The 2 officers getting killed was because of the three race baiters Obama, Sharpton and Jackson…

Police officers in America are supposed to protect us and because of the three race baiters Obama, Sharpton & Jackson the police officers in America lives are in danger because of them. Those three douchebags started this whole race war over Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown and now Eric Garner.

How much longer is this gonna go on in America? This is not what Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. would have wanted and I’m sure he’s rolling in his grave right now.

http://www.foxnews.com/us/2014/12/20/2-nypd-cops-shot-in-car-critically-injured/

God bless the two officers and RIP to them.

I’m sick of those 3 race baiters Obama, Sharpton & Jackson. They were the ones who continues to make this country so divisive when it shouldn’t be. That wasn’t Dr. King Jr’s. goal.

This is what Obama wanted… police officers to feel that their lives are in danger and he got it… good job, Obama. Fucking prick. I hope he’s proud of himself. Enjoy your Christmas vacation in Hawaii.

Why didn’t Dickey Betts play with the Allman Brothers for their final show???

In the photo above is the Allman Brothers Band saying their goodbye to their fans after finishing last night’s show which is supposedly to be their final show ever. Yep, I guess the band is really done.

The only member missing in the photo above is obviously Dickey Betts. Dickey Betts is important to the Allman Brothers ’cause he was one of the band’s founding members and Dickey wrote most of their earlier material especially their well known hit, “Ramblin’ Man” which the Brothers didn’t play at the Beacon at all. I think Gregg said once in the past that they wouldn’t play any songs written by Dickey at their shows.

Remember, Dickey got thrown out of the band a long while back because of his alcoholism and short temper plus him and Gregg don’t get along too well. You would think Gregg and Dickey would try and bury the hatchet before the final shows? Maybe Gregg did try to ask Dickey to be a part of the final shows but Dickey said “No”???

Anyway, here is the Brothers setlist from last night’s final and last Beacon show….

(END OF SECONd SET)

3rd set!!!!

Encore
whipping Post

————————————————————————

As you can see it was a pretty long set. I read the show went on ’til like 1: 30 in the morning last night and their audience stayed for the whole show. I guess the band wanted these shows to be a celebration so they wanted to play as much music as they can possibly can.

Anyway, it kind of sucks that the Brothers are ending. I’m sure they would’ve went on longer if Derek and Warren didn’t decide to leave the band. Kind of wish I was there to see the show myself but I’m sure they’ll get released soon.

Thanks to the Brothers for 45 years of music. Wish there could have been more.

I’m pretty sure the band will release the final Beacon shows on CD and DVD/Bluray in 2015.

Was 9/11/01 perpetrated by our own government??? I wouldn’t be surprised…

So, “#Investigate911” is a trending topic on twitter. Yes, they were referring to the 9/11/01 WTC attacks, of course. I was trying to figure out why this became a trending topic all of a sudden and I think I just figured it out… some guy interrupted a Superbowl press conference and says that, “9/11 should be investigated and was perpetrated by our own government”.

Well, for many years, people have blamed the 9/11/01 attacks on President Bush and our US Government. The US government during the Bush Administration blamed it on Osama Bin Laden but I don’t think Bin Laden was involved. There was no proof that Bin Laden was involved and they didn’t even put him on trial. Ever noticed there was no full on congressional investigation on 9/11/01 just like there was no investigation on the Benghazi attacks 9/11/2012???

The Obama administration claimed they went out and killed Bin Laden with no proof of that either so this gets me thinking that Obama could be helping to protect George W. Bush over 9/11/01 ’cause everybody knows that Obama and Bush have a strong relationship together.

Was 9/11/01 an inside job by our US government?

I agree 9/11/01 should be investigated and the same goes for Benghazi – 9/11/2012. They both need a full scale investigation.

It’s nice to finally see the American people waking up on 9/11/01 that the terrorists attacks wasn’t exactly committed by Bin Laden but it was actually done by George W. Bush himself.

Thought: Why “Rocky – The Musical” deserves to happen…

After Rocky – The Musical made it’s successful debut in Hamburg, Germany in 2012, Broadway has gotten the green-light to put the musical in production at the Winter Garden Theater in NYC for the year 2014 — which is obviously, next year! Of course, they had to get Stallone’s blessing, in which he seems to be all for it! While Sly has had a long movie career, it seems that he is most proud of his work with the Rocky movies more than everything else he has done in the past. The character Rocky means so much to Sly for so many reasons. One of the reasons is that the character reminds him so much of his real life. Before Sly’s fame & fortune, he too started off as a nobody just like Rocky in the first movie. Sly was homeless; living in the streets of New York City for a few weeks until he sold the script to “Paradise Alley” for a $100, and then he got his acting start doing adult-porn. Yes, it’s true. Just like Rocky, Sly himself went from zero to hero.

