Wow. Trump’s visit to Saudi Arabia this weekend is pretty historic for sure. Liberals spent all year calling Trump a bigot, Islamophobic, Xenophobic and all kinds of names. Making ridiculous claims that he hates Muslims. Bernie Sanders, HRC and die-hard liberals did all that to Trump.
Well here ya go, liberals. Trump seems to be enjoying himself in a Muslim country and they seem to be enjoying him too. They gave him a warm welcome in Saudi and liberals hate it. Liberals tried to make it look like Trump hated Muslims and this weekend those claims has been shut down for good. It’s pissing liberals off as they hate being wrong.
Trump had a historic speech at an Arab Summit today which I did watch speaking about Islamic terrorism to Muslim world leaders which was pretty ballsy.
I used to be against Islam totally but after seeing what happened in Saudi with Trump’s visit, maybe Muslims are pretty cool after all? Maybe Islam isn’t that bad but it’s radical Islam we’re trying to stop. Big difference.
I’m seeing that liberals are going crazy. Going out of their minds seeing that Trump doesn’t hate Muslims and Muslims don’t hate him. Pretty funny stuff. LMAO!
Metallica is set to perform the headlining slot for tomorrow’s Rock on the Range festival in Columbus, Ohio and you know Metallica will probably tribute Chris Cornell in some way. They will probably perform a Soundgarden cover, I would think but what song would they do?
I hope Metallica doesn’t do “Outshined” ’cause I’m thinking that song has been overplayed by a lot of metal bands out there. I think James Hetfield would sound great singing, “Jesus Christ Pose”, “Room a Thousand Years Wide”, “Searching With My Good Eye Closed”, “Big Dumb Sex”, “The Day I Tried To Live”, “My Wave”, “Limo Wreck” and “Rhinosaur” (a song off “Down on The Upside” album).
I’m sure James and the boys will do something for Chris ’cause I’m sure Soundgarden was a major influence on Metallica. I’m sure Soundgarden and Metallica both played shows together in the past before but I’m not sure how many times, though. I do know that Metallica and Soundgarden were on Lollapalooza ’96 together. That’s about all I know.
We’ll have to wait to see what Metallica are gonna do. I’m sure Metallica will put on a killer set like they always do. I’ve always liked listening to Metallica live.
Even though Chris Cornell passed on yesterday, Soundgarden is still scheduled to perform at Rock on the Range festival tonight in Columbus, OH as a headlining act. The question is will Soundgarden still play tonight? Did the surviving members Kim Thayil, Ben Shepherd and Matt Cameron get a last minute replacement for a new singer or will they use Chris’s pre-recorded vocal tracks?
We still don’t know if Soundgarden will even play tonight ’cause they might cancel on the last minute. They might cancel the rest of their tour ’cause they have 6 more dates left.
They might not be able to go on without Chris Cornell so I’m predicting a breakup is gonna get announced by the band possibly sometime today.
I can’t see Soundgarden moving on without Chris so they probably won’t play tonight. The band will probably break up and call it quits.
I’m sure the Festival will honor Chris in some way tonight which will be interesting. I’m sure all the bands will be paying their respects to Chris on that festival all weekend. I also predict a lot of bands on this Festival will be performing Soundgarden covers for sure. I’m sure Metallica will put on a tribute for Chris for their set this Sunday. Maybe even Metallica will perform a Soundgarden cover ’cause that would be badass.
Sad and heartbreaking news. The music industry lost another music legend but this music legend was an important one. He was important to all of us.
Chris Cornell was mostly known for being the lead singer and guitarist for the Seattle metal band, Soundgarden. Everybody liked to call them a grunge band but I always looked at their music as “metal”. Soundgarden has been a huge part of all of our lives whether you were into their music or not. They were definitely a huge part of mine.
