Cool Video: “Expendables 2” trailer is finally here, and looks badass!!!

“The Expendables 2” teaser is finally here. There’s nothing much on it for now, it’s just a teaser. It just shows all the cast members. The trailer shows Chuck Norris, and Van Damme. Best of all, it also shows Arnold holding a gun!!!! How cool is it to finally see Arnold with a gun for the big screen? After a 7 year long fucking wait of Arnold’s governor shit, he’s finally back to where he belongs. Action films on the big screen!!!

I did like the first “Expendables” movie, but only for the action & fight scenes. The action scenes for the first film was fine, it was just the writing that had lots of problems. Hopefully the plot will be an improvement for the sequel. I’ll be seeing the new film in theater for sure.

Check out the trailer, here.

Is Superman’s face mysteriously hidden on the “Dark Knight: Rises” Bane poster???

This website, comicbook.com, was the first to discover this before anyone else noticed it. The first “Dark Knight: Rises” poster where we see Gotham City crumbling and falling apart, you see the Superman S shield on one of the buildings.

In the new “Dark Knight: Rises” poster with Bane, you see a mysterious hidden face that could reference Henry Cavill as Superman. You can see the mysterious Superman face slightly beside Bane’s head in the poster.

I’m sure many of you would call it a fake and photoshopped but if you look at the “Dark Knight: Rises” official site, the mysterious face is still there. The mysterious face was definitely put there intentionally. Is it Superman’s face? Probably, because the way it is shown it is shaped like an S shield. If you look at the vertical version of the poster here, you see the mysterious face in a different position, it’s between the letters “E” and “G, in the word, “Legend”.

What’s with all the Superman mysteries in the Batman posters? Could this mean that Superman is in, “The Dark Knight: Rises”, in some way? If so, that would be pretty fuckin’ cool, if Superman was in “TDK: Rises”.

It doesn’t surprise me that Superman could possibly be appearing in the next Batman film, since both the new Batman and Superman movies are being made at the same time. Batman and Superman have teamed up for years in comics and animated movies. It’s time to team them up in a live action movie, which was long over due.

Cool Video: “GI Joe: Retaliation” trailer drops!!!

Last night, Machinima dropped the trailer for “GI Joe: Retaliation”, the sequel to the GI Joe, franchise. I fuckin’ loved the first movie. Saw it twice in theater when it came out and I’m so looking forward to the second one. Second one, looks even better as expected. Bruce and The Rock in the same movie? Hell yeah!!! Count me in! Plus, the sequel to the GI Joe is looking more faithful. Looks action packed and fun. I’m so there!

Cool Photo: “Dark Knight: Rises” confirms it’s the last film, does Bane actually breaks the bat?

The first teaser poster we see Gotham City looks like it is crumbling and falling apart. In this poster, we see Bane with his back facing you and part of Batman’s mask laying on the ground.

Do the badguys win? That’s what it seems like. That’s what the posters are trying to tell you. Does Bane kill Batman?

I don’t think so, maybe Batman’s identity will get exposed, but that’s about it. If that is how they are going to end the trilogy by killing Batman, that would be a really good closure, but I don’t think they’ll really end it that way. There’s got to be a good reason why they call it, “The Dark Knight: Rises”, we’ll find out when we see the film next year.

I’m certainly looking forward to seeing it. Batman is my favorite superhero, always have been. I hope this movie will be even more action packed than the last one, I’m sure it will be.

I love how Christopher Nolan keeps quiet about everything with his movies and keeps them mysterious. He doesn’t like to give out secrets and wants people to wait to see the film itself.

Cool Video: “Men In Black 3” trailer is finally here, and the film looks pretty good!

“Men In Black 3” trailer is here, and I really liked it. The film looks very entertaining. I liked the first MIB film a lot, I didn’t care for the second one, so hopefully this film will be just as good as the first.

Look like this film is going to be about Agent J, going to look out for his longtime partner, Agent K (Tommy Lee Jones), but the trailer said Agent K is dead in this one. So looks like Josh Brolin’s character is going to take his place? Tommy Lee Jones IS credited in this movie so Agent K must be in this movie somehow. My guess is that Agent K is actually alive and he shows up at the end of the movie?

Mel Gibson needs to win Oscar for “The Beaver” in 2012…

Well, I finally got to see, Mel Gibson’s latest movie, “The Beaver”, from Netflix DVD rental last night. Well you know what? I fuckin’ LOVED the movie. It’s definitely one of the best films of 2011 and pretty high up on the list in the top 15. It was a perfect film all around, the writing was phenomenal, perfect script. The movie was entertaining.

Of course, I was blown away by Mel Gibson’s performance in this movie. His performance is what impressed me the most. Mel plays Walter Black, who is CEO of a company he works for called, Jerry Co. He is suffering depression and mental illness. He is kicked out of his family’s home and turns suicidal. He found a hand puppet of a Beaver which he uses to talk to, as a way to help get him out of his depression and make him become a better person.

Walter talks to this Beaver puppet everywhere he goes  ’cause it keeps him going in life and helps him become the man he was once was before his depression. If he doesn’t have the Beaver puppet, he’ll become a different man. While him having a Beaver puppet is weird and insane as it sounds, it helped get him his family back, and it helped made him fall back in love with his wife again. Walter’s son (Porter, played by Anton Yelchin) is suffering the same depression his father’s going through and they don’t get along as family.