Rocky is not just a boxing movie and Sly always made that pretty clear. It’s about life and moving forward to bigger things. The character also means so much to all of us, which is how the movies got so big and successful. I’ve always loved the first movie. It’s one of my favorite films ever made, and I will never get tired of it — ever. To be quite honest with you, I always looked at the first Rocky movie as something theatrical. Like a play — almost. That’s what the first film felt like.

Bringing that story to the stage is just their way of keeping that legendary story alive. Keep it well known. It’ll help bring more people to the first film. Rocky deserves to be a part of everyone lives ’cause that character is so special. While Sylvester Stallone did so many great action movies, it was Rocky that mattered the most. That’s how I became obsessed with Sly’s movies to begin with. It all started with Rocky. The first Rocky film was Sly’s best acting out of all the films he has done. I wonder if the actor who plays Rocky for the musical will be able to make the acting style similar to Sly’s in the first movie. I’ll have to wait and see for myself.

This is a play I would like to go to NYC for to see. I think this deserves to happen.

Cool Photos: Never before seen photos of Marilyn in New York, taken by 15 year old fan…

This is pretty interesting, I just had to post it. Rare photos of Marilyn Monroe visiting New York City, shortly before she sang “Happy Birthday” to JFK at MSG surfaced the web today. They were taken by Peter Mangone when he was 15 years old. He was also the one who filmed the footage of Marilyn performing at MSG.

Marilyn, all smiles and looking beautiful like she always was. I can see why she dated so many men and had affairs with many of them ’cause you can easily fall in love with someone like her. As soon as you lay your eyes on Marilyn, she immediately makes you smile. That’s how powerful this woman is. She’s very likeable.

See the photos, here.

Speaking of Marilyn, I just watched a 45 minute documentary of her called, “Marilyn In Manhatten”, on Netflix, the other night. It’s very good, even though it’s a short documentary, check it out. Very informative about her stay in NYC.

The Brock reviews last night’s Sandy Relief concert at MSG…

Last night’s Sandy Relief concert at MSG in NYC was mostly great last night.  There were just a few negatives about it. I watched it on TV. The whole thing. While Bruce Springsteen played a great set like usual, I didn’t get why him and Jon Bon Jovi were all over each other last night. Sure, I understand they both were from New Jersey and that was probably the point of them collaborating on stage with each other a lot last night, but I thought it was a little gay. On top of that, Bon Jovi is overrated as hell. I can’t stand Bon Jovi. Jon Bon was pretty creepy looking as a matter of fact.

Next here comes Roger Waters. Now, don’t get me wrong, I fucking love Roger Waters but his performance was a little off. Who was that long haired dude, singing the vocals and playing the guitar? That guy was terrible, get him off the stage. Then Eddie Vedder came out and butchered, “Comfortably Numb”, singing the Gilmour parts. I love Eddie Vedder, but singing Pink Floyd songs wasn’t for him. Eddie’s deep singing voice just didn’t fit. I kind of wish David Gilmour was there instead like most people. I do love Pink Floyd but Waters need to make better choices for his back up singers. That “Comfortably Numb” performance last night was pretty bad.

I liked Adam Sandler’s rendition of “Hallelujah”, which was pretty funny. I’m glad Sandler did something different other than his “Hanukah Song”. Other than Sandler’s talent for acting in film, he has a gift for music too as he is a talented singer. Sandler did a good job.

While the Rolling Stones were great last night, they should have played a longer set. In fact, they should have been one of the main headliners. They only played two songs I think? Not sure, why they didn’t get a lot of stage time.

I thought Alicia Keys did an amazing job. Even though I hate R&B music, I can deal with listening to Alicia ’cause she is very talented. I never bought her albums or anything, but her music is good to listen to.

Eric Clapton KILLED IT, last night, like he usually does. It was great to see Eric again. That guy kind of slowed down in music, these days. He hasn’t been touring or releasing albums much, so this must be one of his rare TV appearances. Clapton is still looking really good though. I’ve been a Clapton fan for years, and still am. I loved the Billy Joel set, he killed it too. Even though Billy seems to be retired from making new albums, he still can perform really good. I wish he would come back and make a new album. Billy Joel, is the fucking man. Loved the guy’s music for years too. The Chris Martin set was great too. It was good to see Michael Stipe perform with him. I thought that was cool.

Another negative of last night’s show was having Kanye West be one of the show’s main headliners. What the fuck was that all about? And what was that leather skirt he was wearing? That Kanye West performance sucked and he performed longer than anybody last night. I mean, fuck, dude. The Stones played a short set, while Kanye got the most stage time. I understand that the point of the Sandy Relief was to have a variety of music, something for everyone, sure, but they should have had a better rapper than Kanye. I can deal with Jay-Z or maybe, Dr. Dre more, they would be okay with me. Come on, Kanye? Ridiculous!