I was a young teenager during the 90’s when all this so-called “grunge” music was going on: Nirvana, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Alice In Chains, etc. All of their videos were being played all over MTV back in those days and all of their songs were being played on the radio. Soundgarden pretty much started the whole 90’s hard rock movement.
If you’re a long time Soundgarden fan then chances are, you may have seen them in concert before. Maybe you saw them once, maybe you saw them many times. I never saw them before wishing I did, though. When I was a kid during junior high back in those days, I would listen to Soundgarden albums on CD: “Badmotorfinger” and “The Superunknown” were two albums that I listened to a lot during my high school years. I was also a big fan of the Temple of the Dog album too.
I was always fascinated with Chris’s voice. He was undeniable the greatest singing voice in rock n’ roll. The man had it all vocally. He could sing really low to high pitch screams.
I followed Soundgarden’s career over the years and even followed Chris Cornell’s solo career after Soundgarden’s breakup. Then Soundgarden reunited to release the latest album, “King Animal”.
Chris Cornell was one of the biggest inspirations to me of wanting to become a musician. He was the one who helped me want to become a singer myself.
Then we have Audioslave which is another Cornell band that I followed, I have all three of their albums. For Chris Cornell solo albums, I only have three of them “Carry On”, “Euphoria Morning” and “Higher Truth”. I tried to follow all of his projects as much as I could.
I just loved listening to him sing like everyone else. He’s just one of those singers you would never get tired of hearing. Each time you hear him sing, he gives you goosebumps.
One overlooked thing about Chris Cornell is that while he’s a great singer and guitarist, he was also one of the best lyricists too. He would write unique lyrics. He had a different style of lyric writing and his lyrics was always so deep and inspiring. A lot of people don’t recognize him for his amazing style of lyric writing. When I listen to his music, I’ve always read along to his lyrics as he sings ’cause his lyrics were so amazing.
Chris Cornell was a hero of mine and an inspiration to my own music as well. Thanks Chris, you are now up there with Andrew Wood of Mother Love Bone doing a duet together.
There, take that Fake News MSM you bunch of douchebags! The real President Trump is back!
Fake News MSM maybe obsessed with Trump’s twitter bashing almost every tweet he posts, Trump just posted a tweet that the media will ignore for sure. Media and Congress wants to investigate him, why isn’t Obama & Hillary being investigated for their gov. crimes???
Media wants to investigate Trump for crimes that are made up and didn’t even happen but the crimes of Hillary & Obama did happen. Big difference. Obama & Hillary both have loads of gov. crimes most notably Benghazi.
If Trump wants to solve all of his problems, he needs to lock up Obama & Hillary ’cause they are the ones that are trying to take him down.
Obama needs to be investigated for his fake birth certificate too. While I love Trump and all, I disagree with him moving on from the birth certificate thing.
I usually hate these things in facebook but just for the hell of it, I decided to do this one to see what it’ll say about me but surprisingly enough this was pretty accurate and dead-on really.
A lot of people said I was a pretty mean person over the years (which I’ll take as a compliment, btw) but I never thought I was a mean person. I’m just a guy who is not afraid to speak my mind. Like this thing said, I just say what I think which is totally true. I’ve always been like that for years and still am now.
I’m nice to people sure but if you want to talk to me, you’re going to get some honesty and I don’t care if it hurts people. I’ve always spoke my mind and not afraid to but unfortunately that isn’t gonna make everyone happy, lol.
That’s okay, though, I’m just being me and there’s nothing wrong with that.
There’s a lot of rock bands over the years who had mixed feelings about performing in Israel. As you know, many rock and metal bands are pretty liberal people as well so a lot of famous bands have boycotted playing in Israel since they have so much hatred for that country and sides more with Iran.
I don’t think you’ll ever see Roger Waters performing a concert in Israel at all ’cause he’s an Israel hater and he’s much of a supporter for Iran.
