FBI Director, James Comey finally fired but I don’t agree with Trey Gowdy taking over, Sheriff David Clarke please!!!

It’s great news that Comey has finally got the boot as FBI director by President Trump but I don’t agree with Trump supporters choice of Trey Gowdy replacing him. Why? Simply because Trey Gowdy failed the Benghazi investigation. Gowdy should have taken his time with the Select Committee but he rushed it. Gowdy promised he would investigate everything but didn’t do that. Instead, he let Hillary go unscathed. He’s another loser who refuses to jail Hillary.

I don’t get why Trump supporters has a huge hardon for Gowdy when it took him a long time to get on the Trump Train. Remember, Gowdy was all about Rubio before endorsing Trump. Gowdy was weak on illegal immigration too so no Gowdy as FBI director.

I used to love Gowdy but the man disappointed me during his so-called Benghazi investigation. Gowdy even disappointed Trump himself so take that for what you will:

DeSantis is smart to highlight that Trump could only serve one term

I love other Trump supporters but sometimes I believe even they can be out of touch with a lot of things.

I’m sure Trump will find a great replacement who will take the law seriously. As for my choice for replacement, I think Sheriff Clarke would be perfect. I prefer him over Gowdy, honestly. Read Sheriff Clarke’s book “Cop Under Fire” and you would see that he takes the law very seriously.

I wouldn’t be surprised that Trump will pick a complete unknown as FBI director, though. Whoever he chooses, I’m sure will be great.

This is what “draining the swamp” looks like and it’s only the beginning.

The National Enquirer has been right about things before, if they are right about Richard Simmons… it’s not libel…

I know the National Enquirer is a tabloid but do they always make up stuff? Not always! There are times when they actually report “real news” and the more they do that, the more I believe “The National Enquirer” is a credible source of news. The tabloid newspaper has been right on more than one occasion most notably John Edwards affair with Rielle Hunter.

Could the National Enquirer end up being right about Richard Simmons transitioning into a woman?

http://www.cbsnews.com/news/national-enquirer-defends-richard-simmons-stories-after-he-files-lawsuit/

If this lawsuit gets the greenlight, that means Simmons himself would have to come out of hiding ’cause he might have to appear in court. Simmons maybe asking for money in damages but if he loses and National Enquirer turns out right after all then Simmons will get nothing.

If Simmons disappeared all of a sudden then he’s definitely hiding something. Many on the internet are saying that Simmons abusive housekeeper is holding him captive which is ridiculous, in my opinion. Simmons is a rich man, he can go out anytime he pleases.

He’s absolutely hiding something. What is he afraid of? Why did he turn anti-social all of a sudden? Why did he leave public life and vanish? If you don’t think he has something to hide then you’re definitely messed up.

Is he afraid that his transitioning into a woman might destroy his career?

Learning more about electric guitars and pickups…

In a blog post when I was talking about my new Mitchell HD400 guitar, I made a mistake about the pickups. When I was talking about the pickups on my new HD400, I called them “Humbuckers” which they aren’t. Humbuckers are covered pickups, these metal objects that cover the coils. I have two humbuckers on my Ibanez Hollowbody electric and on my old Hondo II electric. On my Mitchell HD400, I have two double-coil pickups and a single coil that aren’t “covered”.

The Mitchell HD400 guitar is my first electric guitar that I’ve got with uncovered pickups. I am noticing the differences of sound between a humbucker pickup and uncovered pickups. It’s pretty interesting anyways.

During research, I’m reading that covered pickups will block the humming sounds and other unwanted noise but uncovered, you’ll get the humming sounds. Through uncovered pickups, the sound is a lot brighter than humbuckers, though.

A lot of metal guitarists prefers humbucker pickups more than the uncovered pickups. To be honest, I’m finding that uncovered pickups sound a lot better than the covered humbuckers. The Mitchell HD400 guitar is my first electric with uncovered coils and having a Floyd Rose bridge.

I love my Mitchell HD400. Made in China but fuck it, the guitar is badass and perfect for playing hard rock & metal.

