Chevy Chase’s response to people who thinks he’s a jerk is just golden… thank you Chevy!

Over the years, it was said by colleagues that Chevy Chase was a difficult guy to work with on TV shows and movies. He was called a jerk and a terrible person by other actors and film crew people that he worked with over the years.

Well Chevy, the man himself finally responds to his haters in a CBS Sunday Morning interview he did. It’s a good segment showcasing his career over the years too.

Chevy’s response to people that don’t like him? His simple answer was, “I don’t give a crap, I am who I am.”

Yeah, such a great response. The last thing you want to do is care what people think of you, ya know? If people don’t like you and if people think you’re a jerk, who cares. Just let negativity slide right by and keep being yourself. Keep on keepin’ on.

Yeah, I have haters too… I’ve had people over the years call me a “jerk” as well… I’m aware of that and that’s fine. I’ve been called a big bad internet troll and been called much nastier names. Over the years, people always saw me as the big bad Brock who was always mean and talked offensive stuff. I still get that even now believe it or not. It’s just funny, ya know? I used to defend myself of all the negativity I get but I’ve gotten way better at not giving a fuck what people think of me and that’s the right attitude to have. People don’t like you? Who cares. Give them the middle finger.

In reality, I think Chevy Chase is a good guy and he is probably a “friendly” guy, he’s just gonna get jealous haters the more success he gets and stuff, ya know? He may get a lot of people saying that he’s a “jerk” but that doesn’t mean it’s true either.

What’s wrong with “being yourself”? You can’t be yourself anymore. In this day and age, it’s almost a crime. You gotta be who other people want you to be and when you refuse to do that and not bow down to others, you’re all of a sudden the biggest jerk on the planet. I feel Chevy on this one.

I’m sure a lot of people are still shitting on Chevy after this CBS interview too.

Chevy’s a legend and a comic genius, of course people are gonna hate him for that reason.

“Ghostbusters: Afterlife” and the new “Dune”, picked up the BluRay to those films earlier today, looking forward to watching them…

So earlier today, I went to Target and picked up “Ghostbusters: Afterlife” and the new “Dune” movie on BluRay. Ya know the “Dune” remake directed by Denis Villeneuve. Can’t wait to watch these two films but not this weekend, though ’cause I have the WWE “Elimination Chamber” ppv to watch this Sat. Looking forward to watching these two films, though.

I’ve been wanting to see the new “Dune” ’cause I read the book and a huge fan of the book. I wanna see how accurate the new “Dune” is to the book, we’ll see.

I’ll definitely give these two films a review after I see them. I’m sure they are both good!

Korn’s new album “Requiem” fails to hit the top 10 in the Billboard 200… not their fault, though….

Over the years, Korn’s been making albums that would go way high up in the Billboard charts. Korn’s got a couple of No. 1 albums which were “Follow the Leader” and “Issues” which are both great records. Korn’s also got other albums that hit the top 5.

Their debut record which was a flop hit 72 and that’s the album that has that hit song “Shoots and Ladders”. Their first album didn’t become a huge hit ’til years later, though. Remember, they were controversial at first when they were first coming out.

Korn’s newest album “Requiem” fails to hit the top 10 this time around in the Billboard 200 but still no. 14 is decent.

https://loudwire.com/korn-requiem-album-chart-debut-sales-billboard/

I wouldn’t blame the band that they didn’t make it high in the charts this time. It’s still a great album and the best in the band’s career, in my opinion. You can blame the “anti-rock” music industry. Music industry is still dominated by pop, rap and country.

I take a look at the Billboard Charts lately and I haven’t heard most of the artists on it like WTF?

The new Korn is still pretty great though. It’s really too bad they couldn’t make it high on the Billboard this time. These days it’s tough for any rock and metal band to make it to the top 10 in the Billboard 200 when we have an “anti-rock” industry!

Korn is like the greatest heavy band going today, their new album “Requiem” is the best they’ve ever done!

I remember when Korn first started coming out in the mid 90’s, they were like the most controversial band at first. They were the most talked about band in the mid 90’s, I’ll never forget it. The band had good things and bad things said about them. Why were they controversial back in the day? Well, probably because of their down-tuned 7 string guitars and their look… the long braided hair, tattoos, pierces, eye-liner and all that stuff. People never saw or heard anything like them. They are still a bit controversial even today but it took a while for people to be able to accept them.

Love Korn or hate them all you want to, they are hit makers. They have plenty of songs that are considered mainstream hits. Obviously, they are still active as a band. They’ve had slight lineup changes ’cause I believe their guitar players Head and Munky been in and out of the band over the years, correct me if I’m wrong… but Head and Munky, they’ve been back in for a long while and they are still killer guitar players.

