The RNC this week thoughts… yeah I watched all of the RNC but skipped the DNC this year…

When it comes to president election time, I usually watch both the RNC and DNC just so I can watch what’s going on with both sides, ya know? I always thought that was a good thing to do but for a while now I’ve been skipping the DNC. Can’t watch the DNC side anymore ’cause the left is getting a lot worse but yes, I watched all 4 days of RNC this week.

I didn’t watch Nights 1 and 2 on TV but caught up with both of those nights on youtube. I watched nights 3 and 4 on TV, though.

I thought most speakers did a great job at the RNC this year but some of the best speeches I thought were Nicholas Sandmann, Herschel Walker, Ann Dorn, the parents of Kayla Mueller, Jack Brewer, Kayleigh, McEnany, Alice Johnson, Melania Trump, Tiffany Trump and Ivanka Trump. I thought those were the best speakers this year.

Of course, Mike Pence and Donald Trump killed it with their speeches like always.

I thought Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump did okay but wasn’t their strongest and wasn’t the best.

The left is getting scary. Their destruction of the police continues, they’re taking away our freedom of expression more and more and their obsessive hatred for Donald Trump the president is getting way over the top. Also, the mainstream media is getting worse and worse. I’ll never vote Democrat again. For the past few years, I’ve been voting straight Republican and I’ll do the same for this upcoming election.

The RNC was good this year. Some of you will think, “Blah, the RNC is just a bunch of Republicans kissing Trump’s ass”. Not really… all I saw this year was former Democrats turning Republican to support Trump, either that or they’re still Democrat supporting Trump so it’s not all that one sided like some of you think. After the RNC nights, C-span kept getting callers of former Democrats to turn Republican to support Trump and they are lifelong Democrats. You don’t need to be a left-winger for the rest of your life. The “Walkaway” campaign is real and Trump is getting way more support than ever.

While the RNC was good this year there were some people who I thought they snubbed which they should have had speeches… they didn’t have Diamond & Silk, Terrence K. Williams and Candace Owens… those people I speak of are very important for conservative black voices and they would have been good for the RNC. Candace should have been there the most, though… why did she get snubbed? Hmmm…

I’m voting for Trump in Nov. ’cause there no way I’ll vote for Biden. Just another awful Democrat candidate. Can the Democrats actually pick a good candidate? Nope. The left has never been this radical in the past. Before Obama, the left “used” to be a patriotic party but not anymore. I’m so glad I don’t see myself as a liberal. I’m a proud Conservative and Republican voter. I’ll never change. I hate liberalism and despise the way it’s going right now.

This year is going to be an easy re-election for Trump and a landslide win for Republicans all over. We’ll take the House back too. Just watch. Joe Biden doesn’t have a chance.

RIP: Chadwick Boseman 1976 – 2020…

ap-chadwick-boseman-jordan-strauss-invisionjpg.jpg

A young film actor by the name of Chadwick Boseman just passed away of cancer this week. Like most people, I’m shocked and saddened too. While Chadwick was mostly well-known as Black Panther in Marvel, he got well-known for a few other roles such as “42” in which he played baseball hero Jackie Robinson and in “Get on Up” in which he played the godfather of soul, James Brown for that biopic film.

As for his iconic role as Black Panther, he played that character 4 times. The Black Panther character first got its introduction in “Captain America: Civil War” and then the character appeared in the solo film, “Black Panther” and after that two Avengers films.

I wasn’t that crazy about the “Black Panther” solo film but I liked the Black Panther character in “Civil War” and the two Avengers movies “Infinity War” and “Endgame”. I have seen Chadwick in a few other roles such as “42”, “Get On Up” and “Message From the King”. I thought “Message From the King” was a great movie and it’s a Netflix exclusive too. I haven’t seen “Marshall” yet but I should check it out sometime.

Chadwick was a great talent and was too young to go. He died at 43, he was just my age. A big loss in Hollywood and I never saw this one coming like most. RIP Chadwick and thanks for the entertainment. I should give “Black Panther” another look, though and it’s streamable on Disney Plus which I have.

Christone Ingram aka “Kingfish”… damn, this is real blues if you wanna hear it…

ChristoneIngramKingfish.jpg

I’m not crazy about today’s blues music. I fuckin’ love the blues but I prefer the older blues. Today’s blues music is more “pop” and too “singer/songwriter-ish” type of stuff, ya know? Well Christone Ingram aka “Kingfish”, knows what real blues is supposed to sound like. You gotta hear this album ’cause I love it.

