Star Wars: The Force Unleashed…brief review…

So I finished playing, “Star Wars: The Force Unleashed” for the Ps3. I know, I’m waaaaay late on this game, I should have bought it a long time ago, but I wanted to play this before, “The Force Unleashed II” comes out to catch up.

First of all, I’m not much of a Star Wars fan. I like Star Wars, I’ve always been into Star Trek more. When I played this game, “The Force Unleashed”, I was surprised on how great it was. The storyline was great, the game play was a blast, and the graphics were good. I had fun playing it. I wouldn’t call this the best Star Wars game yet, ’cause I’m sure there will be plenty more Star Wars games up ahead of us. This one was really awesome though. This game made me appreciate Star Wars a little more.

The reason I’m not much of a Star Wars fan ’cause the plot and the writing all seemed too simple to me. Much of it was kind of silly and whacky. I’m like, how does Lucas come up with whacky shit? The writing with Star Trek is more insightful and intelligent. I always felt that Star Wars was more action and entertainment, then storytelling.

“The Force Unleashed” game felt totally different than the movies. It’s hard to explain. I’m looking forward to the “Force Unleashed II” game, which I think comes out sometime next year?

I’m now playing the game, “Mafia II”, that game is really good too so far, I’ll talk about that game when I get done playing it.

From 3 days a week to 4 days a week…

Since it’s been a little over a year since I got into fitness, I think I’m going to change my 3 day a week workout program to a 4 day week thing now. I’m changing my program around a little bit.

Monday would be chest day, Tuesday would be tricep day, Wednesday would be shoulders/traps day, and Saturday would be legs/biceps day.

What about abs? Well, I do abs at home. I do body weight stuff at home at night before I go to bed. I do various crunches on the floor. Floor crunches, bicycle crunches, etc. I’m also trying to find more workouts for obliques. I found a few of them, but I need more. One thing I need work on is obliques. The obliques are part of your abs and if you want to full six pack, gotta work on the obliques too.

I’m loving fitness and bodybuilding too much, I’m very happy that I got into this. I feel great, full of energy, and it makes you feel better. I thought about becoming a certified trainer someday. Maybe down the road that will happen. I would love to help other people. First, I need more fitness experience and knowledge, and I need a ripped enough body before becoming a certified trainer. It would be kind of silly becoming certified and not having a jacked body. I’d like to make a living helping others get in shape someday. That might be a good career I could take.

I still do help others though, by giving people small advice and tips when they ask for it. I’m still learning fitness and nutrition so I still have a lot to learn ahead of me. It is quite an adventure.

Edit to add: I forgot to add “Back” day on my program, but I’ll rework it again. I’ll figure something out.

Edit to add #2: I think I’ll do “Back” day on shoulder day. I don’t do too many back workouts just the lat pull down, seated row and the t-bar.

Report: Chris Jericho to take time off from WWE again???

Rumours are swirling the nets that WWE star Chris Jericho could be quitting WWE or take some time off again. Why? Since he has a pretty big tour with his metal band, Fozzy, that is what’s putting his WWE career in question.

There are rumours that Jericho wants to concentrate on Fozzy full time and hoping to start an acting career.

I find this a shame that Jericho is about to go from WWE soon ’cause I feel it’s too early for him. He’s too young to be quitting. Jericho is just getting at the top of his game in WWE and he’s about to throw it all away. Jericho’s been on his twitter page, hinting that he’s leaving WWE soon. Just last night after his “Night of Champions” ppv appearance, Jericho tweeted this.  So does this mean Jericho won’t appear on RAW tonight? We’ll have to wait and see. I think he’s teasing but he might appear on RAW tonight, never know.

Report: “Inferno” producers are still backing Lindsay 100%…

At least the “Inferno” film makers still support and respect, Lindsay Lohan, they are still not firing her because of her drug addiction. That’s the way to do it. Still support drug addicts. Like they said, they already worked with Robert Downey Jr., the “Iron Man” and “Sherlock Holmes” star. Downey Jr. had a long history of drug problems and he even went to prison for it. Downey Jr.’s film career was almost destroyed because of his problems, but he went to rehab, got clean, and now he’s a big movie star again.