When I start writing hard rock songs, what would they sound like? Like always, I won’t go super heavy but heavy enough. Probably write original songs inspired by the likes of Nirvana, Soundgarden, Megadeth, Metallica, etc. That type of sound.

Vocally, I have been trying to sing like a rock singer. My voice has gotten stronger with more range and more power. Trying to sing like a metal guy with more grit and more growls too.

When I start writing hard rock songs, people might be surprised by some of the stuff I’m planning on writing. I just want to write really tight rock n’ roll. Stuff that metal lovers would like. Plus, make music that I would want to hear for myself. There’s nothing wrong with liking your own music and enjoying your own music. I just want to write songs that I’m proud of, ya know? If my songs make other people proud then I would be flattered by that sure.

I’m definitely am going to focus on electric guitar more ’cause I feel it’s finally time for me to rock. Would I find a drummer and a bass player to jam with? Yeah, definitely. I’m gonna try. Would like to form a band of my own. Been dreaming of that for a long time.

“Blade Runner: 2049” trailer is finally here and it looks freakin’ awesome! Can’t wait!!!

Well the new “Blade Runner: 2049” trailer is here and it looks freakin’ awesome. I’m a huge Blade Runner fan. Love the first film and can’t wait to see this one. This film here looks like it might be the best film of the year. This is one of those movies that I’m most excited for.

Yes, there are several other movies I’m looking forward to see like “Star Wars Episode 8”, “Justice League”, “Wonder Woman”, “Stephen King’s IT” and “The Dark Tower”. All of these movies look real good but I look most forward to “Blade Runner: 2049”.

Glad Harrison is back for this one and can’t wait to see it!

I don’t get all the hate for Nirvana and Kurt’s guitar playing… why?

Whenever Nirvana is mentioned anywhere on the internet, it doesn’t matter where, then chances are you’re going to see a mixed reaction. You’ll see all kinds of hate and love for the band. You’ll see a bunch of people criticizing the band quite a lot. Talking shit about Kurt’s singing and guitar playing.

I’ve been a loyal Nirvana fan for years and still am. My love for them hasn’t stopped. Sure Kurt’s guitar playing was kind of sloppy and mostly basic stuff but still, he was pretty amazing at what he did. He still wrote some pretty fucking tight songs. When you’re a musician, you don’t need to be a perfectionist to write killer rock songs.

In the video footage above which I’ve just seen for the first time, all that is proof that Kurt was very talented. You don’t need to be a technical guitar player to write killer rock songs. It’s about playing guitar with feeling and that’s what Kurt did.

Before Nirvana became famous, Nirvana were pretty much nothing when they first started out. They were just three young kids playing at Krist’s mothers house and as you can see in the videos above, their audience was just a couple of their drunk friends. This video footage proves that Nirvana came a long way. They went from playing in a small room in a house to playing huge arena shows.

It seems that Nirvana already had the songs “About a Girl” and “School” from the very beginning. Look at that video above. Even though they’re just playing in a small room at Krist’s Mom’s house, they still pretend they’re playing at Madison Square Garden or something. In that video you can tell they love doing it by the way they play. Playing with energy. That’s how a rock band should play.

I freakin’ love Nirvana and if I ever form a rock band of my own, we’re definitely gonna be covering some Nirvana songs just for fun.

I’m gonna get into comic book collecting full time, I think… definitely gonna!!!

So yesterday, I went to my very first comic book convention. I’ve never been to one before. I went to Saratoga Comic Con yesterday and spent the whole day there pretty much. I made sure I had some spending cash on me so I can buy all kinds of cool stuff for myself and I did! You know those conventions. They are those type of places where you’ll hope you won’t spend all your money but you end up doing that anyways.

I used to buy comics when I was a young kid but thinking about getting back into it after all these years. I want to start comic book collecting full time. A new hobby I want to pick up. Something new and different, ya know? I want to get into comic book buying, not only to have as a valuable collector’s item but also I just like reading the stories ’cause some of the stories in those superhero comics can be really amazing stuff. I’ve been getting into reading comics and graphic novels more.