Kingfish is that young 21 year old blues guitarist who is pretty big internet sensation in youtube which was how he got his record deal, I would assume and here is his debut album, pictured above. This album reminds me of a mix of SRV, Clapton and BB King. When you listen to this album, you’ll notice different styles of blues on it… blues rock, regular blues, Texas blues, Chicago blues, acoustic blues, slide guitar blues, etc. There’s something for everyone on it for all blues fans.

This album is fucking sick. I listened to it a couple of times while I was on vacation last week. It’s got some of the best guitar playing you’ll hear. The rhythm and lead guitar work is freakin’ brilliant and Christone’s singing isn’t that bad either. It’s a fun album to listen to all the way through.

Yeah, this kid is only 21 and he plays like he’s 50. Before I bought this album, I already knew of him ’cause I saw a few of his videos on youtube before and I think I’ve read an interview with him through Guitar World magazine.

I’m gonna be addicted to this album and I think I’m gonna buy every album he comes out with now. He’s got a long and successful career ahead of him. Hope he’s ready for this. Give this album a shot.

“The Batman” teaser is finally here and it looks amazing, I’m so there for this one…

When Robert Pattinson was announced that he was going to be the next Batman for the upcoming “The Batman” directed by Matt Reeves, it got mixed reactions. Some love it and some hate it as Pattinson being the next Batman. I’m one of those that always believed that Pattinson could pull it off and I always believed in him in that role. So many trashed Matt Reeves and “The Batman” ’cause of Pattinson’s history with the Twilight movies. So far, I’m seeing the Pattinson critics having a change of heart after the teaser finally came out and many critics not saying anything as well.

I think the first teaser is impressive and gave me goosebumps. Looks like this movie is gonna be the beginnings of Catwoman, The Penguin and the Riddler ’cause as you can see those characters look different and they aren’t those iconic villains… “yet”. Just an origin story for them, not an origin story for Batman which has already been done so many times.

The new Batman looks intense though and looks 10x’s more violent than the previous Batmans we’ve had in the past. Batman, a lot more tougher and more angry.

My question is, no Joker at all in this movie? I wouldn’t rule that out… probably no Joker but don’t be surprised if you’ll see or hear a Joker reference or more. If there is going to be a sequel to this movie and probably will be depending how this movie does in the box office, I’m sure they will feature more and different villains.

I’m so glad this movie “The Batman” is gonna be a detective story finally. All the previous Batman films we had were “action” movies. They weren’t detective stories. We need a detective story where fans can figure things out ourselves and we need a Batman movie where we can really think. A mystery “whodunit” story is what’s missing and we’re finally getting that.

Can’t wait and I’m definitely seeing this film when it comes out.

Going on vacation during the Covid-19 pandemic is interesting…

I haven’t posted on the blog for a whole week ’cause i went on vacation in Cape Cod, Mass. for a whole week. I love Cape Cod. I’ve been there so many times. I’ve been to vacation at different places in the United States but I think the Cape would have to be my favorite.

Going on vacation during the Covid-19 pandemic is interesting, though. You can’t really do much fun stuff since a lot of places will be closed due to pandemic. About all you can do is go to the beaches, do some fishing, swimming, go to shops and eat at restaurants. That’s it pretty much.

Yes, I went to the beach a lot but I didn’t swim this time ’cause I’m not much of a swimmer anymore. I like swimming, just not a good swimmer anymore, ya know? I don’t swim much so I guess I forgot how to swim. I’m not afraid of water or anything. I just walked along the beach for some exercise and adventure ’cause I like doing that.

I also did a bit of shopping for myself and spent the afternoon in Hyannis by myself last Friday afternoon. Downtown Hyannis where President Kennedy used to live has a pretty cool town with all the cool shops. I only go there ’cause they have an actual record store that I like… yes a record store, remember those? The name of the record store is called “Spinnaker Records” and I always go to the store each time I go to Cape Cod. I walked out with 4 cd’s this year. Two albums by David Bowie that I don’t have yet… “Lodger” and “Pinups”. I also picked up the Who “Tommy” and The Beatles “Let It Be”, all on CD. I also picked up 4 books from Cape Cod: “The Dirt” by Motley Crue, a biography of Billy the Kid, a biography of Al Capone and a book by Billy Gibbons (the guy from ZZ Top). I also bought a t-shirt with the American Flag “Blue Line” shirt so I can show my support for the police and bought an Iphone/Ipod holder for my bicycle that way I can film video while riding the bike.

Going on vacation during a “mask wearing” pandemic is interesting, though. If you ever want to feel stupid, I’m seeing a lot of people out there wearing masks every where they go. People wear masks even outside when walking, riding their bikes and even while they’re running. It’s like seriously? I don’t like wearing masks but I only wear them when going into a store if they have a sign that says “masks are required”.