The same can happen to Lindsay. It took a long time for Downey to clean up his act as it didn’t happen over night for him.

People might find it weird that the “Inferno” film makers still support Lindsay, but in all honesty, it’s a good thing to do is to support people with problems. Drug addicts need all the support they can get. Why should you not hate on drug addicts? Because it would drive them to depression, maybe even suicide, etc. You get the drill. Drug addicts need support so they can get inspired to get clean.

Keep in mind that Downey’s problems were similar to Lindsay’s back in his day but Downey’s were ten times worse. He tried to get clean in the past, went back to rehab, found himself doing drugs again and today he’s clean for good. The public shouldn’t hate Lindsay as they need to support her. Drug addicts needs to stay happy as possible during these hard times.

Thought: WWE doesn’t suck!!!

I see so many people slamming the WWE. Accusing them of being a bunch of phonies and saying how fake they are, and how they suck at everything they do. They are fake and scripted of course. They are entertainment. Like them or not, they are sports athletes. No matter what you think of them, they are athletes. The wrestling is fake, but as I always say, injuries do happen for real sometimes just like you can get injured on any job. I don’t care what anyone thinks about professional wrestling. Gotta give them the respect they deserve, ’cause they work very hard to keep their companies alive today. They are really good business and marketing people. They are better at marketing than almost every company out there. They sell out almost every arena shows, they get strong TV ratings and high PPV buy rates still. I give the WWE, a whole lot of respect. 100%. Like them or not, they do a good job entertaining people.

These guys travel every week non stop, no seasons off. They work hard, all year round, every day. Do they suck for that? I give all the performers respect because a lot of them don’t do wrestling for money. Why do they do wrestling? Because they simply love it. They are addicted to professional wrestling and huge wrestling fans just as much as we are. They may have went back to the PG rating, but you know what? The PG rating doesn’t bother me anymore. It’s actually a good move.

I get made fun of all the time for my love of professional wrestling. You know what? I’m cool with that. I enjoy what I want to enjoy. I’ve been watching professional wrestling for years, ever since I was a child. I still treat professional wrestling as a passion of mine. The WWE is a powerful company ’cause Vince is a great promoter and one of the best businessmen around. He’s a very intelligent guy. I still watch WWE ’cause I respect them. You should too, even if you’re not a fan of this brand. People call the superstars and performers fakes, but they didn’t get signed to the WWE overnight. These superstars had years of training and learning wrestling before they got to WWE. To me WWE is very special ’cause they need to entertain families and people around the world. They work very hard for what they do. So give them the respect they deserve. They still do a good job putting on shows even if it’s a PG rating.

Tonight’s “Night of Champions” PPV was good. Got some of my predictions right and some wrong. Kane won against Undertaker like I said. Randy Orton is now WWE Champion. I’m happy WWE gave the title win to someone else this time. It was getting kind of boring seeing John Cena win almost every ppv. It’s nice to finally have a little change for once! I loved the ppv. More on this tomorrow.

Quick “Night of the Champions” ppv predicitions

Well “Night of the Champions” ppv is tonight, and yes, I’m watching it. I thought I would write in my predictions quick before the ppv starts.

Six pack challenge for WWE Title: Sheamus vs. Wade Barrett vs. Chris Jericho vs. John Cena vs. Randy Orton vs. Edge

Winner: None of the above. Something will happen to one of those guys, Chris Jericho might get kicked out of the match being replaced by somebody else. This is the match that Triple H might join in and Triple H will come in and win the whole thing to become champ.

World Heavyweight Championship match: Kane vs. Undertaker

Winner: Kane. Everybody’s expecting ‘Taker to win, but I think Kane will get the win with outside interference of the Nexus, making Kane win somehow. Kane is expected to have a long title run, to keep his feud with Undertaker going.