As you can see in the pics above, I picked up a bunch of comics for myself. Mostly Superman comics since Superman is my favorite. I also picked up a few Batman comics, a couple of Punishers and Wolverines. In the DC universe, Superman and Batman are my favorite superheroes. In the Marvel Universe, The Punisher and Wolverine are my favorite. So I’ll probably buy comics of mostly those 4 characters. I’ll try reading comics of other superheroes too.

Saratoga Comic Con was interesting and I’m definitely gonna go next year. Will go every year. I may be late getting into the comic collecting bandwagon but late is better than never. It was a fun day yesterday. Got to see and do a lot of interesting things. Check out my instagram page for more pics of me at the event if you want.

How am I doing in yoga so far???

So I’ve been sticking with yoga for a few months or more and I’ve been feeling really good. I got into yoga and been wanting to get into it for a long time. Thank god for the public gym in my hometown. I remember the days in my hometown where there was no fitness gym and now there is one. Thankfully they have all kinds of classes at the gym which is called the Battenkill Branch (or the Y).

I’ve gotten into Yoga ’cause I needed the flexibility. Plus, it’s a good stress reliever is another reason I go. Yoga not only helps builds you more strength, more flexibility… it’s also meditation. I kind of always wanted to get into meditation too ’cause it really helps you think. Meditation really helps clears your head and gets your mind off all the negative bullshit and crazy stuff going on in your life. Definitely makes you feel happier and more confident ’cause each time I do a yoga session at the Y, I feel like that I love myself each time. It really does help make me feel happier and become a more confident and fearless person.

Other than that, I’m getting real good at yoga. Still can’t do a lot of poses since I’m not that flexible yet but each time I do a yoga session, I feel a little more flexibility each time. I’m definitely feeling it. I still can’t do leg splits yet but got a lot of work to do. I guess getting a flexible body is a slow process so I’m going to be patience and stay committed.

So far, I’ve been at Yoga every week, only had a few weeks off but I still practice yoga poses at home all the time. I’m getting better at the balancing, though. I guess that takes a lot of practice.

I can’t do tree poses yet either but working on that.

I’m not gonna take photos or videos of me doing yoga poses until I get real good at that stuff which would be a while.

Yoga is an amazing feeling, though. I can see why yoga is really popular and mainstream now. Yoga really does work. Yoga is not just for women, it can be for men too. There are men that go to my yoga class even though it’s mostly women that go to them.

I like yoga class ’cause it’s a good opportunity to meet new people and I have met new people through that class which feels good. Haven’t made any new friends from that class yet but I know some of their names and they know mine… we have small talk and stuff but that’s about it. Will I get myself a date with a woman from a yoga session? Who knows, there are some smoking looking women with hot bodies that go there. Sometimes I do say hello to some of the ladies in there and have small talk and that’s all.

I love yoga. Glad I finally got into it and I would recommend you give it a shot too.

Just got my new Mitchell HD400 electric guitar today! It’s a keeper for sure! A badass axe!!!

Well it came! It came here pretty safely and unharmed too. My new Mitchell HD400. I ended up getting the black one. It not only looks badass, it sounds badass too. The guitar costs $399.99 but I bought it on sale at Musician’s Friend for $279.99 which is a good deal. So technically this is the most expensive guitar that I’ve ever owned!

The Mitchell guitar has got a great sound… just the right sound for playing hard rock & metal ’cause I’ve been messing around with some riffs on it. Been messing around with lead guitar on it and it also sounds great playing lead! What I love about the guitar is that it has two humbucker pickups and one single coil. I never had a guitar like that before. The guitar sounds really great using overdrive and distortion effects. The guitar sounds pretty heavy and hard rocking. Just the sound that I want! Perfect!

Along with the guitar, I also bought the Rogue Analog Delay pedal which was about $50. I messed around with it a little bit today and that sounds really cool too. I’m definitely gonna start a pedal collection ’cause I’m planning on creating different sounds with my music when I start writing original songs again.