This mask wearing thing is silly and so fucking stupid. I hate wearing them myself and I want this mask shit to end already.

Other than that, it was a great vacation. Spend some time with family and also for me to get away from everyone and everything and all the crazy bullshit in the world. It was nice to get away from it all.

I’ll try to post on the blog a lot more this week.

Looks like gyms will get back open real soon??? I’ll believe it when I see it…

King Cuomo is about to make an announcement the re-open of gyms this coming Monday and I’ll be looking forward to it. Hopefully he’s gonna get the gyms back open this month. I predict the gyms in NY State will get back open at the end of August probably so I probably won’t be going back to the gym ’til Sept.

https://www.timesunion.com/news/article/Gym-reopening-guidance-coming-Monday-Cuomo-15484335.php?fbclid=IwAR0eC4IYkDdzfaclk4Q8FIvbpG4SrJb2IZnElSImMqgcrK8kS-vsZ5Zzc8M

Yes, I’m sure Cuomo will announce that gyms in NY will re-open carefully and with a lot of restrictions and precautions but I’m okay with that. As long as I’m back in a gym smashing weights and making gains, I’m happy. There’s been no gym for several months and I definitely miss smashing weights and lifting.

As you all know, weightlifting is a big passion of mine other than music. Did I lose muscle gains and powerlifting strength during this time off of the gym due to this dumb pandemic? I probably did lose a little bit but I can get it all back in a few months.

When I go back though, I’m gonna change my program and routine around a little bit. Make the workout days shorter so I don’t spend two hours or a little more in the gym so I’ll have to write out a four day program and figure things out.

I think Cuomo is planning to reopen NY Gyms ’cause of all those lawsuits flying around by NY gym owners. Cuomo is feeling a lot of pressure of that and he threw in the towel? Looks like it. I think the NY gym owners won the fight so congratulations to them but I’ll wait for Monday to see if Cuomo is really gonna open gyms. I think he will.

I can’t wait to get back to my bodybuilding and powerlifting training. Can’t wait get back to my deadlifting, benching and squatting. My pr numbers on those three lifts probably went down a little bit but we’ll see.

What workout day will I start with when I return to the gym??? I’ll probably start with chest day then arm day then leg day and then back day. Like I said I might change it around to make the days shorter so I might have to combine a few body parts into one day and that’ll help I think. I’ll plan something.

Looking forward to going back to the gym this year ’cause I really miss it pretty badly.

Two great podcasts about the #JaliekRainwalker case, definitely worth the listen if you don’t know much about it…

You’ve seen me post about the Jaliek Rainwalker case here some and I’m sure a few of you out there may be new to it and don’t know much about it. Well, give these two podcast episodes a listen. You should listen to both of them all the way through from start to finish. I did and they nailed all the circumstances of the case perfectly… got all the facts and did their homework for sure.

Like most, this case has always haunted me for years and I’ve followed this case ever since it happened. This was a well-done podcast by True Crime Garage and entertaining as hell to listen to. I’ve listened to so many podcasts and saw quite a few videos talking about the Jaliek Rainwalker case but out of all the ones I’ve listened to, these guys did the best job. This is a podcast that would piss off Stephen & Jocelyn & that “dirtbag” lawyer of theirs for sure so I hope they heard this one.

https://castbox.fm/episode/Jaliek-Rainwalker–Part-1–418-id1330901-id296577367?utm_campaign=a_share_ep&utm_medium=dlink&utm_source=a_share

https://castbox.fm/episode/Jaliek-Rainwalker–Part-2–419-id1330901-id296835636?utm_campaign=a_share_ep&utm_medium=dlink&utm_source=a_share

I’m gonna have no choice but to go with most people’s feelings on this that Stephen and Jocelyn definitely had something to do with and both probably killed him. It is possible to make a child murder look like a runaway and that’s what’s going on here. The adoptive parents maintain their innocence to this day. Claiming that Jaliek is still alive, ran away and they still believe he’s gonna come home one day… well it’s getting close to 13 years since this case has been opened and Jaliek still hasn’t turned up alive yet.

Them and that “dirtbag” lawyer guy wants us to believe that anonymous letter the “Jaliek is alive” letter sent to the media as proof that Jaliek is alive but none of us is buying it. You want us to believe an anonymous letter is proof that Jaliek is still alive? That letter proves nothing. We all believe that letter is bullshit. They were asked before by the police to prove how Jaliek is still alive and well… so almost 13 years and nobody proved how Jaliek is still alive. There’s no evidence that Jaliek ran away and no evidence of him being alive either. They think that on that anonymous letter is real ’cause they claim there’s info on it that Jaliek himself only knows. LOL…. bullshit. I would think that if Jaliek was a huge fan of Michael Franti’s music, his family would know about it. They would know that he had a cat named Diamond and they would know who the “macaronni” family is.