I believe my favorite performance last night, was the Who performance. Roger and Pete killed it last night. Their performance was pretty strong and powerful. A lot of emotion between those two guys, you can see it. I loved the Keith Moon tribute they did. That was beautiful and it almost brought tears to my eyes. Roger Daltrey is being wrongly criticized ’cause he was performing on stage with his shirt hanging open. Sorry to say people, but Roger has been performing that way for years, so this is nothing new. Yeah, I’m sure he knew it was a family friendly event, but he couldn’t help it. Why does he perform on stage with an unbuttoned shirt? Because, that’s rock n’ roll, to be fair to him. Performing on stage shirtless or wearing a dress shirt unbuttoned is a pretty normal thing for rock stars. They do these things all the time. When you perform on stage, sometimes you have to ’cause it does get hot and sweaty up there. Roger was sweating like a pig, so give the dude a break. You have to give him props for singing good like that at 68 years old. The dude still has it. Pete is still a great guitar player. I love the Who. They are rock n’ roll genius’s, never forget that.

I did stay up for the Paul McCartney performance, and he rocked it like usual. As for his collaboration with the Nirvana members, that was great. I figure they weren’t going to do any Nirvana songs, ’cause I’m sure they didn’t want to embarrass themselves, that’s why they did a new original song. It was a hard rocking and pretty heavy song  though, as I figured it would be. Paul was able to sing that hard rock song well. I didn’t think Paul would be able to sing that type of hard rock music, but he did it well. I remembered Paul saying he wanted to try writing a hard rock album someday and maybe he will work on an album with those guys? Could be a possibility. Paul McCartney can sing just about any genre. The man is talented, always has been.

It was a pretty good show last night, other than the few minus’s with Kanye West and the “Comfortably Numb” performance. It was a good time watching the show.

I’m surprised they didn’t book Neil Young & Crazy Horse for last night’s event. Would have been cool to see them be part of the lineup, oh well.

Paul McCartney to front Nirvana at MSG tonight, yes, you heard that right!

Just announced today, as a surprise for 12-12-12, Paul McCartney will be fronting the re-formed Nirvana, with Dave Grohl on drums, Krist Noveselic on bass, and Pat Smear on guitar. They will back Paul McCartney on vocals tonight for the Sandy Benefit at MSG in NYC. This performance is not what you think it is though. I don’t think they will be performing any of Nirvana’s hits. You won’t hear Paul sing, “Smells Like Teen Spirit” or “Come As You Are”, they will be doing a brand new, Nirvana song.

This maybe an odd collaboration but keep in mind, people, that Kurt was a huge Beatles fan. You can hear a lot of Beatles influence in Nirvana songs. I’m 100% sure, Kurt would have wanted this to happen, a Beatle to front Nirvana. If Kurt was still alive to see this, I’m sure he would have loved it. It would have been a dream come true for Kurt, and this is why they’re doing this. Honoring a late rock star.

I can’t wait for this performance to land on youtube. It’ll be interesting!

More on the story, here.

If they do end up playing a few Nirvana hits, anyway, that wouldn’t surprise me.

Cool Photos: Noomi Rapace catches everyones attention in NYC wearing a red dress…

You ever had one of those days, where a beautiful woman walks by and everyone can’t keep their eyes off her? Well, NYC in Manhatten just experienced that. Noomi Rapace, made an appearance in NYC, to appear on the David Letterman show to promote, “Prometheus”. She wore a red dress that caught the eye of onlookers and she even stopped traffic.

See the pics, here.

The comments in that article are trash talking her, but I think she’s a gorgeous woman no matter what she wears.

Report: CBGB’s maybe making a comeback but to a new venue and new location…

The legendary, CBGB’s club responsible for starting the NYC punk movement, maybe closed, but the club could be making a return. However, a club spokesman said the club will be looking for a new venue and new area in NYC.

More on the story, here.

While I think it’s a good idea to move on to a new place, the new CBGB’s is never going to top the original venue that had so much history. The new place is never going to be better than the old place. They can move on and forget about the past, all they want to, but this isn’t the late 1970’s anymore. I don’t think any band can turn the new place on top like the Ramones did. The Ramones, were one of the first bands to play there when the club first opened.

I’ve never been to the original CBGB’s before. Never played a gig there and never saw a show there. My point is, the new CBGB, won’t be as good as the original. I never been to the original venue, but I understand the place had so much rock n’ roll history even that venue could be a shithole like all the others.

Report: Lindsay Lohan to host SNL March 3rd, Jack White is musical guest…

If she gets cleaned up with the drugs and sober up on the alcohol, then maybe she gets her career back on track for once. I’ll probably watch, and I’m sure a lot of you will too. Even though she’s the most hated celebrity, you won’t resist this. Yes, she’s done SNL before, but I’m sure you’re all wondering what she’s going to do for the upcoming episode. This episode will indeed get big ratings.

I don’t watch SNL much anymore as I used to. I used to watch it all the time when Adam Sandler and Chris Farley used to be around. I don’t really care for any of the new guys. I don’t even like Andy Samberg, Seth Myers or Bill Hader.

I only watch SNL if there is a good host or a musical guest is on.

Deadline, reports.