I’m sure other rock music legends have performed in Israel in the past but Aerosmith is more than willing to give Israel some entertainment which is what those people need. Israel is obviously under the threat of Iran so I thank Aerosmith for supporting Israel and putting smiles on their faces since that country is going through some hard times.
It’s a shame that some are against Israel. A lot of bands who turns against Israel and sides with Iran instead should feel ashamed of themselves.
Thanks Aerosmith, makes me a fan of that band even more!
I don’t have a band right now but I would like to form a band of my own. That way we can jam out some original hard rock songs and covers too! Since I don’t have a band as of this moment, I can figure out a way to make full band tracks through DAW software.
For DAW software, I have Mixcraft 8 which is great for that. With that software, I can program my own drums on it. For bass lines in the rock songs? I don’t have a bass guitar as of this moment but there is a little trick where I can play bass behind my songs.
I can create bass lines by just using a regular six string guitar. I can make it sound like a real bass guitar by lowering the pitch down an octave in my DAW ’cause a bass guitar is tuned down an octave. To make it sound like a real bass, I can lower the pitch down an octave, use compression and equalizer to make it sound like a real bass. I’ll figure it out somehow. I’m still learning and researching this stuff so it’ll take some time.
I definitely would like to make a full band rock demo or even a real album. Would be cool. I’ve always wanted to make heavy music and figure it’s about time to do that.
I do know that there are probably some other musicians that read my blog especially the musicians who play guitar who continues to follow me. If you’re looking to improve your guitar playing chops a company called Fundamental Changes has some great guitar instructional books and their books are pretty inexpensive too.
I bought 4 of their books for my Ipad. From their collection of books, I own: “Melodic Rock Soloing For Guitar”, “Rock Rhythm Guitar Playing”, “Heavy Metal Rhythm Guitar” and “Heavy Metal Lead Guitar”.
The one I’m working on now is “Melodic Rock Soloing for Guitar” and I’m on Chapter 2, learning their string bending techniques which is fun. I want to improve my soloing so these books could help me.
There are more books of theirs I want to get though… soon I would like to get “Progressive Metal Guitar”, and I want to get “Rhythm and Notation for Drums”. I don’t have a drum set but I do have virtual drums on Garageband and Mixcraft softwares. I want to make my own drum tracks behind my songs so I’m studying drums even though I don’t own a drum set so that’s another reason why I want to get really good at timing & rhythm.
I like learning from guitar instructional books when I can that company I spoke about above is really good. Check them out.
I was trying to find books that would help improve my rock and metal playing and these books would do it.
We all know the real reason why Tim Allen was fired off ABC. Simply because Tim Allen went on Jimmy Kimmel to talk about what it’s like being conservative in Hollywood and he said it’s like being in 1930’s Germany. Meaning he just exposed how one-sided liberal Hollywood is. Well that angered ABC so they got rid of him and his show “Last Man Standing” which is a sitcom that he stars in.
ABC responds and their reasoning is different, they said the reason for the cancellation is that they don’t want to do comedies anymore on Friday nights. What?
We know ABC is lying about the reason they fired Tim Allen. They fired him ’cause he’s conservative and a Trump supporter. If they didn’t want comedies on Friday nights they could have simply moved “Last Man Standing” to a different night, ya know? Instead, they canned the whole show. So that’s a sign right there they definitely have a negative grudge against Tim Allen.
Sad. ABC has been Tim Allen’s home for years as his hit show “Home Improvement” was aired on that show during the 90’s. Not only our news media is corrupt to the core, our entertainment industry is corrupt to the core as well. Kind of strange that ABC would get rid of “Last Man Standing” and then they greenlight the “Roseanne” revival show. Keep in mind, Roseanne Barr is a conservative and she’s a Trump supporter too.
Ah well, I don’t see “Last Man Standing” ending for good. It’ll probably get a new network. Maybe Netflix will pick it up.
Tim Allen is a talented man. I’ve been watching him through sitcoms and big screen movies for most of my life.