As far as the Jaliek running away from home claim, nobody is buying that either. I know Greenwich pretty well since I lived all my life here and yes, I know Hill St. pretty well. A lot of times when I’m out riding my bike in town, I would ride my bike by the Hill St. home and have a look. I don’t step on that property of course but there’s no stopping me giving that home a quick look standing on the sidewalk.

Observing the home, the only way Jaliek would sneak out of the house would be either the back door of the garage and the front door of the house. If Jaliek opened the back door of the house, there would have been a loud noise and someone would have heard. If Jaliek went out the front door, there would have been a door slam. I know Greenwich very well and Hill St. and Main St. have all kinds of homes and businesses all over. So if Jaliek ranaway over night, somebody would have spotted him and brought him home, he wouldn’t last long out there. Also, there always police officers patrolling the town over night and cops are usually good at spotting runaways quickly. They would usually stop when they see someone walking in the street overnight. There’s no way Jaliek would be walking in the cold in beginning of Nov. when he vanished. Nobody can see this so we all know their runaway claim is bullshit.

Sure, there’s no proof that Jaliek is dead either but we can’t help but think he is dead since this family refuses to cooperate and not doing anything to help find him. That “dirtbag” lawyer guy was just hired to make it seem like this family is concerned for Jaliek when they are not at all. When parents have a missing kid, they don’t go around saying… “waaaahhhh…. we are innocent, we had nothing to do with this. I wish the police would stop coming after us”. They don’t do that… they don’t go around playing the innocent victim which is all Stephen and Jocelyn has been doing since the beginning. Parents with a missing child would do everything under the sun to help find him… that means working with the police, the local media and the public. Stephen and Jocelyn don’t do any of that and not looking for him at all. When you don’t do any of that, it  screams guilty, ya know? Stephen and Jocelyn don’t ask for the public assistance in helping find Jaliek but instead they keep it quiet and don’t mention his name and pretends Jaliek never existed. Most of this family is on social media and they don’t bring him up at all… instead they post pictures of their cats and their happy times with their happy family and post their left-wing political bullshit. Concerned for Jaliek? Doesn’t look like it to me.

What I love even more though is that the Kerr family no longer owns the Hill St. home. It was sold two years ago and now owned by Whipple City Square. The home was quietly sold and it wasn’t listed. The home was sold to people that they know well and I’m not gonna bring up their names but it got turned into a local art gallery… that 11 Hill St. home. The home where Jaliek spent his last night in is now an art gallery. I don’t think the new owner of that home will help us find Jaliek since they’re connected with the Kerrs but it would be nice if they would ’cause that home is important to this investigation. How could they do something like that? Selling a home where Jaliek went missing from. What if he did turn up alive, he goes back there and nobody’s around? This family concerned for Jaliek? Oh please.

There are a lot of calls out there that Stephen should get prosecuted right now… but if you think about it, I think Jaliek’s remains/body should get found first so we can have a better case. If they arrest Stephen now, he goes to trial, he could get acquitted due to lack of evidence, ya know? I’m beginning to agree that we should wait to prosecute until Jaliek gets found. It’s a good idea. I think Stephen and Jocelyn should both get arrested once the remains/body gets found and someday it will get found.

One day we will get closure and the Kerrs will go down. We will nail them somehow so I hope they keep smiling and hope they keep enjoying their lives in Vermont. They think they got away with it but they won’t.

Enjoy the podcasts above. It’s a good listen.

Robin Williams passed 6 years ago today…

Robin Williams was definitely one of my favorite actors like most people. I grew up watching all of his movies just like you. Robin was an actor who could play anything that throws at him. He wasn’t just a “comedic” actor, though… and yes he did mostly comedic roles but he can also do serious dramatic roles and he can do much darker roles like “One hour Photo”, “Insomnia” and “Death To Smoochy” which are all great movies, btw. He definitely was a great talent and a true comedian too.

Some of the other movies I loved he was in were “Popeye”, “Dead Poets Society”, “Jack”, “RV”, “Toys” and even though “The Birdcage” was a weird as hell movie it’s definitely one of his best comedies. I’m also not afraid to admit he was good in “Hook” and I liked him as Peter Pan. He did too many good films and I loved “RV” too. Even if “RV” was a low budget B movie type of film, it’s still good and entertaining as hell.