U.S. Champion:- The Miz vs. Daniel Bryan

Winner: Daniel Bryan. The Miz will lose his US title so he wouldn’t have two belts when he cashes in for the Money in the Bank for another title match in the future. Plus, Daniel Bryan is already getting huge in the WWE, so I think Daniel will get the win.

IC Champion: Dolph Ziggler vs. Kofi Kingston

Winner: I’m predicting Kofi Kingston will get the win. Kofi has been a favorite of mine for quite some time now.

The Big Show vs. CM Punk (non title match):

Winner: CM Punk. He already lost at the last Summerslam. I think Punk will win this one this time with the help of the Straight Edge Society members. I’m also predicting Big Show will get a heel turn to join the Straight Edge Society.

WWE Diva Championship lumberjill match: Melina vs. Michelle McCool

Winner: I’m thinking Michelle McCool will win this one.

WWE Tag Team championship: The Hart Dynasty vs. mystery opponents unannounced –

Winner: Who ever the mystery opponents will be. I think it’s going to be John Morrison and R-Truth, but I don’t know. I’m thinking WWE is saving this one for a surprise tag team that is about ready to make a huge return. It won’t be the Hardy Boys, ’cause Jeff is in TNA and Matt is out of country in England. I don’t think it’s going to be DX, I don’t think it’ll be Cryme Tyme. We’ll have to wait and see who it is.

Hope the ppv will be good.

Thought: I still support Lindsay Lohan…

So she failed more drug tests and admitted to it, when she was about to make a huge comeback to her entertainment career. Addiction is a tough and difficult road. Just because people are addicted to drugs or alcohol doesn’t make them a bad person. They are just troubled people that need help, that’s all. I know a few people like that in my life. You can’t be hating on these people and just respect them. Just wish them nothing but the best is a good thing to do. Drugs and alcohol is wrong, yes. I don’t do either.

When people have an addiction with drugs and alcohol, gotta give them the support that they need. I’m sure most of you readers have people in your lives that is experiencing addiction with drugs & alcohol. It’s a tough road to end, like I said. I think jail will be best for her too.

I just hope she will improve her life so she won’t end up another dead celebrity who died of drugs. People make mistakes, no one is perfect.

Thought: Why Led Zeppelin refuses to release their music for Guitar Hero or Rock Band…

Everybody wants the mighty Led Zeppelin to release their own Guitar Hero or Rock Band video game, but it will never happen. They never released their music to any of these games in the past. Why is this? Is it ego? Money? No, it’s neither. Led Zeppelin not releasing their old music to video games is nothing personal against the fans. The reason Jimmy Page wouldn’t allow it is because he wants kids to pick up a real guitar and learn Led Zep songs on a real guitar. Not on a video game.

That is why, Jimmy Page, The Edge and Jack White made that movie, “It Might Get Loud”. The movie was made in hopes of inspiring more people to pick up the electric guitar.

I have no respect for Guitar Hero or Rock Band anymore. I used to think they were cool, but they are no longer interesting. I have a couple of Guitar Hero video games in my collection but I don’t play ’em anymore. I feel more comfortable playing the real guitar myself.

I’ve been playing a lot more electric guitar, and I’m just loving it too much. Trying to get better at guitar solos, that’s my main focus. Maybe someday I’ll video tape myself playing the electric guitar to just noodle around and show off a bit. Playing the electric is amazing. I feel like home playing it. I suddenly lost interest in acoustic guitar and want to get used to electric now.

I’m glad Led Zeppelin will never release their music to video games. It’s a good decision.

40 years without Jimi Hendrix

As of today, it officially marks the 40th year of no Jimi Hendrix. Jimi is one of the guitar gods who inspired me to pick up the guitar. Some of my other guitar heroes are Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton, Joe Satriani, Dimebag and Neil Young, but Hendrix is very special to me.

I’ve been listening to Hendrix for years and I’ll never get tired of him, ever. I can listen to Hendrix music all day long. Here are five of my favorite Hendrix tunes.