I think Korn’s past couple of albums have been really good shit but I think their newest album that they just put out “Requiem” is pretty slamming and it’s the best album in their career in my opinion. It’s a shorter album, it’s only about a half hour long but it still rocks. On “Requiem”, they still sound like Korn like they always do but it does sound slightly different than previous albums. They are maturing as songwriters for sure, I can tell. They get better every album.

I listened to their new album a couple of times and I’ve noticed that Jonathan Davis is really focused on his singing this time around. I am noticing lesser screaming and growling. There’s a lot more actual singing from Jonathan which he sounds amazing. There’s still a little screaming and growling on this record but not as much as their previous records… Jonathan doesn’t over do the growling this time. I guess Jonathan wants to prove that he can sing and not be just a growler which he did beautiful.

It’s also a tight as hell album, too. The guitar playing of Head and Munky, they still got the rhythm chops and they sound great. Brian “Head” Welch had always had my respect and he’s beginning to become one of my favorite metal guitarists.

I’d definitely recommend it for you metal fans. I love Korn, been listening to them ever since the 90’s. Have like 8 albums by them. Trying to get all their stuff too.

The passing of Ivan Reitman is a real bummer, sad loss in Hollywood…

It was announced last night that “Ghostbusters” director, Ivan Reitman has passed on. It’s kind of a real bummer ’cause I’m a huge Ghostbusters fan. I definitely loved the first and original “Ghostbusters” movie. It’s a classic for sure and an important film in Hollywood.

It was Dan Aykroyd that created the Ghostbusters story. He wrote the script with Harold Ramis and they got Ivan Reitman to produce/direct it. Well Ivan was the best choice really ’cause he made the first and original “Ghostbusters” an excellent film. He was able to make it really funny and scary at the same time, a true comedy/horror kind of movie. I did like the second “Ghosbusters” movie believe it or not even though it had some problems but nothing will ever top the first movie.

Anyway, Ivan was definitely a great director ’cause he made other iconic movies like “Twins” and “Kindergarten Cop”. He was also behind “Stripes”, “Animal House”, “Six Days Seven Nights”, “Space Jam” and “Beethoven”.

Ivan mostly directed family comedies but he was so good at that genre, though.

The beginning of 2022 took another good one.

RIP Ivan Reitman and thanks for the entertainment over the years that meant to so much people. Thankfully Ivan was able to finish “Ghostbusters: Afterlife” with his son. I haven’t seen that one yet but gonna buy the bluray to that movie real soon.

Thoughts on the Superbowl Halftime show of those rap artists and quick review of the game itself…

Okay some of you want to know my thoughts on the Superbowl last night. Yes, I did watch it… the whole thing.

First I wanna give my thoughts on the Superbowl Halftime performance of all those rappers. Everybody’s going off of how “great” it really was but I’m gonna be a bit honest and say that it was “so” and “so”. I thought Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg and Mary J. Blige were the best… in my opinion, I think the Superbowl Halftime show should have just been them three… 50 Cent, Kendrick Lamar and Eminem were not needed… I didn’t really care for those three guys but Dre, Snoop and Mary J…. YES! I know I know, some of you may be shocked that I liked Snoop since he is pretty left wing and a Trump hater himself but that’s okay. It was about the music for me, ya know and I thought Snoop was amazing and impressive last night. I’m not afraid to admit that Snoop is an amazing live performer and always has been. Dre too. I don’t know much about Mary J. but I think I’m gonna get into her music more and would like to start getting her albums. I actually loved her last night really.

Eminem? He’s a douche, I don’t like him anymore and it isn’t just politics that made me lost interest in him. I used to be a fan of of Eminem when I was younger, it’s just that his music is no longer interesting, ya know? I used to buy Eminem albums but I stopped.

As for the game itself, The Rams vs. The Bengals, I thought it was a great game. I was rooting for the Bengals myself ’cause they just made their Superbowl debut. The Bengals were newcomers to the Superbowl and toward the end of the game, I thought they had the game won but the Rams got ahead of them on the last minute. It was a very close game but very good.

and oh yeah, why was the Rock there last night? Well there’s a lot of complainers about that one and I wanna defend that one a little bit. The reason he was there is ’cause the stadium that last night’s Superbowl was at is gonna be the same stadium this year’s Wrestlemania is gonna be. The Rock was there not only to build up some hype for last night’s game but also build some hype for this year’s Wrestlemania. He was there for a “marketing” kind of thing, ya know? Crazy how a lot of people nowadays don’t understand wrestling.

It was an interesting Superbowl this year.