Mel’s role in this movie can have different emotions. It can get pretty dark, but it can also be very enjoyable and comedic at times. I believe Mel signed on to this movie ’cause it reminded  him of how he is in real life. We all know that Mel has personal problems in real life, Mel maybe suffering depression for real and it’s possible he did this movie to help him become a better person himself. To help straighten himself out.

Do I forgive and forget Mel from all the trouble Mel’s been through? After seeing this movie, I think I will forgive Mel. We all make mistakes in life. It’s all about learning from them and moving forward. Despite his personal problems from the anti-semitic rants to his battles with his ex-wife Oksana, I really think he deserves an Oscar for this movie.

If the Academy gives him the snub from getting a nomination, I’ll be disappointed with them and will not bother watching the Oscars, if he’s not in. There’s a lot of speculation that the Academy wouldn’t allow him to get a nomination because of his troubled past. Think about it, Mel getting an Oscar would help make him a better person.

The Oscar nominations should be revealed very soon, and I think there’s a pretty good chance he’ll get a nomination for this movie. I would seriously suggest you all to check this film out.

Film Review: The Muppets…

Starring: The Muppets, Jason Segel, Amy Adams, and a whole list of celebrity cameos.

Directed by: James Bobin

Today, I went to the mall to do some Christmas shopping for family, and I ended up seeing the Muppets. I wasn’t gonna see the Muppets, I was gonna wait for DVD, but I decided to see it anyway, just to kill some time and nothing else was playing. Anyway, I bought 4 music albums on CD for myself. I picked up: “Amy Winehouse – Lioness: Hidden Treasures”, “The Black Keys – El Camino”, “Bjork – Biophilia”, and “Kate Bush – 50 Words For Snow”. I’ll talk about those albums after I listen to them. On with my review…

Plot/synopsis: Walter, a new muppet character introduced lives with his best friend Gary (Jason Segel). Walter is a huge fan of the Muppets and dreams of joining them, but the Muppets are no longer together anymore and they’ve all separated. Each Muppet character has a different job and doing other things in their lives. Gary and his girlfriend Mary (Amy Adams) take Walter to the Muppets Studios, but they discover it is closed and no longer in use. Tex Richman (Chris Cooper) an evil businessman who plans to destroy the Muppets Theater so he can drill for oil, but the Muppets must raise $10 million dollars to save the studio at a certain time. The Muppets need to reunite so they can revive the show they had in the past, so they can save their legendary studio.

This film was given mostly positive reviews by critics and movie fans, but I was very disappointed in the film. I felt that they ruined the Kermit character in this movie. They made Kermit look bad throughout the film and he’s not supposed to be this way. He’s supposed to be enjoyable and heartfelt. They gave Kermit a darker character in this movie.

As for why I didn’t like this movie, I’ll explain the good and the bad things about “The Muppets”….

The Good – The history of the Muppets (throughout the film it showed vintage clips from their classic TV show from the past, which one thing I liked about the film), Amy Adams (She was actually enjoyable and fun in this movie like always), The Muppets paying tribute to Nirvana (they did their rendition of “Teen Spirit” in the film, which actually put a smile on my face), the Jack Black appearance (He’s funny like he always is).

The Bad – Jason Segel and Walter (this film would have been better if Jason and Walter weren’t in this film, they pretty much ruined the movie. I can’t stand Jason Segel as an actor.) The script is loaded with plot holes (there are things in the plot where it didn’t make any sense at all, how is the writer coming up with this stuff?), the music (the songs that were performed by the characters weren’t that enjoyable, the only song that actually put a smile on my face was when the Muppets sang their main theme song toward the end of the movie, but the rest of the music was awful), Muppets being full bodied (Seeing Muppets with legs is kind of gross, in my opinion, it makes them look naked.)

There were a few enjoyable scenes and there were a few laughs, but most of the film was pretty bad. I don’t know, I didn’t get it. I thought separating the Muppets like that was a pretty stupid idea.

Do I feel bad seeing the Muppets? A film I didn’t like? No. I saw the Toy Story short cartoon before the movie and was worth it. The Toy Story short before the film was the best thing about “The Muppets”. I say “The Muppets” was the worst film of 2011.

Score for “The Muppets” = * (1 star as in “poor”)

Cool Video: I’m now totally psyched to see the “Dragon Tattoo” film after this seeing this 8 minute trailer…

After seeing the 8 minute trailer to “Dragon Tattoo”, makes me psyched to see the film. I’m sold. I really can’t wait to see it now and hope to see it opening day. Love the book so much and I’m sure the movie will be amazing as well. I’m already predicting this could be the best film of 2011.

Why I think Fox is on a rush for that “24” big screen movie…

Why is Fox on a rush for that “24” movie? I think it’s because of twitter, possibly. The day that Bin Laden was found and killed, Jack Bauer have been a trending topic on twitter for a long while. People were also talking about Jack Bauer in facebook because of the Bin Laden killing. That’s what made FOX get right to work on the “24” movie. They might go for the Jack Bauer hunting down Bin Laden plot because of that, and I hope they don’t go for it, honestly.

It’s going to be interesting to see what the plot for the “24” film is going to be. I just hope they don’t mess this movie up. I would like it to be a major hit and be successful. I want it to be a really good movie as well.

Report: Benicio Del Toro, won’t do Trek…guess he wanted to be payed more and they couldn’t afford it…

JJ Abrams squashed the news that Benicio Del Toro could be starring as the main villain for “Star Trek” sequel. Benicio dropped over money issues.

Look like Del Toro wanted an extremely high paycheck and the film crew couldn’t afford him. They also denied that he was going to be playing Khan.

More on the story, here.