Robin should be good enough proof that movie stars and celebrities aren’t perfect as people wanna believe. A lot of people want to believe that movie stars have it all and think they’re happy and perfect ’cause they’re famous but you’d be surprised to find out that no, not really. When will people realize that celebs and movie stars are human like the rest of us? Yes, they are richer than the rest of us but they talk like us, eat like us and they have their problems like us. Nobody is perfect even them. They don’t carry around this “I’m a movie star” thing with them, a lot of them just see acting as a job and it’s what they do for a living to survive.

Celebrities and Hollywood people committing suicide is on the rise ’cause fame is tough. If they want suicides to stop in Hollywood and the music industry then I wish people would start treating them better ’cause that’s a part of it. People suck in this world for sure. Losing Robin should be a pretty good wake up call that depression is real and I think more people has woken up about it. Before Robin’s suicide, he was on the verge of getting Parkinson’s but he was suffering depression years before then… he had it for a long time.

Robin was a great talent for sure, I’ve watched his films ever since I was a child. If he was alive today, I’m sure he would still be making movies. Too bad people couldn’t help him and I’m sure they tried.

The future of Hollywood, will they ever go back to work? They are still shutdown…

Yeah, Hollywood is a mess right now… no doubt but many conservatives in America won’t publicly admit that they all watch movies and TV shows. Even through this pandemic while we are all on lockdown, that means Hollywood is on lockdown too. Many major movies and TV shows that were currently being made had to stop production. Movies that were already made before pandemic are being sent to streaming services and “on demand” releases ’cause many states in America don’t have movie theaters open. With no movie theaters open, that means there’s no where for Hollywood to release their films whether national or indie films. Future film releases go on streaming services or “On Demand” through TV like I said.

It’s harder to find new movies to watch ’cause with Hollywood out of work, that means directors, producers, screenwriters, actors, actresses are all stuck at home and they can’t give us any new entertainment as of this moment. Most of the movies getting released were made before the pandemic. Hollywood out of work, that means no film.

Believe it or not, Hollywood film people are all stuck at home like the rest of us. That’s why you’re seeing more movie stars online more often trying to entertain their fans in different ways: online q&a’s, live twitter chats, live stream, etc. Whatever.

Admittedly I do miss going to the movie theaters as I haven’t been in a movie theater in a couple of months. I still do try to catch new 2020 movie releases the best I can, though. I’m hoping movie theaters get back open this year and I’m sure they will come back. What will happen when movie theaters stay shut down through the Fall and Hollywood stays shut down? That means all the movies in the Fall will be pushed back even later and the new James Bond movie which is supposed to be the biggest movie of the year may not get released in theaters at all and might get an “on Demand” release. Same might happen with Spielberg’s remake of “West Side Story” and the Dune remake. We’ll have to see wait and see what happens.

You may think it or may not care but Hollywood is suffering through this pandemic. Yeah, Hollywood is in a lot of trouble right now with all this “pedo” stuff and the “Me too” movement but it’ll all calm down soon, I’m sure.

I still like to watch movies and you do too, admit it.

Aaaah the summer, more people go on vacations more during this pandemic…

Well this “pandemic” is still on obviously and vacation cities and beaches all over America are busy. People are getting outraged over that but I can understand why people would want to vacation while this country is still under lockdown. People are not gonna get holed up in their homes all summer during this nice weather, ya know? It’s not gonna happen. People just want to get some sun and get some fresh air… get out of the house. People are getting fed up staying home so they go on vacation and hit the beaches and I can’t blame them at all.

The reason people do it is because for a few reasons… they are bored for starters, hitting the beaches helps relieves stress while the country is on lockdown and their way of getting out to socialize with people since they can’t do that anywhere else. Yes, the big vacation cities are mostly on lockdown still and all you can pretty much do is hit the beaches but it’s still good to get out and be away from home for a while.

Yes, in big vacation cities all over America… you can probably eat at restaurants now and go do some shopping in some places but you won’t be able to go to malls, movie theaters, visit museums. I’m sure you can still do some sight seeing in some places, though.

I’ll be going to Cape Cod in a few weeks and there probably won’t be much to do but hit the beaches, go fishing and ride the bike on the rail trails. I’m not a fisherman at all but I’ll probably hit the beach and I’ll probably hang out in downtown Hyannis for the day ’cause restaurants and shopping places are back open there, I believe.

You can’t blame people for wanting to go on vacation in this pandemic. They’re fed up of this lockdown and want to do fun stuff while people are out of work.

I love Cape Cod and looking forward to going back.