One thing for sure though, I’m definitely noticing the difference of sound between a full hollowbody electric to a solid body electric.

The Mitchell HD400 feels great too. The neck is thinner than a hollow body which makes for easier playing and the fretboard feels nice too. Feels comfortable and much lighter. It’s a perfect guitar for me so it’s definitely a keeper!

I’ll post videos of me playing it soon.

Do I really need expensive gear to play hard rock & metal? No, not really…

I love buying guitars and musicians gear when I can! It’s so much fun! I’m gonna try to do that more often but do I really need expensive music gear that would break the bank? No, not really. I don’t really need to buy expensive gear that would cost over a couple of thousand dollars ’cause I don’t really play music professionally. I’m not in the industry or anything like that so I don’t need expensive gear at all so for now, I just buy musicians gear that are around $300 – $500 price range, that’s good enough.

I do want to play hard rock & metal and trying to get all the sounds for it. I didn’t get my new Mitchell HD400 guitar yet but hopefully it gets dropped off tomorrow. I just want to have a good metal sound. I do love my Ibanez Hollow Body Art Core guitar but the thing is too damn big and kind of heavy. It’s another reason why I wanted a new solid body guitar… I needed a guitar that is light weight and smaller. The Mitchell guitar seems like the right fit.

There’s a myth going around out there that the more expensive guitars sound better and louder than the inexpensive ones but not always. There are expensive guitars out there that I’m sure sounds kind of crappy but the $300 – $500 guitars sound even better. You don’t need to be fancy to play rock n’ roll & metal. I want to play metal and learn to shred which is what I’ve been doing.

I don’t need expensive gear at all but don’t get me wrong, though, one day I will get a vintage guitar someday. My dream guitar is that I’ve always wanted a vintage Gibson Les Paul made from the 60’s or 70’s and someday I’ll get one of those just to have as part of a collection. I’m thinking about starting a guitar collection. Probably will. Already have started a guitar collection. So far I have 4 guitars and have a 5th one coming my way if that delivery van ever gets here. Hopefully tomorrow!

Is Led Zeppelin about to reunite once more? Probably not but it would be cool, though!

Something strange is going on at Robert Plant’s official website, check it out:

http://www.robertplant.com/

Robert’s website has gone dark for whatever reason, on his website says, “Anytime now…” which means Robert is teasing something huge. What is it? Is Robert about to announce a new solo record with the Sensational Space Shifters? No, probably not ’cause if Robert was to announce a solo album, he wouldn’t tease something that big so it’s got to do with something about Led Zeppelin.

Rumor got out that Led Zeppelin may reunite once more for the Desert Trip 2017 concert this summer. If that’s the plan, I’m all for another Led Zeppelin reunion ’cause we definitely do deserve one more. The guys in Led Zeppelin has been trying to make it happen since their 02 December 10th reunion in 2007.

Ever since that show at the 02 arena in 2007, Robert Plant still sings Led Zep songs during his solo tours and he still sings Led Zep songs quite well. (See videos above)

If it’s not a Led Zeppelin reunion, then maybe a Robert Plant & Jimmy Page duo can make a comeback? Remember that? Page & Plant reunited to make the “Unledded: No Quarter” live album and they also made the studio album together, “Walking Into Clarksdale” which they went on tour with together. That happened during the 90’s. Since Jimmy Page isn’t doing anything musically at the moment, it would be cool if Page & Plant duo would comeback.

If a full Led Zep reunion is about to happen again then that would be cool too! There are so many great Led Zep songs that could be played live that they didn’t play at the 2007 concert songs like “Achilles Last Stand”, “In the Light”, “The Rain Song”, “Babe I’m Gonna Leave You”, “Heartbreaker”, “Communication Breakdown”, “Thank You, “That’s the Way”, “Tangerine”, “Friends”, “Nobody’s Fault But Mine”, etc. All those songs were never played at the 2007 reunion show and they deserve to get played! The 2007 reunion setlist was good but we wanted to hear more! That’s why we kept begging them to do a tour or do one more reunion show.