Dolly Parton responds to “Rock and Roll Hall of Fame” nomination… she seems very flattered but even she doesn’t think she’s rock n’ roll enough…

The Rock and Hall of Fame got a lot of criticism over the years, with lots of people saying it’s not even Rock n’ Roll enough. Well, when the nominations came out for this year, it nominated legendary country singer, Dolly Parton. Well, Dolly herself responded during an interview with Billboard magazine… she says she’s floored and she seems very flattered by the nomination but it even confused her.

Dolly doesn’t consider herself “rock n’ roll”. She always considered herself as a strictly “country” artist and nothing more. Dolly’s been doing this since the late 60’s and she has like 50 studio albums in her discography pretty much. All of them country, although I’m sure some of her “country” music is kind of rock n’ roll a little bit.

Dolly says if she gets in, she’s planning to do a rock album like do rock music inspired by Linda Ronstadt and Heart kind of stuff which is kind of cool and would be a game changer.

Even Dolly is confused with the Hall of Fame like the rest of us.

Dolly Parton is one of the biggest names in country music and she seems like a very humble lady.

Yes, as long as she got the nomination, I think that’s an automatic induction, she’ll get in, I think. Even though it’s the wrong genre, lmao… but I do love Dolly, though. I have two albums by her: “Hello, I’m Dolly” and the “Jolene” album.

I respect her even more.

Cool video of Mel Gibson at gas station, actor gets approached by random fan…

@lobito162090

Mi día de suerte le eché aire a #MelGibson Mel Gibson

♬ sonido original – Lobo

This is a tiktok video gone viral. Why? Because on it has actor and director Mel Gibson at a gas station with him putting air in his vehicle. Of course, Mel gets approached by a random fan.

Usually famous people don’t like to be bothered in public places and some celebs are rude to their fans but not Mel, though. Mel doesn’t seem to mind getting approached by fans even when he’s busy doing something.

Mel gets a lot of criticism toward his personality like some thinks he’s an asshole and stuff but that’s not what I see here at all. Here you see Mel talking with the fan, joking and laughing with him and you can see Mel here asking the fan to help him out with his tires. This fan getting asked to do a favor by an iconic actor and director? Keep in mind, Mel Gibson is a guy did Mad Max, Lethal Weapon, Braveheart and so many iconic movies.

Mel seems like a standup guy to me and he seems very appreciative to his fans. See Mel Gibson out in public somewhere? Don’t be afraid to walk up to him and say, “hi”! I’m sure he won’t bite at all. 🙂

No surprise that Facebook is losing users and stocks… it’s about to become the next myspace…

Ya know, I find it funny that tiktok was to blame that facebook lost uers and its stock market. It’s like, seriously?

Um no, the real reasons everyone is not liking facebook anymore is for several reasons listed here:

  • Massive censorship… all the fact checks, getting suspended or what they call it “FB jail” is a huge problem and people are fucking tired of it. This is one reason people leave.
  • FB being a platform for liberals… it seems that FB is intentionally turning their social media platform for liberals only is that their goal? Seems so. Conservatives are getting suspended like crazy but lefties don’t get any punishment for saying stupid things, what gives?
  • Not enough privacy… this might be one of the big issues FB has… not enough privacy like they keep promising.
  • FB steals information when they claimed they don’t… they’ve been exposed for that, remember?
  • Seems like FB is a cesspool for drama and trolls… another reason people leave is cause of the drama and bullshit. Getting cyberbullied by people is a big problem, ya know? You can’t trust anyone nowadays, including your own friends and family. This is another reason people hit the “deactivate” button.

I can go on but those are the big ones, I would say. Really though, the no. 1 reason people leave is really the massive censorship going on.

Of course Zuckerberg doesn’t take responsibility for anything and blames tiktok.

I’d like to leave FB but I have my own reasons for not leaving. There’s a couple of reasons why I stay but I would rather keep those for myself.

FB losing users and stock market is no surprise and Zuckerberg should have seen that one coming. FB used to be fun but right now it is horrible.

Hilarious seeing all the liberals crying about Joe Rogan like the saying goes, “if you don’t like it then don’t listen to it”… problem solved???

Waaaaaahhhhhhhhh, Joe Rogan said this and said that…. Waaaahhhhhhhhhhh…. he should be off of spotify simply because he has his own opinions and viewpoints than the left.

Bunch of crybabies like always.

And anyway how is Joe spreading misinformation? Is there any proof of that ’cause I haven’t seen any.

Neil Young is a good musician and good songwriter, I’m a fan too but I do think his politics and “save the earth” advocacy is annoying. It is funny that Neil goes around acting like such a “science” expert when he has a classic car collection that runs on gas at his ranch. Neil better be careful about being a “science” and “health” expert.
