any of them at all. What I can’t stand is how a lot of them respond to people online when they do get bigger. It’ll only hurt you professionally… in other words, bands showing their anger online and losing their tempers at people, especially toward the ones who were nothing but supportive and helpful to them. The successful bands have always had a problem of defending themselves online through social networking, bloggers, and critics.

You see, when you get big in music… you can’t reply to the critics and bloggers. You can’t really respond to anything.

Usually, the more bigger and more successful and established musicians wouldn’t care about the drama and negative bullshit online. They don’t have time for that stuff and they would be focusing on their careers on a full time schedule. I’m sure other successful bands and artists around this area won’t like me or won’t like what I have to say online but they don’t use the internet to vent about my web presence ’cause they have better things to do. Like making their music, playing their gigs and all that stuff.

Why aren’t you doing the same? When the more successful bands respond to my web presence like making fun of me or bullying me publicly, they are not a real musician. I’ll look at them as “rock stars in their own delusional mind”. I’ve had this problem before of successful musicians replying to me in an aggressive way. It’s nothing new to me and it still happens.

The thing is, some musicians like to call themselves “professionals”. Well it’s not professional when you respond to the critics online. Sorry but that’s the truth. I understand that bands get kind of upset over my opinions and thoughts about the local music scene but I have every right to be honest and real about this stuff all I want to.

Let me tell ya something. If you guys wanna move forward to bigger careers like possibly get signed to a small indie label or whatever… you’re going to get a lot more bloggers and critics writing stuff about your band or whatever. Not everyone in the music industry is gonna like you. Just something to keep in mind, right? If that’s all you gonna do is respond to the online critics defending yourselves, then you don’t have what it takes to make it big in the industry.

The bigger you get, you really have to have a professional attitude at all times. You really can’t be yourself as much as you would like to. You have to leave your ego at the door and respect all criticism of any kind.

I wish these so called “musicians” wouldn’t have to worry about what I have to say online. If that’s all their gonna do is obsess with my web presence even if they don’t like me, then they aren’t as successful as they claim they are. If they think they are so “successful” in this area and so big, I want them to prove me wrong. Stay busy with your music and only concentrate on that. Don’t worry about me. Worry about your music.

I wish noting but the best for all of them. Stop replying to my blog and just do your thing. The more you respond with your anger, the more it’s gonna turn me off and I’ll stop supporting your music altogether. I stopped supporting a lot of bands and solo musicians music ’cause of their unprofessional attitude. They think they’re “professional” but they don’t even know what it is. Just amatuers living in dreamland.

This post isn’t aimed at anyone in particular, I’m only giving kind advice to all bands and artists. Of course, if you disagree with it, I would only get called a hateful jealous little troll.

Best of luck with your music ’cause you’re gonna need it.

Confirmed: Miriam Carey shot in the back of head by Capitol Police… she was also not on drugs…

Remember that woman Miriam Carey who was shot dead by police and secret service agents after she tried to crash into a White House gate? The media accused her of being on drugs and being “mentally ill”. All that stuff. It’s turning out that stuff is not really true ’cause she didn’t have any drugs in her system. She wasn’t really trying to crash into the White House gate either, in this article, looks like she was trying to make a U-turn and turn around.

She was an innocent woman killed for no reason. She’s another one who may have connections with Barack Obama and this is why I feel that she’s another one of his murder victims. Another innocent murder victim killed “mysteriously” under the Obama administration.

Of course, Obama defenders would disagree, I know. They’re always gonna call her a crazy woman who deserved to get killed and would think Barack had nothing to do with it no matter the situation. Obama defenders would think this was either an accident or the police did the right thing.

This is just police brutality and them taking orders by none other than, Barack. She’s just another one of those “mysterious” accidents under Barack Obama.

Mom killed by Capitol cops was shot in the back

I don’t get this administration. We have so many innocent people getting killed for no reason mysteriously: Miriam Carey, Loretta Fuddy, the victims of Benghazi, Operation F&F, etc. and no answers have come out of any of them. If you think Barack has nothing to do with any of them, you’re fucking delusional. He really needs to be investigated and needs to be held accountable.

I’ve always believed that we may have our first “murderer” President and I’m sticking with it.

The Art of Screaming app…

Last night, I just bought this app for the Ipod Touch…

https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/art-screaming-create-your/id514202275?mt=8

It’s an instructional app for singing. It’s not just for singing, it also teaches you how to SCREAM. If you wanna sing the lead in rock and metal bands, this is a good app that’ll teach you to scream or if you just wanna learn how to sing better.

I used this vocal instruction DVD titled, “Metal Method’s Vocal Power” w/ Jim Gillette but I wanted something a little different to work with so I discovered, “The Art of Screaming” app through a Guitar World article online.

As some of you know, I’m trying to learn how to sing better. I wanna sing more professionally and improve. Learn how to sing with a more powerful range and become stronger in my singing.

I checked out the “Art of Screaming” app for a little bit last night and I think it’s gonna help me. It’s a pretty cheap app. Price not that bad. I would recommend it for all singers out there.

Yeah, I’m doing my very best hoping to become a great singer. Becoming a great singer doesn’t happen over night. It does indeed takes years of practice and learning. I’ve been trying to learn how to sing for years. I haven’t been liking my voice in the past and I figure I would step-up and try to get better. It’s working and I’m proud.

My goal is to sing like a rock n’ roll singer instead of an acoustic/folk kind of guy, ya know what I mean? I’m thinking about starting or joining a cover band someday.

Sarah Palin calls Vladimir Putin on “The Tonight Show” w/ Jimmy Fallon…

Whether you like Sarah Palin or not, you have to admit that this segment on Jimmy Fallon last night was pretty funny as hell. Jimmy Fallon maybe a democrat/left-winger kind of guy but this shows he supports “right-wingers” and their opinions. He doesn’t mind right-winger politicians appearing on his show.

Finally, Jimmy does something good for once! I liked this. Sarah did a good job. She can do comedy pretty well.
